I got back after almost 2 years of absence from sim racing and I got hooked up to rallying now with the latest EA SPORTS WRC 23. I did sim racing for 20 years and I never had any interest in rally as much as I do now. Great video ! Great stuff!!

Racing at its peak. F1 and other track racing type are great but never give us that feeling that driver actually need complete driving skill and not simply skill only needed for the perfect track with perfect environmment.
When i was younger, my family took me on a trip to mexico. Back then I was too young to understand what rally was and was wondering why people were driving these every day street cars through mud. Now that I'm older, i realize that it was that i watched and have grown to appreciate it.
Your friendly reminder that rally is the racing equivalent of Dark Souls; Except in rally, if you're resting at a bonfire, chances are, that was your car.
Carlos Sainz junior when a few drops of rain falls on his visor- I can't race Carlos Sainz Senior sending it in a Group B Renault 5 and a Cosworth- Watch and learn boys
I tried rally racing in a simulation game with full paddle, shifter, wheel, and hand break setup and it was so difficult. How do they manage to go this fast with zero visibility.
These driver r truly brave drive at fog off-road push about 100kmph for like half hour fastest man might be f1 campion but bravest man will only in wrc
@@jonpetter8921 No, they don't. If there is anything more than a few drops, at least the safety car is out, or they abort the race completely. I checked as far back as 2001. Never just switched to rain tires and carried on. Really nothing like those conditions here. And speaking about dangerous ... F1 is faster, but do they have trees, rocks or spectators just beside the track? No.
@@lucasdyer13 Until someone can definitively prove that this jesus character exists, your sentence is nonsense. You might as well say I need Santa Claus or the Tooth fairy. Have a nice day!🙂
the camera distorts a lot. It doesn't have as much dynamic range as the human eye. Sure, the visibility is much worse, but it's actually not as bad as it may appear on the footage.
No. If the driver can't see anything, then the pace notes are quite useless, even though it's the driver himself who creates the pace notes during the recce. The pace notes are like a third eye that can see through walls, mountains, trees, and the like. But if the other two eyes can't see a thing, then surely neither the third one.
Try again to tell me that the best driver in the history of motorsport was Michael Schumacher. No no, that honour goes to a certain Mr. Loeb, from Hagenau, France. Get well, Michael.
This is EPIC. Rally drivers are a different breed 👀
So Red Bull also likes it's own comment
Ok, now this is epic.@@subhyoyogg2394

that is a great slogan for them, honestly. Could make for some very surreal commercials too.@@yurilopes420
Just shows why these are the best drivers in the World. Thanks Red Bull Rally.
You're very welcome, thanks for watching!
This is why they have co drivers, amazing skill
You really have to respect someones driving skill to just put your life in their hands like this. I get scared when droplets hit the windshield.
*Turn wipers on*. Not to say it's going to change my driving though lol
Rally drivers are on another level
Damn right!
Heavy mist, rain and snow is where the good drivers get weeded out from the best. It's the ultimate prove of mastery.
You got that right
*no visibilty, danger on all direction*
Co-pilot : "oh no, anyway, left 2 long followed by jump"
Pilot : "Aight bet" *floors it*
It's not only the drivers but the co drivers thier directions are perfectly timed and the drivers have complete faith in thier every word
Rally's craziness never disappoint us.
When in doubt, hit the throttle!
Me as a kid: I wanna be a rally racer someday!
Adult me talking to the kid: *watch this video*
Haha, exactly. Leave it to the professionals 😁
Makes me even more avid to race!
This is why pace notes are important to get into exact details
The lights bouncing of the bonnet was pretty funny! 😂
I'm surprised you didin't have Markko Martin in Acropolis Rally 2003. He drove a legendary stage with the hood over the windshield for about half of it.
What a fantastic video. Brought a huge smile to my face for 4 minutes straight. Great compilation of absolutely insane talent.
Mad men with equally enormous skills and lack of fear... Amazing
Maximun respect to all these drivers and navigators. Wellcome to the worlds hardest discipline of motorsport.
Impressive teamwork and trust

Rally drivers are the best drivers in the world .
Big ups to those co drivers and their impeccable directions
you guys do a better job than the official WRC channel

their skills level and the level of trust to their co driver call

WRC is for mad man,,, and i love it....
0:08 look the snow has come inside the car of henning solberg
King content.
Being Crazy is actually one of the requirements to become a rally driver.
Actually the driver knows perfectly where he is going, because of the navigator, the real hazard begins when the navigator can not read the track.🏁🏴☠
Praise the driver but also praise the Co driver for knowing where the fuck they are in zero visibility
Your friendly reminder that rally is the racing equivalent of Dark Souls; Except in rally, if you're resting at a bonfire, chances are, that was your car.

This is why they take notes ahead of the race
These people are insane and have full trust in each other. I wanna hop in for a ride or two

Rally drivers are a different breed
I swear rally drivers and co drivers are the next step in human evolution

The sport of the gods.

I remember doing a rally at night and having no headlights and that was terrifying
Супер моменты 👍👍👍
I would give anything to have such a co-driver, in rally it takes two
I still remember there's a scene in Monte Carlo during thicc night foggy with electric issue. Absolutely no visibility.
Imagine you are going so fast that you jump the car, but you don't even see the road. Insane.

Thumbnail while a good one, is actually the easiest situation the to drive imo.
When you low key have the map memorized

See the track: optional

their objective really is just to go fast. nothing else is going to stop them

Theoretically they’ll do fine because of the pace notes.
