I think now as we are in 2022, there are a lot of things that got cleared out about zenya returning to eteri, zenya retired, she is unable to move or twist her upper body to the left and covid damaged her lungs and made her lose the small mass muscles that she had, she returned to eteri to be accepted again in the Russian media to have shows and sponsors cause she knew that she can't any more skate competitively, and her staying at orser at that stage of the beginning of the pandemic is just, not worthy anymore, whatever damage eteri has done to Evgenia in her grown-up child body it can't be reversed when she is an adult now, she will suffer from the consequences of the eteri methods of training and eating all her life.

Kostornaya is done with competitive figure skating ⛸. Did eteri really have to fire her tho? Younger generation is ready to go senior. Eteri doesn’t look back, she has her girls ready at least until 2026 olympic (that we know), i bet she knew who she wants to be on the russian team 2026 Olympic
The number one thing I hate about Eteri's coaching methods is that it greatly reduces the careers of the skaters that she coaches, we don't get to enjoy their skating long enough, it's frickin' sad as hell!!
It surprises me every time how deeply entrenched I am in Russian figure skating despite not understanding a single word in Russian.
