When I first wore the shoes, they felt very comfortable. But after 2 weeks, I got a blister from the cushions at the heels. The next pair I bought a size larger and it felt much better. Shoes flip well and last quite long. Definitely the best skate shoes I've ever had!
I've only been skating NB's the last two years. 1010s, 306s, 574s, 440s and currently skate the Tom Knox 600s. By far superior durability compared to Adidas, Nike and Vans. The 1010s sole does not last as long as the upper, and probably has the weakest sole-life compared to the rest of the lineup, together with the 306s. Other then that they still outlast the brands mentioned.
I just bought these, same color. And skated them on Saturday. Im not gonna lie, I could not really feel my board. Like at all. Hopefully they break in nice. Love the shoe though, it looks so good
I think it's only the high number, expensive shoes that are made in the USA. Have some of these on order. Will check what they are when the come in. Would be surprised if they were made in the USA though. It might just be the $175 running/walking shoes.
my only real complaint is the tread/outsole wears out real quick, its real thin. the knit toe ones rip the seam up top compared to the all suede ones. on those josl1ns right now, a good inbetween shoe compared to the 808s and 1010s, gives you best of both shoes
These run a bit small for my wide foot. It was pretty painful on my side toe for a few days so I removed the thin ass insoles. Once they're broken in they are pretty comfortable. You might want to size up a 1/2 size if you have wide feet.
You can with a knife cut into the shoe, separating the panels at the bottom eyelet then cutting between the bottom eyelet and the rest, effectively widening up the top.of the toe box and then relying on the laces for necessary tightness, thus making them feel way more classic and form fitting at the junction of the toe box and upper panel
I cant get into NB's... This whole "the dad shoe is cool now" craze is so wack. Dad shoes will never be cool and that shoe is a damn dad shoe. I love Tiago but his 808 and 1010 are not good looking shoes at all. That said, that colorway is one of the better ones. Not shitting on you either, I do dig the content.

Killin it! 🙌love those slide to grind rail combos, too cool
Thanks yo !
Favorite shoe they have some great color ways. I always break them in at work before skating them.
Killing it with the daily uploads
Thanks yo! Trying too! 🙌🙏
Such a comfy good shoe better than his other shoe the 808 fasho
I think they serve different purposes. Both amazing shoes though
1010 was one of my favorite shoes I’ve had. 808 we’re stiff as hell and just not comfortable to me
I thought the 808 was badass . Super lightweight& sleek just no protection whatsoever
I think you're mixing up shoe models @@xandosworld
I literally say it feels like im walking on clouds. Haha you said it to!
Im on my second colorway. The forest green ones are so sick in person.
My one issue is the sole flatspots on the toes before any wear. The 808 sole is better to me for that reason.
Review some asics soon. 🤙
One of my favs I’ve ever skated in. Instant broken in feel, like a damn slipper. Sole lasted a longass time too.
Def seem super durable!
The best, i came from dunks too. Still skate everything but if i could just choose one...1010 for sure
The 1010’s are so good! I think I am on my fifth colorway.
Oh dang!
Wait till you skate them for a couple of days they start molding to your feet and get tighter 🔥
I’m from DC so we wear NB’s anyway. I had a pair of the 1010’s and they’re so dope. No secret I plan on getting a black pair
I find that the sole gets a lot thinner as time goes by. And I sized down half size with them.
What do you prefer the 1010 or Nike Ishods
I 🧡 them and the 808’s I have a pair of each I’m saving for the weather get nice in upstate NY. I’m 39 dad skate shoes rule
🙌💪🛹💯

Stick with those kicks..got your name on em dude
They pretty chill!
New balance are made in America in Maine idk which models or if all the shoes are made in Maine but they have to be pretty good being USA made
My 808's read Made in Indonesia.
Just like L L Bean or Timberland it's not made in Maine for a minute
those models will usually say where they're made on the tongue ex: Made in USA or Made in England

What about sizing? Did you get your regular size?
Yeah def true to size
Really think you would appreiciate the es silo or the es quatro and there would be a hundred percent chance kelly would how you up 👌🇦🇺
sick skatepark yo

What park is that?
Hemet skatepark
As much as I like Nike these are magic!
Ordered these yesterday. I didn’t wanna be new balance boy like everyone else but I gave in. Got black on black so I can hide dads shoes
Looks like a new balance shoe
6:10 is that Andrew Reynolds?
Right after the fs flip 😂
lol he stopped in for FS flip and bailed 😅
Don't listen to Dan, unless you're filming on his channel. 😂😂😂

They're not supposed to go with skinny jeans.
@@jrickets5309 Def need to be paired with mom jeans, not skinny. Or, maternity pants, like Dan does
wont be better than my Nuzzis circa 2018
Ayy! Classics !
@@spencernuzziare you going into the shoe market anytime soon? met my wife wearing nuzzis and now we want our toddler to have a pair
other than the 480 and the 574 every single shoe NB makes is sooooo ugly
