    I'm in Canada but I haven't heard of any news regarding a Ranger Raptor. I hope Ford Canada will bring these to the market because I am in dire need of this truck!

    Just for reference, to release the rear armrest, just pull the tag to the left or right to release it. No effort needed😊

      Lmao. Nothing exists in this space here in Australia. You'll have to fork over $200K for a TRX or F-150 Raptor. Or stick with lame 4 cylinder diesel performers for slightly less. It's a niche product here.

    Amazing in depth review! Just put down a booking deposit for one of these machines.
    FYI: the rear center arm rest has a locking mechanism. Pull down on the strap to release.

    Armrest - to unlock it -you pull cloth handle upward, not downward.
    Cons about this truck
    1. Small cupholders
    2. space in back looks very tight, much worse than previous years, seems like due to bulky seats,
    3. payload capacity lowered than previous years
    4. Electronic handbreak

    Regarding braking, big wheels and tires resist stopping due to inertia. On this vehicle there is competion for space between brake rotor diameter and tire sidewall height and tires win.

      When you upgrade to a bigger wheels and tires you’re supposed to upgrade your brakes also but with this one being designed with the bigger tires I would assume their brakes were designed to be adequate enough for the Bigger tires

    Rolling in corners is not weight it's suspension. It's intentionally soft so it can run fast over desert terrain, etc.

    The thing is.... no ones buying this and then using it to its full 'potential' re: suspension. When was the last time you saw a ute in town with a full tray worth of gear anyway?

    All you have to do is lift the strap up then out on the rear armrest. It has a latch, rather than pulling on it the way you were.

      @@ProductReviewCars the normal trucks just have it held in there by the friction between the seats but I think Ford thought that they needed a better way to hold it in so that when you’re going over bumps and rocks it doesn’t fall open

    The Mavericks look like old Explorers size. The Rangers look just like the old heritage F150s. The F150 looks like the old F250s size. No wonder I can't fit a ford on a trail anymore

    Orange accents cheapen the interior and that exhaust sound couldn't be much worse. Seats aren't leather disappointingly. Feels like a magnet for sweat. Steering wheel stitching cuts into your hands. CV joints still terrible. Plenty of missus by Ford still.

    ford's engineers have lost it. The new ford ranger 4clyninder engine is absolute trash. The coolant busts the paper thin gasket and seeps into the cylinder. Plus many other horrible design flaws. I imagine this 3l v6 is similar. Their interior's are nice at least, minus the red trim.

      Ridiculously and unnecessarily oversized as if they were built for people 8 feet tall and 500 pounds, intimidating to drive, hard to maneuver, overwhelming to work on. So much waste just to say look how big my johnson is. This Ranger is honestly a large truck and its considered small here.

      At 6'2" I can't fit in the back of any midsize trucks. When you are taking a crew of 5 around to pour concrete anything below a half ton truck is useless.
      Family with teenagers taking a trip? Yup full size. Not everyone lives in downtown Los Angeles.
      Payload includes passengers. 4 adults takes up half the payload of most full size trucks. Not everyone lives in your world.

    This truck is ugly af IMO. The new Colorado ZR2 is so much better imo. Not as much HP but who cares. It’s better in every other way.
