Which Terrain Response modes did you use? Was the car in Low Range all the time?

No specific Terrain Response mode, I just engaged low range when rocks made their first appearance on the trail to have more control (and I was in off-road height at all times, of course.)

Is this the 4cyl or 6? If it is 4 what tires do you use? And if 6 what tire? Sweet,,,

@@georgetidd8972 6 cyl. Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac 255/65R19. That's probably the bare minimum you'd want in Death Valley, lots of sharp rocks just dying to slice through your sidewalls and chew through your tread... I would have felt even better with a stronger 10-ply sidewall / E-load LT tire, but they don't exist in a 19" size that fits the Defender, so moot point unless I downsize brakes and rims to 18" (which I might one day, when my factory warranty is up.) The Duratracs really surprised me though, much better than I expected, tough and grabby off-road but quiet and smooth on pavement. They look "noisy", but they really aren't very much noisier than the standard GY Adventure off-road tires that came factory fitted on my Defender - at least not yet.

@@ubonfante Thank you! I ordered the 20 inch…supposedly one can get more choice for off road tires like BF Goodrich…mine is ordered with the off-road package so I’ll see what shows up on the tires! Due in August !!! I cannot wait…switching from a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk to the Defender! Death Valley,,,,yes lots of sharp rocks!! How cool,,,,thank you for posting your adventures! I live vicariously through your videos! Cheers
