Awesome video :D Please produce many many more, showing us the everyday life in Israel :D Hoping you can still improve the sound a bit next time - it will make the video even nicer :D Much love from the Easy German Team ❤️
Yes, I just commented along these lines. EasyGerman does really great work with the SLOW everyday life in Germany--like In the Kitchen, etc. Great work, Cari und Janusz, u.a. I hope to see this in Hebrew!
On Wikipedia in Yiddish Language, I have read that - expecially before WW2 - most Jews spoke Yiddish, that is basically "German"... There is a famous Jew Italian Journalist, who has a German surname... Only some Jews, living in the Iberian peninsula and in Mediterranean regions, spoke a sort of "Spanish" Language. That's because Hebrew was a sort of "liturgical" , "holy" Language, used mainly to pray and to read the Torah. It had probably a similar role to Latin for Christians... But Mr Eliezer Ben-Yehuda made Hebrew a MODERN LANGUAGE, fit to be the "Lingua Franca" for all those Jews that - after WW2 - settled in Israel. Indeed all those Jews had different "backgrounds" (Russian, Ukranian, French, Polish, English, American, etc.) and only thanks to the "modernized Hebrew" they could communicate to each other...
Great! I came here from the EasyGerman channel. Please do some of the slow ones that EasyGerman does like In the Kitchen. These interviews are great too--I learned אישיות--but it'd be great to complement them with slow ones too.
