I really like seeing you helping kids get into music. Kids who have an instrument at a young age that they can play without having to worry too much about hurting it are a lot more likely to really learn to play that instrument. Thanks for your video.
That guitars value is nothing compared to a child's smile when you give it back to them all fixed. That's worth Millions so you just became an extremely wealthy young man where it really counts! Best!
My son's first guitar was one just like that one. I did a neck reset on it he still has it along with 12 or more other guitars. Strange but holds tune really well. Got it when he was 2 he is 18 now.
First Class Caleb. This little guitar can rock or sing the blues. The young guitarist will really like this guitar now, does sound good . Cheers Kristy
Had a similar thing to this with one of my student's guitar. Older sibling destruction. Went back together though clamping was interesting. Used a band clamp. Also had to fake up a new nut. Probably in your case and mine a better glue job than it was at the start. Good string choice. Cheers from Australia.
Nice job, my niece has a guitar that is a child's type, but is really well built. Looks good, but the neck is too short. You can tune it, but it will not ever intonate. The scale is just all wrong. Cowboy chords at best.

Nicely done. "Tadpole" got great service, IMO.
Good job Caleb! Go Tadpole! Keep on rocking!🎸
You are the only luthier that I have ever heard Jerry recommend. High praise indeed!
Nice work! It actually sounds not too bad! Like a miniature blues box 👌
A labor of love... :D

You getting better on your pickin.
In general I'm not a fan of stickers on a guitar, but in this case I think they're perfect!
It's nice to see, you finally got your hands on a good instrument.
Now you know what to look for. 🤣🤣🤣 😁✌🖖
Outstanding. God bless you sir...
Cool video thumbs up. Caleb, Why not do a video on how to make antler settles with hand tools, not power tools? Thumbs up.
Hey caleb how's the shop build going? Have you worked on you acoustic you started at Mr. Jerry"s?
👍👍👍👍👍
was waiting for neck angle and set up. nice gift for a kid.
If nothing else, working on cheap guitars gives you some experience before attempting more expensive instruments.
Caleb has plenty of experience, working on expensive instruments.
You should watch some of his serious repair videos!
@@zapa1pnt Duh. I meant for newbies, not him.

All guitars matter.
LOL You didn't clean the fingerboard and oil it.
