  • While traveling through central New York, I found a newly reconstructed trail to Carpenter Falls. This place is another hidden jem in the Finger Lakes Region. It was a nice stop and a great afternoon to explore!! Follow along!!

You know to take a flash light with you, you do not know the place. Thanks for sharing and have a nice safe day!

I usually have my head lamp… but when I got out to the truck I rolled up the windows and then remembered my back window on my cap was open too…so I went back to close that as the rain increased and I cut through the site instead of going back down the drive….lesson learned.

Beautiful. I used to take Barb here on dates back when we were teenagers. Whatever it took to impress her. Lol. The area was a lot different and a lot more rugged back then... literally untouched. We had to scramble down the ledge holding onto roots. They really spruced the place up. We also love Angel falls down stream. Sorry you fell and glad you didn't get hurt worse.

Very nice area indeed, I think I’ll make it an annual trip to the area. It was quite a brain fart on my end by not taking my head lamp. It took about 4 months for it to heal over. Believe it or not there still is a mark there……6 months later!!
