Another informative and entertaining video Roger. Wishing you and yours a safe, happy and merry Christmas and a prosperous new year. Thankyou for sharing all your fishing knowledge and experiences with us over the year and I am sure there will be more to come in the new year.
Hi Roger, worms on a windy day - that's amazing. I've always found them frustratingly timid when its breezy, not pocking their head out long enough to have a decent go at catching them. You really are the worm whisperer. Anyway, love your videos, keep up the good work and merry Christmas. Cheers.
Just came back now from an absolutely dead sesh. Could you do a video on ways to encourage bites on bad fishing days? Thought it could be interesting to see
Merry Christmas Roger and thanks for the superb videos this year! Wind for the most part i can handle but when it rains at the same time i tend to bail out - when i was a teenager i would fish through just about anything but when you get past 50 you tend to think of more comfortable situations 🤣 I can honestly say i have caught some weird things off a beach but never a trevally , i once caught a tiny cobia off stockton beach - it was only about 8 inches long. Another odd thing i caught a few weeks back in broken bay near patonga was a couple of trevally, usually get flathead, flounder and the odd ray at this spot i fish- Trevally seem to be everywhere at the moment. Have you tried smoking the salmon? They love them down in S.A , i usually curse when i catch one but later on i think of just how good they fight - they really are an underrated sport fish .
bigger rods are better for the beach when using bait 10 up to 14 feet you could cast some heavy lures with tat 7 foot rod while your bait sits and waits for a bite
@@RogerOsborneFishing yes I know ,, in general is what I’m eluding too ,, they have same soft texture as garden worms yet there able too tolerate the salt
you can: but most would not. I watch all your videos but not all of what happens eh? I have leaned a lot from you but not sable to put into practice. Disabilty scooter will not go on sand too well
Rodger please note your vocals have just to much difference between the lows and highs ,perhaps moving a little closer to your neck, however you will find a digital way of sorting that. Love your work, content and knowledge basically your a legend for the way you share your passion, respect Will

Thanks 👍
So relaxing watching the worming.
Glad you enjoyed it
Grandpa is a legend
I love your videos please keep posting. Thanks for your vids
Roger, you are so good!! Glad I found I found your channel
Awesome! Thank you!
You should try circle hooks for bait and wait type fishing. No need to set and almost always catches in the corner of the mouth.
I like your show.

Roger, love the video mate, id love to see you fishing out in the sutherland shire, also, what rod is that for the worms, thanks!
Hi Kristijan, it's a Shimano Maikuro ll Light Beach Rod. Southerland would be good, I have never fished there.
Great little video before it gets dark 😝
Thanks Stephen

Roger can you do a video at kioloa?
Hi Roger, Just wondering what beach are you fishing, noticing that there are no people around much?, Cheers Roger Fisher, Cronulla 👍🤪

You will get a reputation as 'the salmon fisherman' 😃
Do all beach got those worms
Mainly in NSW, QLD and South Australia
some have more chance than others ask a local
Have you fished wairo beach
Yes quite often.
Have you considered using bells on the rod tip when you've got more than one out? Great vids, cheers
Thanks Z X, Yes I have. I bought some the other day for night fishing.
@@RogerOsborneFishing Every time I see the rod bending I'm yelling at the screen haha
How oily are the pacific salmon?
Can you get worms at hyams beach if you know
Not sure Adam. It is within Jervis Bay so I would have to test to see
Can you catch beachworms in WA?
Not sure. I have a few contacts in W.A who are trying to find out.
Hello roger what lb leader and braid would be good for beach fishing and is a 6-8kg 7-7’1 rod good?

@@jb-es5zj thank you
Where do you fish Roger ??
South Coast NSW Ulladulla area.
Find Lake Tabourie,
@@RogerOsborneFishing Do you find worms on Burrill lake beach?
Why are salmon so frowned apoun ?
How do worms survive in the salt water ,,, salt kills slugs
Benny, they are saltwater worms! It is their normal habitat. Fresh water worms would die.

Can you see the worms before you put the fish in the water, I'm interested to find out if you know they are there.
Nope, trial and error every time. Some beaches are better than others, and some days there is plenty and then none the next. Sneaky buggers.
Which part auz is this?
NSW South Coast
Worst part of fishing in the wind, is you can,t see initial little bites!!
Hey mate
Is that near manyana?
@@jasonwilliams5692 looks like Tabourie
