Oh dude I love working the snatch until it blows up! I'm also a massive fan of the two box snatch but I have to know: Are squat thrusts a good way to warm up a dead snatch?
Aside from that though, can things like squats, overhead presses and snatch exercises have a negative effect on hip impingement, knee bursitis and patellofemoral pain syndrome? I have all three, I'm 45 and my body's a wreck from the hips down.

Sounds like you would benefit from (1) yoga classes one or two time per week and (2) follow knees over toes guy.

I always wondered about this! I feel like every MMA or boxing highlight reel, b roll etc has the fighter jogging or doing sit ups. Like damn y'all never work on wrists? Seems like it'd be important lol

When he is doing the hang snatch below the knee, it looks like his shoulders are already behind the bar. Is this the correct position to be in? I honestly don't know. Maybe it's the camera angle.

To me it also looks like the knees are forward quite a bit.

Why does it look like some of the athletes need more training on their tear drops, their knees keep losing control and balance on the snatch? Like they need more leg extensions or do more lunges to strengthen their lower thighs? Curious or is it just me?

Explosive strength means low resistance with high velocity, i.e a jump or a throw, I think the title should mention speed strength instead
