At the end you showed the pulley turning but you did not engage the clutch. Did the clutch work OK?

This procedure is legit. I just finished mine and it worked. There's just a couple of things of note:
    1) The new clutch/pulley kit with the 10mm screw, it will come with some washers. These washers must be installed INSIDE the clutch to give it clearance, or else you will still have a nice grinding noise
    2) In order to tighten that screw properly, there is a tool you can rent from an auto parts store specifically made to hold the clutch in place while you tighten
    3) make sure to wipe everything clean before installing the new stuff(maybe even use carb cleaner) because no debris can be in between the clutch and the pulley or it will grind
    THANKS FOR THE VID!

Excellent video...tapping on the coil did not work for me...ford calls for coil to be bottemed at compressor shoulder...doing this caused pulley to not line up with compressor shaft and coil. This needs to be squared up. I made a cheap puller by using old clutch and a 4.5 grinding disc with center hammered out to pull on coil evenly. Only went to rust line on compressor...pulley slid right on after.. Ty for this video

@@thomasfixit7931 Yea I got it done. What a PIA that was! I have a 04 Expedition 5.4l and it was a little different. Even though I have several straight and bent split ring pliers, getting just the inner split ring off took about 20 minutes because I couldn't really see or get in there good. Also was fortunate to have a 3 jaw gear puller to get the pully off. Getting the new pully on was the hardest part. I had to bang it with a piece cut off wooden broom handle and my hammer about 50 times because it would only slide on 1/32" to 1/64" each time. Thanks...
