I don’t use any glue’s or hair sprays. Before every print I wipe down the surface with acetone and a lint free towel, and I’ve never had a problem with adhesion. Hope that helps.

Grab a bar or soap and some sand paper. Sand down the sides of that drawer that is sticking and then run soap back and forth on it a few times. Should make it open and close a lot easier.

Can you go over setting up stl files, with or without supports, or custom supports for the back and trigger hole I'm good on the shell just not the inside
I'm probably not the best person to ask, try print shoot repeat. He's much more a professional than I am and ever printer is unique even if you had two of the same ones right next to eachother, they both might require different settings for the same print. It's just a lot of trial and error unfortunately.
@7ifestyle a lot of it has to do with your leveling and temp settings. Generic answer, I know. It just takes time and practice messing with it and fine-tuning it. Every device and filament can be different. What works for me might be catastrophic for you. Just keep at it. Also, function over form...doesn't matter if it looks bad as long as it works.

Have they developed a fully completed working pistol yet? Every I’ve seen so far is printing frames then going out and buying metal to complete. Never printed before does it matter what ender I get? Ender 3 people commonly say but they have the 3 pro and 5 others so. Just want to verify before I buy. Also don’t have a computer and would ideally like to do everything on iPhone and transfer files to SD. Is this possible? It has to be I just don’t know where to start
Ender 3 of any variety will get it done and yeah their are 99 percent completely printed firearms that you can print and they just require screws or bolts or a thumb yack or rubber bands but yeah.

Most of those look terrible and would probably break if you tried to shoot them but there was a couple that looked really good not gonna lie. The ones with the nice texture seemed very solid. I can’t wait to learn to make one. Trial and error right ?
these things are all functioning guns bro, there's even shooting competitions for these things. You can make them 90% plastic these days with just a metal barrel and some other tiny metal parts
I'm pretty sure I talked about it in this vid but it's different between filaments and prints so there's really some individual testing that needs to be done on your end unfortunately.
I haven't done any 3D printing yet but I own a machine shop and welding shop and I prototype For people who have inventions that didn't quite get it right so they come to me to help figure it out But I can tell what the best tool ever is going to be for 3D printing Leather crafters have tools called edge bevelers And that's what you need edge bevelers you can run them on the edges and it'll clean up and deburr everything Slick as snot
Unfortunately not man, I don't have the time for all that...just get the printer, some good pla+ filament, some hand files, and a shard flat head screwdriver and pliers and you should be good to start off.

How do you get the print to come out so smooth mine come out very rough inside the trigger guard and rail (any tips help)

I'm using a 64 gig, SD card on my ender. You just have to format it to fat32

What is the infill % you are using for your prints?
So I have never used glue before and print just fine. Smooth pei stock ender 3v3se plate. Just hit it with alcohol and it's good!!

Where do you get what? You don't necessarily cut the supports, you snap them off. Exactly knife and sharp flat head screw driver.

@somebumb1 pla+ is what's used most for frames. Works pretty well as long as your bed is level and settings tuned properly.

I use blue painters tape on printer bed 😉 anything sticks to it very well and it lasts a while. Give it a try. 😁

If you stipple your glock lowers, do they look and feel about the same as the P80s?
Stippling 3d printed lowers isn't really a thing. You can print them with texture built in though.

Try the hair spray. You'll be shocked at how clean and convenient and reliable it is when you find the right PVA spray.

If I can do it, so can you! They definitely aren't as sturdy as the real deal but if done properly, they hold up better than expected.
