Yes when it's at night and you have no idea there are views ahead. We talk over the radio. In this situation there are signs in the road warning everyone of what's ahead.
Amazing video If I may say what is your thoughts on cattle moving freely close to main roads?? For my thoughts it’s dangerous I’m sure there is a safer way for there to be no danger to drivers and cattle.
True true I live in Perth and driving up north you hear it on the radio or if you’re lucky will see them but I have read how dangerous they are at night or even around corners and coming down hills. And I have heard if you do hit them and the owner finds out who hit them you pay the cost or something like that. Ps I enjoy watching your videos lots of knowledge
They always have drovers who put all the cattle in a paddock close by so the only cattle you might see out wound be those wild ones who don't belong to anyone or who escaped.
If they are in the long paddock there is always someone with them (a drover) and there are signs out but hard to get people to read signs. Some road is unfenced and you have to be careful, those places are sign posted too. Those cattle looked like they were with a drover in the long paddock, it is getting dry up there. Jeff

Great video mate i just did the trip from Banbury to Gladstone pulling a 22ft caravan I'm assuming you went through Horrocks pass through the Flinders Ranges and on to Broken Hill how did you go through the Pass? Stay safe mate.
As I'm a road train I have to bypass Horrocks Pass and go down through Jamestown then through to Broken Hill.
Do you warn eachother when thear are cows on the road? Greatings from Holland.
Yes when it's at night and you have no idea there are views ahead. We talk over the radio. In this situation there are signs in the road warning everyone of what's ahead.
Amazing video
If I may say what is your thoughts on cattle moving freely close to main roads??
For my thoughts it’s dangerous I’m sure there is a safer way for there to be no danger to drivers and cattle.
I don't know exactly why they do it but I think it's just mow down the grass on ther edges of the road.
True true
I live in Perth and driving up north you hear it on the radio or if you’re lucky will see them but I have read how dangerous they are at night or even around corners and coming down hills.
Jeff
You got it Jeff

I can't read that
do you prefer the icepack (diesel engined) bunk cooler or the modern electric systems koolkat/piccolo etc..
I fit and repair these.
Oh cool. Where are your in case I need service? The electric is great but only at night or under 38 during the day.
Thanks for the video Johnno. How far can the new drone fly from the controller?
I don't understand your question
@@RoadTrainAdventures Johnno I wasn't probably clear in my question but when you are flying your drone how far can the drone fly away from you before it lose signal
Oh sorry. I need glasses. This new one can get up to 15km away from the controller.
I like the drone shots, ? On the spot mirrors they seem to block the bottom of the regular mirror does that bother you, I like them below the regular mirror or above the regular mirror. Another ? How does a person send you a picture. Thx
None of my mirrors get blocked by any part of the other mirror. I really like these mirrors. You can send a photo via my Facebook page or by email. See the About section on my TH-cam channel.
Great footage, loved the coastline shots. What’s the range from the base Johnny?
If you're asking how far this drone can fly from me, they say it can go up to 15km away.
good show but to short ,show us more of aussie m8.
Yeah sometimes I just don't take enough footage and other things I don't realise how much I've taken.
I wanna drive a road train. I'm from the US
Well come on over. We need more good operators.
Johnno have you got A/C in the bunk in the truck for sleeping during the hot days ?
For sure. I definitely need that for summer.
How do you operated the drone while driving .🤔
I use a function called Active Track where the drone will follow me.
For sure

Why do you like this one so much?
4:20 minutes in the great dividing range?

@RoadTrainAdventures ok I didn't know that
Very good
Where do you get the songs you play with the video clips that you show on here.
I've tried a few music subscription services. Artlist, Audiio and a few others
How many Km do you usually do in a year.
I did 233,000km last year
How do you drive a truck and fly a drone at the same time lol😅
I use a function called Active Track which does the drone automatically.
@RoadTrainAdventures that's awesome mate love your work save travels mate
Thanks again. Time for bed now
How much does the video recording impede on your driving time?
It doesn't because I can name up any time I use by driving later that evening.
