Chromecast is working good even in VGA computer monitor via Hdmi to Vga converter (with audio). Which costs Rs.295/- in India. Audio is extracted easily via the converter and its crystal clear even with normal Rs.250/- Zebronics speakers. One female connector (Rs.150/-) is required for connecting both end males (Chromecast and Hdmi cable). Finally Chromecast is working perfectly in normal 16:9 computer monitor. If u want to use the same computer monitor to TV and Chromecast, then you can ignore the female connector and instead buy one Hdmi splitter with remote which is (from Rs.350/- to Rs.1,150/-). U can use ur normal computer monitor as smart TV.

But, only the problem is Wattsapp videos are mirroring without sound. If I played videos of Wattsapp, sound is not coming. Only video is playing without sound. What to do? Please reply early. Your device should be in reach of the WiFi network connecting your smartphone to the Chromecast. So you can step out of the house, provided your WiFi connection reaches till there

U need 2 mobile phones, one should accept WiFi (say Mobile 01 let it be 3g even any non-working sim is OK as we are receiving only wifi) and other to transmit WiFi via Hotspot (say Mobile 02 - 4g mobile with Jio sim). Remember u can operate as like remote only via the one which was used via WiFi (i.e., Mobile 01). Here the mobile 02 (4g sim with Jio sim) will be just used as transmitter. Daily 1.5 GB quota in Jio sim is more than sufficient to cast in TV with quality 480 which will cast continuous 3.5 - 4 hours.
