I have discovered that the best way to: Attract, keep and make a man miss you is acting with so much self love and self confidence that he doesn't have any power in our lives. We just let them participate

  • @Dee-mc4qg

Making him miss you is fine. But don't reach out first. If he misses you so much he can contact you first. Stay in your power. Be strong. Don't be needy.

@Patricia That's true. And if they do contact and claim that they miss you, it just means that they're lonely and have no supply to fulfill their needs at that moment.

I appreciate Matt's concluding comments indicating that if the original relationship was truly meant to be, he will miss you and want to reconnect, but if it was not meant to be, moving forward in this fashion may very well lead to meeting a new guy who is genuinely drawn to the upbeat, dynamic you. I think this distinction is so vitally important to recognize because perhaps your ex and you really aren't right for each other, no matter how nice/awesome you may both be as individuals.

My husband cheated on me and divorced me for the other women. After the divorce, I stopped all communication with him, I lost 30 pounds, changed my hairstyle, have dinner parties, go to karaoke evenings and simply rebooted my life. My ex now contacts me about random stuff, and he even told me he misses me. The best part is? I don't want him anymore!

This does work! When my bf And I broke up for 6 months. I tried these steps and more on a book I read... I focused on myself, gained independence and worked out 3-5x a week. I sent him a bday card saying I want all his dreams to come true and he was a great influence to youths (he is in education). He texted me, said he loved the card and he missed me. We went out on a date the next weekend-As I was busy this weekend plans with friends (wink wink* keep that mystery). We went to a county fair and had a blast. It was carefree and we laughed alot. We were like kids again. I wore an outfit that showed my curves and had no jacket. Yes ladies I did the "its cold out" he gave me his jacket. The rest is history. We are going on strong today-6 years together. Tips: Taking Classes, Part Time Job builds Confidence, Growth, Adventure and Meeting Others.

@favorite stark. I have a best friend from high school. Was her rule of thumb
When a relationship would end. She would give her self 30 days of alone time to recoup. Before moving on to the next relationship. She would call it her "alone time".
I on the other hand. I wouldn't waste any time moving on. I wouldn't sleep with them. I would just use these men to buffer out the hurt I was going through. Then when I was ok. I would keep them as friends. I would just make myself scarce. I didn't see myself hurting them. I just didn't think men had feelings and would be hurt.
When I got older it wasn't the same. Men do have feelings. I've had some who had no filter telling me how I made them feel. Then I felt bad.
However. I miss my younger self thinking men didn't have feeling.
I then had sons. Saw them going through range of emotions. When someone had emotionally hurt them.
I guess thus was my karma.
Thank you for letting me vent.

  • @andrea8320

With my ex boyfriend, I remember after 6 months of seeing each other he "freaked out" as i like to see it and sent a text saying he essentially needs some space and time to think and be on his own. I never responded and moved on with my life - focusing on friends, work and improving my life. It was a painful first 3 days initially as we talked almost everyday but i knew my value and wanted to be strong. So I didn't text him and gave him what he was asking for.
After about 2 weeks (basically enough time for me to be okay without him in my life and not think about him) he texted me a "Hi, how are you going?" message. The rest of the story isn't important but me allowing him the time and space to come back to me and not chasing him and making him miss what we had was the effective part. So definitely agree with a lot in this video.

self improvement! Mostly because it makes you you again. We all get a bit lost in coupledom. Finding yourself again is the best part of a break up. Not always to get back with your ex, but to enjoy life being with you again.
I have made new friends, found new adventures, discovered lost joys and built up my confidence. To be honest, that isn't to reconnect with my ex, but to reconnect with me. And lets face it, the only person you truly have a lifelong relationship with, is yourself!

Nancy, you're on target. I think Matt's advice is good if you are talking about good quality men. Do not know if I have known any.
Narcissist - and Multiple Personality Disorder can not be helped with this advice. If he drops the mask, it's over unless you are the idiot he thinks you are.
You may think of yourself as being that, because you have been tricked one more time. Only this time you could recognize the scheme a little sooner, broke your heart even more.
Quite scary, but the longer this kind of person is in your life the more painful to you when you have only one chance: get out for dear life.
And now again: pick myself up, dust myself off and start all over again...

Depends on the man and situation. Some guys won’t reach out or ask the girl out again if he feels she’s too above him. My ex always asked why I wanted to date him. I wondered why he’d say this. He had shown me his best side. Later, I saw what he was talking about. I guess that goes back to believing them when they tell you who they are.

Hi Matt, You are absolutely right. Very interestingly these steps are the same steps that my Bhagavat teacher tells how to solve problems in relationships. Never molest your partner by talking and trying to figure out what's wrong, but disconnect and grow within yourself communicating with friends and achieving power inside you. Once you feel you are calm and powerful only then you can return him. Usually ON THE ENERGETIC LEVEL HE FEELS IT and returns to you. But not when you are begging and feel miserable. THIS IS ANCIENT WISDOM what you just shared, GREAT JOB!

    • @Dee-mc4qg
      @Dee-mc4qg 2 ปีที่แล้ว

"Never molest your partner by talking and trying to figure out what's wrong,"....communication is not molestation. A good relationship is based on effective communication, if one of you doesn't have those skills or is the 'silent, witholding, stonewalling type', you can bet the relationship is gonna crumble even before it started for some people. I would never be with a flaky man, I learnt my lesson by being very strong and using self-love but it took me a lot to become this way. If he left you standing there, don't take him back. EVER. Unless its within a few days or weeks anything like months, years etc, kick them out of your lives and you find someone who loves, honours and shows you the respect you deserve.

Huge thank you Matthew. I recently went through a divorce and unexpectedly met a guy in a similar situation. We had instant chemistry and after 17 years of marriage each, it was like the blind leading the blind in dating. We both craved connection, but after a short time, he became wishy-washy. Sent me mixed signals. I realized he wasn't over his wife...and in fact, he told me he was torn (between what I don't know!) - but trying to figure out his head and heart, and didn't want to send me those mixed up signs. At least he was somewhat open, but it was so heartbreaking after being alone in a marriage for so long. Your videos are SO helpful! Can I say, you're my hero? ;-)

I’ve noticed when I tell guys my favorite musicians and songs ..every time that song or that artist comes on the radio I pop into their head. So my personal advice is be sure and mention, while you’re dating, songs that you love and artists that you are into because when you are apart.. and they listen to the radio and that artist pops on the radio you will pop into their head

this took me 30 years of practice to learn all this and I really like how he's not suggesting you be anything other what you are but be yourself respecting yourself loving yourself and the person you are with to try a tried and true method. hey if the man is right for you he'll stick around. works well even if you've been married for 20 years. I take time to be gone the weekend with the girls at the beach, well he knows I'm loyal but he sees fun and laughter and hey he really misses that he's not there, same when he's gone. you rock at explaining things from a mans point of view in words women understand. you rock. I've shared these videos with friends who really need to hear from a man other than my husband. and its a great refresher or reminder.

Great video! So helpful. And point #3 does not make sense to me. Should nt the man be the one reaching out to the woman. To me it will show me the guy is truly interested in me. Instead of me having to chase the guy to get him interested in me.

    • @brookeorfan9386
      @brookeorfan9386 8 ปีที่แล้ว +7

But by simply asking him a question you are not chasing him. I've done this and it actually resulted in the guy chasing me. I think if he misses you and sees your life is going well he assumes you don't want him anymore. So really you're just hinting that it's okay for him to pursue you!

I did that 30 day absence thing with my ex. It worked but only to an extent. I ginuinely repositioned my life to place my self in a good space to move on after our breakup. He texted me after about a month but it was scarce and unmeaningful. He only wanted to visit me at night which clearly showed his intentions and I found out he was dating a coworker of mine. It was a painful experience. I hate that I cared more than he did.

For Me I have a difficulty to play these ”relationship” games. In My opinion He will either Stay or Leave. I believe a Man and a Woman should have the Courage to be who they are always and that should be enough. For Me thinking about Waiting someone to miss You is funny. You will wait forever because intelligent Man and Woman with God given Wisdom do not need these. I understand human nature very Well yet these ”Mind games” mostly irritate Me because we should Always be enough. If we are not special to Our Loved One then let Him/Her go and move on. It needs confidence to see that You are Worthy of True Love.

stessa kimberli hi i know im not part of this conversation but i think anyone who misses you would should and not just say they miss you. Not that they need to move mountains for you but they would make an effort to reach out to you and check up on you. Whethet someone misses you because they actually miss you or out of their ego i think you would be able to tell. If things quickly go back to the way they were then he probably doesn't miss you. You also need to remember that some people are attracted to success rather than the individual experiencing success because it makes them feel good for whatever reason

What's really challenging is how to keep a relationship and handle conflict, doubts, fears, these are all real relationship challenges everybody may face with. What is the use to use all these games and tools to get the men or women you want but not able to really keeping or creating a beautiful relationship in a real matter?

Agreed with your points. I was dating a guy for more than 2 yrs. Was dreaming of marrying him and was really loyal to him, u know respect, support, etx. But, he had other plans as per his families wish. So, he let me go. I accepted that. Though badly heart broken, i gathered myself and move on in my life. I climbed up the ladder in my career and also met a guy who treats me like a princess. We have been together now 3 year. So, my ex realized his loss. He never achieved his plan anyways for which he had left me. Plus, his entire life got messed up with huge debt. Funny, he was checking if i still love him. Too bad and sad for him. I have already happily moved on.

My ex started contacting me again after about 3 or 4 weeks after I broke up with him. During that time period, I had to be emotionally strong not to be tempted to contact him. I like what someone said, just like working out and hurting afterwards cuz ur muscles will get sore, you also need to work out your "emotional muscles" as well. It's gonna hurt emotionally but you'll get stronger emotionally and will be able to handle any BS that comes your way. If you have a fear of ur ex seeing other people during ur breakup, well people are going to do what they want anyway. And if they really missed u and cared about u their other relationships are probably not gonna last.

And I advise people (ladies especially) is to see what else is out there. Don't just be fixated on ur ex. Once u find a man who respects you, is more financially independent, loves you more, then you wouldn't wanna get back together with your ex.

What if your train starts to move and he thinks if he comes back into your life that he may stop your train and he wants the best for you? So showing him your better off without him, could be a bad thing; that instead of coming back he may resort to backing off even if we wants you.
