Robot discussed this. The people who had this problem were not giving it enough time to let it warm up before running at full throttle. It’s an Italian thing. Like my Fiat500. Read the manual.
@@ramblinjack294 Not warming up not factoring consumption. This is a design problem that Piaggio does not want to address. Most like piston or rings material finish or clearance issue. I now have 7000 miles and problem better but not fully eliminated.
Dear Friend, I saw your review, very interesting. I would like to ask you a question. I have a Primavera 150 year 2017, and I am with the intention of changing it for a GTS 300. I was already decided to buy a green GTS300 Racing sixties, since I really like the design.(Not the rims color) But...I found out from the local dealer... That in my country, the new Vespa GTS300 (that were in the USA in 2022) arrive in next month (July). The new Vespa models will be approximately US$1000 more than the previous ones. (Both 0 km) So when I found out that the new model was coming, keyless, with a new front shock absorber, and some other aesthetic thing, I would like to ask you: Is there a really considerable difference to wait for it, or if I like the Racing sixties, isn't there a change so important as to pay those U$1000 of difference? What would be your suggestion? Does anyone else who has used both justify waiting and paying the difference? Excuse my English and thank you very much in advance
All scooters without a manual transmission suck. Having to replace the belt every 6000 miles is a game breaker. Why would anyone want a scooter like that , go back to the manual transmissions without the crappy belt drive.
But when it breaks it will leave you stranded, that's what was great about the old Vespas , you could go anywhere with them and you could change the tire if you had a flat, you can forget about changing a flat on these scooters , you have to take parts off to take the tire off , plus the have the bolt on lugs that you need an impact wrench to get off and they do not come with the spare anyway, there was a lot of thought that went into the old scooters, they were practical , the new ones are not.@@HarveyWallbanger-ho2cq
Worth every €! A jewel. Thanks for the English language
Nice that you pointed out all the differences.
This is a fantastic bike...if you want a GTS get the 300. These are solid scooters, feels powerful and nimble
Are the scooters very maneuverable?

Is the high oil consumption issue resolved 150 ml every 500 600 miles

Fell asleep listening to this.
My 150S Wins.
I hear you. I currently ride a 150 Kymco Like and it seems to be the perfect engine size but I often wonder about the 300's.

Lot of european countries require 125 for learners. In uk you get provisional license, do one day course, then can ride up to a 125cc for 2 years
My belt has 7400 miles on it
