Doctor can you please tell me why excessive bleeding happen when having periods? I've been suffering from this issue since around ten years. My gynecologist recommend norethindrone to stop bleeding and sometimes primolut...and then sometimes trasamin with mefen. But nothing is permanent but temporary. And sometimes these drugs does not work well. It is not 100% recognized as PCOD or PCOS as the volume of ovaries seems normal. It seems that the endometrium tissues are little bit thicker than it should be. When the doctor checked hormones level ut shows that the testosterone level and prolactin level is increasing with few points. But not in significant amount. Then my endocrinologist recommend metformin with topiramate along with Diane 35 (and norethindrone when severe bleeding) It's also not Permanent. As long as I take these drugs it seems everything is going well. Now the matter is , the menstrual cycle does not work regularly. In some months there isn't periods at all while there is a heavy bleeding without stopping when periods comes. Sometimes even transamin ( five days with three times a day) could not stop bleeding while primolute (2 tablets ×3 times a day ) could stop bleeding as long as consuming it. When it stopped having this medicine it starts again bleeding. Can you please explain this condition doctor? I'm fed of from all treatments now.
