Yes. Years 1990-2005 use the same mounting points. The frames are a slightly different configuration due to the 99-05 glass top, but can be transplanted onto older models. Miata dot net has a garage section that shows which pieces can be moved between generations.
Thanks David, Glad I could help. Now that I have a job at a dealership, my next goal is to grab another project car and put the parts discount to good use.
Nice vid, I noticed your seats are quite faded, when we restored and connected our headrest speakers we used black vinyl paint on the seats to give them a much darker finish, it made quite a difference to the overall look of the interior.
@alfadhli007 I'm still going with the series. It's just that I'm broke after paying taxes and need to save up for whatever the AC work will cost me. I should have something in the next few weeks.
Thanks for posting this. If you have other clips related to the soft top installation, could you point me to your link. I haven't been able to find it.
I watched this video series in hopes of getting a better look at the rain rail. I think I might have to replace mine. I'm getting some water in the trunk (condensation, really). I cleaned out the drain holes and still nothing. Anyway: How is the rain rail attached to the frame? I read somewhere it was special connectors or something. Can you confirm that?
I just complete replacing the top by following your instructions. Mission accomplished. Thanks soooooooo much.
Glad I could help. Thanks for watching.
