Very easy to assemble Recommened, and only attachments I've used so far work well, and are easy to use. Doing a good job on the new carpet in my bedrooms and stairs. Works well on the hardwood on my main floor too. Reasonable weight and cord length. I already knew from an earlier review that it wouldn't fit under furniture, but I can use my Eufy for that, so no problem - the high traffic areas that need a stronger suction was really what I bought this for. If it continues as it's started, it will be a good buy and well worth the money. I have had two Shark Rocket stick vacs in the past that are super easy to use, but the motors just don't last well, even with scrupulous cleaning of the filters. I'm hoping for better with this Bissell.

Up until recently I'd just been using the mop for the last year. I rediscovered my attachments and thought I'd better use them. Although I tend to use soap and water on my walls, I had this huge urge to steam them instead, but be aware you will melt the paint, lol. But dang, does it get stuff clean.
Yes...the very hot steam on painted walls can melt the paint, or lift it away from the wall!,

A few weeks ago we bought our third SHARK. The first one worked great. Don't know the model number on that one but it was the one that you had to pump the handle to get steam. We had it for several years. When that one quit working we bought one shown in the video. The first 3901 did not work right out of the box. The second piece of crap we bought has been used 3 times and has done less that 1000 sq ft total in all 3 uses. It leaves a water trail wherever it has been. Bought it at a local store but they won't take it back because it clearly says - "Do not return to store". This one is a S3901D and it will definitely be our last

Does anyone have an issue with the plug getting hot after use? I have this steam mop and after use, the prongs that go into the power outlet get hot to the touch. I wonder if it’s because I run mine on scrub most of the time. Has anyone had an issue like this? Nothing else I own gets hot like that, so it doesn’t appear to be a wiring issue.
How do I get parts?
I plugged my lift-away steam mop in and it started steaming right away. I hadn't put the mop head on and could not find a way to turn it completely off. I finally just unplugged it. Is there really NO on off switch? I couldn't find anything but the trigger and that isn't stopping the steam when it's plugged in.

when you are moping do you have to hold the button to release steam or is it just with the hand held part of it?

Just the hand held.....thank goodness. Steam just flows when your mopping, so no button to press......thank goodness.....no sore fingers!!
