Thank you so much for taking the time to explain all this of this so well!!
So glad you enjoyed:)
I’ve been using sublimation for years to make my own fabrics for handbag. It has saved me so much money and also room in my sewing room. I don’t have a bunch of fabric just laying around wanting to be used…
Can I just say that I'm a tad envious of the room your saving!! 😁❤ I have fabric that I have forgotten about!
Yes! I'm at the point where I just want to keep destashing fabric because printing whatever I want in the moment is so much more fun for me.
Let’s be honest… you are the best! If this is the introductory video I can’t wait to watch the next one 🎉 Thank you so much for all the information ❤
Aww, thank you!
OMGolly this is way more complex than I was hoping. lol. But you explain it so well. Thanks, Brittany. I’m looking forward to Part 2.
Glad it was helpful! Getting started there's a bit to take care of, but then it's a lot easier to keep going :)
Wow thank you for sharing this information.
Yesssss!!! This... THIS is exactly what I've been waiting and looking for!!!!
Can't wait for part 2
Then you!!!! ❤❤❤❤
The view with the new software was good. And donut is absolutely adorable. 💕💕
He says thanks haha!
Thanks for going in depth with the explanation of sublimation.
Love the video and the glasses!
Love this a lot you are the best
Love the hair and new glasses
Love the new glasses. X
thank you sooooo much, I have been wanting to do this forever for baby bibs! thanks again!!!
You are so welcome!
Love this so much !! You really did great with explaining so much and im so grateful for it !!😊😊😊
Glad it was helpful!
I definitely need to buy this stuff now, lol.
Haha, it's a ton of fun.
This is awesome! I wondered how it all worked. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.❤❤❤. Donut is very cute 😻
Thanks for watching! :) Donut says thanks!
Thank you. Kids got me a printer and ink for Christmas. I haven't set it up yet. Will do hopefully this weekend. So very timely video.
Question what would be the best fabrics and where can you purchase them?
I love all the Hex reject prints just haven't purchased any since I didn't know how to use them. Can't wait to try. Great video. TY
Thanks :) I added a link for the fabric I use. You can get the white blackout fabric at JoAnns also!
Do you have a link to the 2nd part of the video where you talk about stabilizing the sub fabric for bag making?
looks like you found it :)
What are the settings you use for the 8550 using the cosmos paper and ink/
I have all of those same items
I follow their tutorial for installing the ink drivers - it's on their youtube.
Loved this video! 2 questions - 1: what fabric are you pressing on to? 2: You play WoW?! (please say yes LOL)
I added a link for fabric to the description. I use a poly poplin. And haha I was like "how'd she know?" Then realized it showed. I do :) Not much anymore, I used to play a ton.
@@BrittanyEmpurriumsame! Not as much time anymore but back in the day it was all the time! Then my daughter came lol😂. Checking the link now - thanks!
Thank you. I have purchased polyester/poplin and where do you purchase the polyester linen? Is there a vinyl that can be sublimated? I have used Decoville Lite for stabilizing the polyester poplin - is there any particular stabilizer that you recommend? Thank you for the information. I make handbags and there are very few patterns for portraying African American realistic and comic images so very much interested in sublimating fabric. Currently, I make my own files. You were so helpful!
I use a poly poplin that is labeled for linens. I don't sublimate on vinyl because of the heat and time required. My Tuesday tote video going up tomorrow shows how I interface this fabric. It really depends on what I'm making though. That's awesome you're making your own files!
How often do you need to print something with 8550 so it doesn’t get clogged up. I’m on the fence between getting this printer or a dedicated Sublimination printer.
People say once a week but I've gone like 2 weeks without printing. I usually run a purge sheet and print head clean before I start again.
What fabric do you use? I've tried some different poly blend fabric but it didn't transfer near as bright as your did.
I added a link :)
Can you give written instructions for the hex reject
I might be able to eventually, right now the video will have to do tho :)
@@BrittanyEmpurrium thank you.? So can you put pictures on cups
Right now I'm not taking any custom orders for cups, just ones I already sell. Sorry I didn't get to your email yet.@@kathyreichard7029
I thought you could only sub on Polyester fabric. But you said cotton?!? Please tell me more!! 😝🫶🏼
Crap, did I? It's polyester!
@@BrittanyEmpurriumNo I’m wrong….. you said you also sell the prints on cotton woven bc you are licensed to do so. Not that you sub on it. My mistake! I guess I got alittle too excited there for a min. 😂😂
@@BrittanyEmpurriumBut I would like to know where you buy your fabric from. I tried it once but my fabric was so thin and basically see thru. 😢
Oh good, haha. Because I mix my words up all the time so I wasn't actually surprised.@@alexismckenzie3429
I added a link, but it is real thin, you have to interface it.@@alexismckenzie3429
Where's part 2? 😢
link in the description :)
