Why is the 3d print quality so low? I have never seen those artifacts on a 3d print.

I have salt annealed these printed parts as an experiment, this process ruins the surface quality but makes parts 95% the strength of an injection moulded part

@@VOLITANT ah that makes sense. Is the salt annealed plastic abrasive? I always wanted to do some salt annealing but I didn't want to ruin my oven. Great build bro.

@@ilyashahrestani3503 yeah the salt makes a rough surface finish, it shouldn't ruin your oven provided you don't overheat the plastic but it does take some experimentation to get the correct heat and time to anneal the parts
