Arashi no Saxophone (Arranged) from KoF96 also goes extremely hard. This series is full of amazing tunes and this has continued through the entire time it's been in circulation
The reason why they went "more than the usual" is because this is the arrangement of the track meant to be sold on music CDs and for the CD based ports of the game. As for who or what ESAKA is, it's the train station in Osaka, Japan where SNK's HQ is located. ESAKA is also the theme of team Japan at least in the earlier games and in a way represents SNK itself. I really hope you get around to doing Goodbye ESAKA as that's one of the other highly regarded ESAKA arrangements out there.
Ohhh bro do I have KOF songs for you: 97 - Cool Jam (Arranged) 96 - Arashi no Saxophone 2 (Arranged) 96 - Seoul Road (Arranged) 99 - Tears (Arranged) 97 - Bloody (Arranged) 96 - Fairy (Arranged) 97 - London March (Arranged) 97 - Rhythmic Hallucination (Arranged) To name a few of my favorites. KOF music has always been on ANOTHER level compared to other videogames
This era of KOF always brings tears to my eyes, the music is beyond epic, uplifting, it makes you feel so strong, heroic, this specific group of SNK's musicians was incredibly ahead of their time, and this is just a little taste you've had Jesse, please let the KOF journey continue sooner than later
You know, I thought you'd already be aware of the jams on KoF, but now that I know you're not, London March is absolutely going on the list. And Stormy Saxophone is pretty much mandatory at this point. Good stuff as always. Always a good vibe.
The later released Goodbye Esaka from KoF 2000 is my favorite arranged track in the series, but there's so many other great ones. Both KoF and F-Zero have the best rock arranged tracks I've ever heard.
SNK was decades ahead in game music. Tunes from KOF 96 and 97 are absolute perfection, both in OST (original soundtrack, how the neogeo synthesized FM from cartridges) and AST (arranged, how the SNK sound team recorded them in CD with real instruments). But I have a special place for "Big Shot", Terry's theme from Fatal Fury3 and Real Bout. Listen to it even if not reacting.
Esaka its the name of the city this team is from, (Team Japan) (based on Osaka, where SNK was located back then) KoF centers on 3 person teams, so is always great to see how they incorporate the story and vibe of the team and each one's personalities in one single team theme This team is: Kyo Kusanagi (Center, the protagonist) Goro Daimon (Left, judo grapler) and Benimaru Nikaido (Right, flamboyant) Japan team themes, and Kyo's themes by proxy are named related to that city That's why the name "Esaka?" (Plus mystery) Also This is the aranged version, it has cleaner instruments compared to the chiptune arcade version (which still sounds incredible), and of course aranged, thats why they added the solo I still recomend listening both the OST and the Aranged versions of each song Gotta comend they went ahead to do aranged soundtracks ever sinces the start, and they are all fire. They stoped doing aranged versions around KoF02 - KoF11, following entries reached good sound quality anyways so they stuck to OST only so far Anyways, nerd talk over Glad to see you love it Hope to see more 96 and 99 are particularly amazing osts Plus some of their older songs from Fatal Fury or other franchices like Metal Slug or Samurai Showdown Highly recomend them aswell (From Fatal Fury I recomend "Soy Sauce for Geese" (weird name but oh boy you're in for a surprise) You'll find it sprinkled around a couple of KoF games aswell so you'll see its amazing
ESAKA? of KOF Franchise is simply the best music of any video game ever to this day. Period! I am a KOF fan from Pakistan. I used to pause the game, and plug in my headphones to my PSP just to hear this soundtrack again and again like a walkman. Before the boom of youtube. Used to Play KOF in arcades, had it on my GameBoy and all my Playstations. Street Fighter was nothing when compared with KOF.
KOF Music! I've been waiting for this moment since I first discovered your channel! Really really hope you eventually listen to Tears and Rhythmic Hallucination!
You pretty much nailed Kyo Kusanagi's (The headband, high school uniform) personality on the head: a cocky, arrogant, hotheaded highschool delinquent. Loves to enjoy life rather than attend his responsibilities as heir to the Kusanagi clan (as well as highschool) He's a fun character. (hence why I cosplayed as him in my profile pic) So is his rival, Iori Yagami. I wonder what you could possibly pick up from Arashi no Saxophone from KOF95 or any of his themes.
KOF's music is my favorite in all of fighting games. KOF'96's soundtrack is one of, if not THE best in the series. Also, Esaka is the name of a street in Osaka where SNK's based at.
Im so happy you can react to the ost of one of my favourite fighting game franchise. I also recommend "Tears" wich is Kyo's theme on KOF99 and its very different from his other themes
'96 is definitely one of the very best soundtrack-wise, though they're almost all great (2001 aside, though I still rock out to the NESTS theme from it now and then). 2000's soundtrack is my personal fav though.
Esaka? is the best piece for me from the KOF series as a whole. It holds great memories for me and my friends duking it out in the arcades. Others are great too. But Esaka? really gets you going for a comeback.
KOF is a GOLDMINE for amazing music man, especially the arranged soundtracks of the older 90’s games. You should really give them a listen. Your ears will thank you lol.
Can't go wrong with Snk music. Out of the Esaka series my favourites are "Esaka Forever" and "Goodbye Esaka". I recommened y'all to go check them out if you enjoyed this tune.
Obligatory: '95 - Arashi No Saxophone. '96 - Seoul Road, Rumbling on the city, Fairy, Get'n up. '97 - Rhythmic Hallucination. '98 - In Spite of one's age, XXX. '99 - KD 0079, Sadistic Eyes, WW III. 2000 - Goodbye Esaka, Trooper, Come up smiling, Wild Party. XIII - Arashi No Saxophone №5. XIV - Departure from South Town, Survivors under the sky, Saxophone under the moon (Arashi No №6). XV - Great Grit, How about a rrip to Pao Pao cafe?, Resonant Objects. All should be listened in Arranged/AST renditions (where available). P.S. Bonus: Garou Densetsu Special/CD - Blue Mary Blues MV (just do it), KoF '98 UM (this version specifically) - C62 Shirokuni.
I'm surprised you didn't know about KOF or Daisuke's music xD You Tekken people are crazy. This guys have been in SNK since forever, SHA-V and his people (I bet that guitar solo was his). King of Fighters is a 3vs3 game, and what you usually hear in the composition is a dialogue between the characters. I think the synth here were meant for Benimaru (the blonde guy with the funny haircut, very fashionable dude), while the stylish guitar is meant for Kyo, who happens to be the saga's main character. Sometimes they even put an acoustic for him. Saxophone is usually played for his rival, Iori. I think you should check the best track imo in the saga, that's KOF96 Fairy, the theme of Chizuru, and later check the theme for their shared team in KOF15, where you see the music jumping constantly between the stylish guitar, the saxophone and the more rockish guitar for Chizuru. The song is even merging little samples for the classic themes but put very well into the song. So yeah that would be my recommendation for KOF. King of Fighters '96 - Fairy King of Fighters XV - Fictitious or Real And if you want to check more some of the old Kyo tracks were also cool, he changed theme every year in the 90s. King of Fighters '99 - Tears King of Fighters 2000 - Good Bye Esaka Oh yeah, Esaka. Esaka is a neighborhood in Osaka, where the SNK headquarters were situated in the 90s. They were very prideful of their city and neighborhood, and the KOF main characters team stage was usually in some place around the neighbourhood, very close to their headquarters and their big arcade hall, NeoGeo Land. SNK went bankrupt in 2001 and they did a legal trick where they had to start from zero but they saved all their IPs after going to court. They had to change their name to Playmore and their building and everything, but 15 years later they changed back to be SNK. They are no more in Esaka, Playmore had its headquarters in Suita, another neighborhood, but not far away. So that's the reason of that song title in KOF2000, it was the last game made by old SNK and they didn't know what was going to happen at that time.
this man needs to listen to QT★@ngel ASAP! for me this is one of the most hype songs of the series, even if it's a loop with 1:20min lengh at best, but I still love this one
I Highly recommand you to listen to old neo geo Games. Before 96. There are TONS of really really intersting chiptune OST that try to sound like real instruments. Escpecially bedore 96. They were super creative so don't listen to re arranged stuff Stuck to the original soundtracks. KOF 94: Brazil Level Theme (so metal ! ) Samurai Showdown (hearthquake stage ) Art of Fighting (John Stage ) Last resort , Magician Lord etc.. Chip tune at its pick! 🥰.
Rhythmic Hallucination is the best song of the entire series. IMO that's the main reason why the Orochi team keep returning despite being, well, dead since 97 (not anymore, they got better).
Why listen to a remix that has less adrenaline (which is exactly what you're looking for, adrenaline) when you can listen to a version with REAL instruments and improves any aspect of the original?
Arashi no Saxophone (Arranged) from KoF96 also goes extremely hard. This series is full of amazing tunes and this has continued through the entire time it's been in circulation
The Arranged versions of this game OST rocks so much. I hope he reacts to Dust Man, Fairy and Trash Head as well.
Can Your React To The Demo Version Of Open Your Heart Its before crush40 worked for the song
@@NotTENSH Who are you asking?
I put it in daROOOOOON PLACE
All Iori themes goes real hard. But especially Cool Jam which is probably one of the best versions
The reason why they went "more than the usual" is because this is the arrangement of the track meant to be sold on music CDs and for the CD based ports of the game. The KoF music iceberg is one I definitely haven't dove deep enough into. I remember lots of tracks when I played at the arcades as a kid, though.
Esaka its the name of the city this team is from, (Team Japan) (based on Osaka, where SNK was located back then)

Glad to see you love it
Hope to see more
96 and 99 are particularly amazing osts
Plus some of their older songs from Fatal Fury or other franchices like Metal Slug or Samurai Showdown
Highly recomend them aswell
(From Fatal Fury I recomend "Soy Sauce for Geese" (weird name but oh boy you're in for a surprise)

Fighting games music in general is amazing, please continue your wonderful exploration. Shout outs to all my FGC brethren.

The era from KOF 94 to 2000 is incredible when it comes to music, great to see this reaction and hope to see more of the series here!!
They is actually some really sick music from KOF! also always loved Kyo's design and move set! :D
KOF's music is my favorite in all of fighting games. KOF'96's soundtrack is one of, if not THE best in the series.
Also, Esaka is the name of a street in Osaka where SNK's based at.
Welcome to kof! My reaction recommendations:
- Arashi no saxophone
- bloody
Love the enthusiasm of your reviews, some deep takes on the notes & attention to detail is top tier 🤙 love your channel my dude 🤘⚡
Im so happy you can react to the ost of one of my favourite fighting game franchise.
I also recommend "Tears" wich is Kyo's theme on KOF99 and its very different from his other themes

'96 has most of the best tracks in the franchise, by far. Iori's Team and Chizuru's theme is also totally bangers
This man needs some KoF13 OST in his life.
This man needs Esaka 94, Fairy and some kof11 music
Damn back in the day KOF songs were very heavy, this is one in my top 5 but my favorite is rhythmic hallucination from KOF97 it's a blast. Cheers.
Oh I highly recommend the song Kuri Kinton Flavor from King of Fighters 14. It's so good.
almost all the arranged tracks from SNK are incredible.
MORE KOF ARRANGED MUSIC
MOOOOOOOOOOREEEE
Never gets old
KOF is a GOLDMINE for amazing music man, especially the arranged soundtracks of the older 90’s games. You should really give them a listen. Your ears will thank you lol.
Oh man, ESAKA is amazing! Loved your reaction, hope you do "Sunrise on the Train" from GAROU: Mark of the Wolves!
Can't go wrong with Snk music. Out of the Esaka series my favourites are "Esaka Forever" and "Goodbye Esaka". I recommened y'all to go check them out if you enjoyed this tune.
Obligatory:
'95 - Arashi No Saxophone.

I recommend "Tears" from KoF'99
Man, that track is my absolute favorite KoF music.
Gonna need Goodbye Esaka recommended ASAP, and then while we're on the SNK train, gonna need Midnight Wandering from Metal Slug 3.
Another banger song.
oh this is a nice one ! some SNK fighting games musics are awesome :)
the real bout : Garou densetsu are awesome to if you want to check ;)
Get ready to listen to a handful of bangers! KOF Baby! 🤟
Beginning of the deep dive into the SNK themes!?
I'm surprised you didn't know about KOF or Daisuke's music xD You Tekken people are crazy.
This guys have been in SNK since forever, SHA-V and his people (I bet that guitar solo was his). So yeah that would be my recommendation for KOF.
King of Fighters '96 - Fairy
King of Fighters XV - Fictitious or Real
And if you want to check more some of the old Kyo tracks were also cool, he changed theme every year in the 90s.
King of Fighters '99 - Tears
King of Fighters 2000 - Good Bye Esaka
Oh yeah, Esaka. Great reaction! I would also recommend Fairy (Arranged) from KOF
This is my favorite track from King of Fighters
this man needs to listen to QT★@ngel ASAP!
for me this is one of the most hype songs of the series, even if it's a loop with 1:20min lengh at best, but I still love this one
take a look at the song "fairy" also by kof 96. it's amazing
Rumbling in the City. Also from 96
And Seoul Road and Fairy, also from 96! Basically, listen to 96
Oh man! I hope you're ready for the flood gate of bangers you've just opened. I'd recommend In Spite of One's Age 98'.
KOF 96 has some of my favorite OST in Fighting games, this,Arashi no Saxophone and Trash Head.
You should also react to Esaka Continues and Goodbye Esaka from King of Fighters XIII
You need to listen "Bloody -- New face Team" (Arranged Version) From the KOF97 it blows your mind!
Kof96 have so many good bangers
If you're starting on KOF please listen to Tears KOF '99 Arranged you'll love it
Should listen to "midnight wandering" or the "into the cosmos" both from metal slug. SNK games back then had awesome OSTs.
Esaka fo life
The King of Fighters '97 - Bloody is a master piece!
King of Fighters has some of the best fighting game themes of all time
On top of what everyone else said, I want to recommend Desert Requiem from KoF 95.
All the 90s arranged KoF OSTs are amazing. Only fighting game OSTs that go harder than them imo is the SF EX series.
KoF 99 Arranged OST - Tears
Love to see you enjoy Esaka?; KOF music is what I grew up on. :D
Oh yeh KoF time!
You should definitively react to all Terry Bogard themes, they a such underrated bangers
You're gonna catch a million recommendations for KoF music, but I'm gonna go a little outside the lines and recommend Fairy from KoF '96.
Never thought I would hear someone say Esaka is beer drinking metal. Don't know how to feel about that one.
I Highly recommand you to listen to old neo geo Games. Before 96.
There are TONS of really really intersting chiptune OST that try to sound like real instruments. Escpecially bedore 96. They were super creative so don't listen to re arranged stuff
Stuck to the original soundtracks. KOF 94: Brazil Level Theme (so metal ! ) Samurai Showdown (hearthquake stage ) Art of Fighting (John Stage ) Last resort , Magician Lord etc.. Chip tune at its pick! 🥰.
Can Your React To The Demo Version Of Open Your Heart
Kyooooooooo
KOF ost have amazing music to beat the shit out of your friends
Do more Yakuza ost reactions 🗿
You need to hear Ryhtmic Hallucination, Control Crisis, Second Joker and Fanatic Waltz.
Rhythmic Hallucination is the best song of the entire series. IMO that's the main reason why the Orochi team keep returning despite being, well, dead since 97 (not anymore, they got better).
Add Trash Head to the list since it's also the Four Heavenly Kings playlist.
kof2002 cutting edge please
Why no 98 version? 98 version is way better than this.
Why listen to a remix that has less adrenaline (which is exactly what you're looking for, adrenaline) when you can listen to a version with REAL instruments and improves any aspect of the original?
