You do a short circuit with your metal tweezers. I know its just for a short time but I would use plastic tweezers anyway.

You should take a pin on the strap lay the watch on flat surface to work on replacing the battery without holding the strap all the time is easier that way at least for me :) thanks for showing this.

Also, don’t forget press mode again adjust Subdial to 12:00 position(M in TMR) after setting minute and hour hands

Does this procedure affect the main waterproof seal
Terry Davis it doesn’t if you lubricate and ensure the seal is placed correctly back in place it will be waterproof

The mode is not synced after the battery change.
It is on STW while it showing the time.
Is there is a solution to that?
E22 here: www.libble.eu/casio-5475---gst-210/online-manual-750325/ - do the hand reset and use the mode button until you are in "sub" and use pushers until it's straight up
Nice one. This was super helpful buuut, not sure what I did… the small mode dial is inverted. Meaning, the arrow points the opposite direction to what the mode is. What did I do to cause that?? 😅
The small mode dial needs an extra step to be set correctly. Not covered here. Look at the tutorial for blue 5475, it is explained there better.
You should not have used metal Tweezer to hold battery +ve and -v.Discharging battery already
Does the brand effect the battery lifespan?

@Gi-Shock-Go Bonjour, tu es très mal adroit, tu fais une inversion de polarité en mettant une fois la pile à l'envers et après tu mets la pile en court-circuit avec ta pince métallique. J'espère que tu ne travail que sur tes montres personnelles et pas sur les montres de autres Je te souhaite aussi de t'améliorer si cela n'est pas déjà fait. Cordialement
