Gotta say, my 4s kraton has blown me away. I was nervous to try as I'm used to 6 and 8s rigs but damn, it was a good time yesterday. Many 30+ ft landings some good some bad and she's still perfect
I saved this video. Always good information. Looking at newer Outcast the last couple of days; glad about that that was missed on the transmitter. Be watching for sure..... You know Earl, I went ahead and order and paid for one...picked the bronze and should probably have it tomorrow or Friday. I'll be watching.
I've been there done that with new rc's. I've done that with the older Traxxas TQI remote, had it on 50%. Easy fix. Nice Reviews of arrmas new 4s trucks.
I always used the KIMBROUGH Servo saver. And it is amazing never had any issues. Nice vid. But what I have gotten from the two comparison videos (just my opinion). It looks like there’s more noticeable changes in the V2 Kraton. The only thing I really like about the outcast is the body. I just really like the longer wheelbase. And thanks for the good thorough comparisons between both versions of the outcast and Kraton
I personally took the kim spring and put it on the original saver. The kim one too much play but strong the stock one is weak but no play so i got the best of both worlds
Doesn't it always work out that way. Get super pump to do a video and it does not go as planned. Glad to see you got the fixed. Looking forward to seeing these trucks up against each other.
I was thinking, did having to crank that trim so far make it limit the max throttle point? But apparently there's a speed select switch? Thanks for doing the real work Earl.
Watched this before bed and forgot to comment and like. Was too worried and on edge to find out why the low power. Cool it was only a switch. Hope to see it do some flips and shizz now.
11:31 I was going to to ask if you had it set to 100% power. I had the same issue when I got my 3s Senton with those radios. I put a 4s system in a v1 granite. You can't do that they said on the arrma forums. lol Yes, you can! I have the same problem with those axels and shocks... Sorry ya had a rough run. At least they were both easy fixes! If you don't do this stuff as a hobby people don't realize the amount of time and effort you have to put into these things to keep them going. Unless you always play it safe. And that's no fun! Looking forward to round 2 Earl.
I agree, Arrma uses a lot of the same parts across each of their lines. It makes it nice to be able to swap out parts from one RC to another, on the other hand, it should also keep costs down for both Arrma and the customers. You need to send Guy some zip ties. 😂🤣
Yep I go though diffs and cvs every month or so so I have learned to stock extra cvs & diffs trying steel diffs very soon at $25 a pop for the plastic diffs every month & $35 a set 4 cvs that's $80.00 a month come on Arrma just put good parts on the 3s line their $405 that's a lot of cash to be fixing every other time I run it.

I have the same controller on my drag car came with it on the back I know you're way smarter than me when it comes to lease cars but those come with you know the 25 50 or 100% trigger if that switch isn't at 100 it won't give you 100% you know Full Throttle I know you probably already know it but

And I dont jump my rigs because of breakage every time so don't believe theses vids that alls well when their jumping the crap out of theses rigs that's B's their damaging the rear area nearly everytime.

I like them both like the upgrades but when u click option parts they have CNC DIFF GEARS. Why didn’t come stock with them?

Hmmm check the speed switch, and if it's on 100 percent, then I'd be testing that ESC, or check end points

Yes since I run so many brands I forgot arrma does this switch but it was the first time I had one shipped in the lower settings 👍👍
My notorious came with a stripped servo and horn.

Just cut down the 8s roof skid and cage to fit inside 4s works great

Haha the speed switch. I’ve seen it get even the biggest TH-cam rc guys. To funny was saying the same thing to the screen. Check your controller
