I wonder if soaking over night would help?
@@elisaquintana7653 no, unfortunately, tried that. does yours not do that?
Floppycats yes, I’ve tried soaking them for 24 hours before. They come out pretty clean but not sparkling white like new again. I’m figuring that’s the best I could do.
Elisa Quintana 👍 made no difference for mine. What did you soak it in?
At this point I think I would just prefer my regular mop and bucket. The steamer gives off some weird smell. I like my house smelling like fabuloso lol
ha ha ha - i hate that fabuloso smell - chemically for me.
Has your mop ever gotten clogged with residue? My older version got clogged and it doesn’t steam as much anymore. Shark told me all o could do was soak the attachment head in hot water OR get a discount on a new one.
no, but i only use distilled water - i don't use tap water. think it would happen with tap water. wonder if you could soak the part in vinegar - that usually will break things up and it's usually pretty safe.
Try soaking the head in some C.L.R. or maybe white vinegar as a Hail Mary play
Sanguine Sophrosyne “hail Mary play” 😂
you have to used distilled water the minerals in tap will clog it up
Are your cats afraid of the machine
yes i talk about that.
Omg i am early 😻
So you used the same attachment for the stove on the floor yea that isn’t very sanitary even if you throw it in the wash after 🤢
ha ha ha =) aren't you glad i didn't invite you for dinner?
You do know that it is steam! It sanitizes the pads before using!! So chill! You do what you want in your own home!
high true! Ha ha ha. “So chill” an interesting response to the question. I’d like mine sparkling white, as you described. I was asking if you thought the boiling would get out the soiled stain. Didn’t think I’d be told to “chill”. Ha ha 🤦♀️
Actually good question; e.g., want to use on toilet and then elsewhere even after washing?
So far so good with this vacuum. th-cam.com/users/postUgkx8ISPQRRAfpAaX4msGjyodObTBnlj4T5g I was a little concerned to find it seems to be all plastic, but the reviews were good, so I'm hoping for the best. Very easy to assemble Recommened, and only attachments I've used so far work well, and are easy to use. Doing a good job on the new carpet in my bedrooms and stairs. Works well on the hardwood on my main floor too. Reasonable weight and cord length. I already knew from an earlier review that it wouldn't fit under furniture, but I can use my Eufy for that, so no problem - the high traffic areas that need a stronger suction was really what I bought this for. If it continues as it's started, it will be a good buy and well worth the money. I have had two Shark Rocket stick vacs in the past that are super easy to use, but the motors just don't last well, even with scrupulous cleaning of the filters. I'm hoping for better with this Bissell.
not on the steam mop.
