Hi Fin, another great video showing us your trucking life in Australia. Love the way you have settled into the way of life down under and love your commitment to doing a decent days work! Hope you enjoy the truck show and can show us some footage of your time there, as I am looking forward to Truckfest up here in Scotland in August. Take care and have fun.
Great video good to see a Manchester lad doing a magic job down under you took a big step going well done from a manc in Thailand stay safe and enjoy every day 👍
another great video mate. I have total respect for you coming over here and having a crack at trucking in australia looks like your going great guns. It was good to see round the back of Grain Corp at the POB. Its changed completely since the last time I tipped a load off there over 10 years ago and that was only in a truck and dog tipper unit road trains weren't allowed past Toowoomba back then. Looking forward to the next episode. Keep it shiny side up mate. Happy trails
Realy enjoyed this run. I lived in Moree in 1972 to 78. I am now in Brisbane, where I have been past 40 years. Done courier driving and was down at the Port many times. Keep up the good work. Wow the fuel is scary price for you big rigs now. An operator could easy go under with price rises.
Hey dude good on ya mate. I've been living in Austria for years, but I was running a night shopping operation for old railway sleepers out of Oakey back in the 90s, so I would love to see you drive into town, and snail it down the Toowoomba range, and up. Back down memory lane.
Looks amazing mate! How you finding The road train? I’m hoping to get my MC license in aust next year after my HC (I’m from uk h holding class 1 tanker driver)
love your videos lad will you be making a return to making videos anytime soon?? I am going on my WHV in august to do trucking how long did it take you to achieve the HC/MC licence after you arrived ??
Keep these coming bro loving your videos. Can you tell me what sort of pay your getting obviously not exact I’m not that intrusive lol, just a ball park for other brits contemplating doing the job?. How are you still finding your work out there?.
Pretty sure it’s the same as here in New Zealand 14 hours that includes two half hour breaks 10 hours rest, maximum 70 a week. BUT it’s all hand written log books so is rife for abuse 😂
@@bigneil8888 yeah paper logs seem like the way forward for that sort of distance driving 🤣 if you don't use your 70 over 5 days can you work a 6th or 7th?
No ..Do not get involved in trying to explain Australian driving rules, Especially when you get into the 24 hour rule. On the surface they look simple but they're not.
@@bigneil8888 Canada is 14 on duty, 13 driving, no breaks, 10 hour rest, 70h/7d. And if you go north of the 60th parallel it's 15 driving 18 on duty...
@@youngbritishoutbacktrucker Thanks for your response pal, I did a quick Google search on the matter and I'm bloody too old now I think unfortunately , I'm 50 and from what I can see the cut off id 45? Ah that's a shame
