Thank you very much for putting this video up here. I relied on it today to change the headlight on a 2009 Kia Rondo, and it went smoothly. Really appreciate you doing this!
This was so incredibly helpful! Thank you for posting this - saved me time, money, and frustration. Wish there was a way to send you $10 for your effort... going to look at your page now to see if there is.
This looks super-easy! I've had my Rondo for 8.5 years now, and this will definitely save me some money from having to take it to the dealer (again) to replace the bulb!
2nd time using this video. Change the driver side last time and passenger side this time. pretty straight forward but it always feels better to refresh my memory before diving in. Thanks!
Thanks for the video. I was struggling trying to change the bulbs on a 2008 Rondo and it never occurred to me to remove the whole assembly. Two little bolts and a little wiggling and it popped right our giving me easy access to the plugs. Finished the job pretty quickly after that and wiggled the assembly back in. Saved me some time and frustration on a Saturday afternoon. Thanks.
When I realized that it was to tight to replace the low beam bulb, I decided I should Google for a video. Your's is great, simple and well explained. Thank you.
Very well done video. Looking at the low beam location, I figured that the headlight assembly would have to come out, and this shows me how to do it start to finish. Great attention to the little details as well. Thank you very much.
I own a 2008 KIA RONDO and was surprised when i looked to replace my headlight bulb and saw it was impossible to replace without removing assembly. Thanks for the video.
Holy Moly, thank you so much! I tried using the stupid owner's manual and no way could I get to the low beam. I found your video and it took like 5 minutes to change out, but only because I didn't have the right size wrench (its bolts on the 2009) so I had to use an adjustable wrench.
Hey there. I failed my inspection for a couple things. One being my Drivers side headlight being out. I have switched out the high beam before with no trouble. My issue is that the round bulb right below the high beam is also out. I can't find what the bulb is called or if a replacement exists. Plus I can't pull it out. I'd appreciate any help. I called the Kia dealership and whomever I spoke to was a total waste of time. He gave me a number for the turn signal which is orange. This appears to be a small round clear bulb. Thanks in advance.
Some additional notes. Just replaced all bulbs in both head lamp assy's on 2007 Rondo. The small marker bulb just pulls out of the housing; no turning or twisting required; remove/replace the bulb; push back into the hole it came out of. The high beam bulb has a spring/prong keeping it in place; do not remove the screws holding the spring . Using a pair of needle nose pliers at the top of the spring, press down and move it to the side to release it; it will then pivot for bulb replacement.
hi Jim, Thanks a lot for this video, Please do you know how to adjust the light level itself for this car, i tried to go for someone to repair it , Twice till now but the light beam is not adjusted.
Pleasant good evening sir, I tried to change my 2012 kia rondo headlight bulb, by using your video as a tourial but when I tried to remove the bulb I hit a road block
walmart wont change these, because the wire. theyre like "theres some kinda electrical thing on the bulb" and no one in the shop would touch it! AHHH the millennial generation... Great at using MEMEs and emogees, but terrible at anything that would help them do things themselves. this despite being the TH-cam generation themselves. They spend the time watching stupid viral videos to laugh at, instead of coming here to learn what the heck they are doing, like I am right now.
I beg to differ... Here I am 25 looking into this DIY video myself just as well as you are. I know people just like yourself all you do is talk shit and put other people down. You are no better by putting other down.
I'm trying to find the 2009 Rondo headlight replacement video and TH-cam gives me everything but a 2009 and nobody else that does 2010's or any other year stops to tell you about the other light bulbs of the other years that are like this or how they may be a little bit different. TH-cam is useless, I didn't ask for anything but a 2009 and it gives me everything but a 2009!! Not your fault bud, I just hate youtube! those useless fucks!

Great video, thanks Jim. How about the fog lamps on the Kia Rondo? They seem alot harder to get to.

Sophia Harcourt where you able to remove the hole assembly?
Thanks man. Now I am more confident to change my own headlights rather than to pay exorbitant price just to replace one blown bulb.
+Patrick Lau Happy to help.If you need any other info let me know.
