Could you react to some EPMD crossover, tribe called quest check the rhyme, definitely some OutKast, Cube, Scarface
Got a new rabbit hole for you. These girls are amazing. STMLT is the name of the group.
Respect Knox for revisiting these old classics , shows his love for the culture 💯
I feel that BIG did write this before Pac got shot however I also feel Puffy and Bad Boy pushed to have it drop after Pac got shot to build up hype, record sales, not paying attention to what it could and did lead to. They didn't take Pac's state of mind when they dropped, how he would respond and that he was Thug Life
Well said 👏
I agree. Puff had the reason to drove a wedge. Had a reason for both attempts. Had a reason to get nog eliminated too once he figured out who got pac shot.
2Pac took that bullet because of what he saw at the moment of the shooting. Anyway, he was too sensible with it.
Exactly
This comment is not related but it’s about Eminem I feel that Eminem took massive inspiration from BIGGIES lyrical abilities and flow
Both Pac and Big were exceptional artists. Much respect to Knox for reacting to this.
Love the legends and their music since young
Still listen to 2Pac in uk all the time the true 🐐 in my eyes
Biggie is the GOAT
Yesssss!!! The GOATs we lost to this beef was so tragic. Thank you for this, Knox. 💯❤ Being a teen during this time…it’s so sad to see how this history has been lost over time. You’re also doing a great job at adding context to the history.
Honestly, I feel like Who Shot Ya was so frickin brutal and if it WAS a diss, I'd consider it even more brutal than Hit Em Up (ik for Pac fans this is unacceptable) but his LYRICS are just man.... Those lethal bars, that commanding presence etc. amazing.
Also, I get what you're trying to say and defend Pac's point of view. But almost all legends even then called him crazy for firing up the beefon such a huge level on such baseless claims. Even now many say that.
I honestly think Biggie was just forcefully dragged into something he never wanted to be a part of.
I find "Hit Em Up" to be have been super trash, contrary to most ppl who just adopt the popular opinion bcuz they have no thoughts. Even more so, Hit Em Up was a direct "snitch song" meant to implicate Biggie and others in crimes from shootings to robberies. He did it in interviews as well.
Biggie is WAY better than pac, lyrically and personally
I’m here for anything old school! With big and pac! Awesome 👏
Imnot into rap songs, but B.I.G. shot ya is just so smooth.
11:35 This line pissed Pac off too. "He calls himself a don but can't tell me who did it?"
I always wished they could have put their differences aside, made their own record label, and took over the whole dang industry!!!!!!!! All while possibly bridging the gap between west coast/east coast... I LOVED them both!!!!! Both had their own set of songs that will always be in my top faves!!! Prayers and R.I.P to 2 of the greatest to ever do it in the rap game!!!!
Old school new school need to learn though was a line at LL cool J, LL was in the studio when Biggie recorded it, there's a few different interviews clips of LL and a couple others talking about it, great reaction as usual, love from UK 🇬🇧
High school nostalgia with this
I love pac & biggie grew up with them both. It’s amazing when you think about how their music touched the heart of a lil girl in England & many round the world 🏴 sad they died too soon. Can you please do more Eminem breakdowns no1 dissects his lyricism like you do 🙏❤️
You're THE FREAKING BEST MAN!
Biggie was a storyteller and Pac was a poet. Both the best of the best.
Biggie was a poet pac wàs an angry woman
Can’t believe people still try to make this beef even though the artists themselves say it wasn’t there. Junior Mafia was in the studio with BIG when this was recorded, and say it was shots at LL Cool J. They recorded this the night Jason’s Lyrics film was released, with LL in the studio, and then LL dropped “I Shot Ya” as a response to this. Biggie said it wasn’t about Pac, Diddy said it wasn’t about Pac, Junior Mafia said it wasn’t about Pac. The only people that thought it was about Pac was people around Pac that wanted the East/West beef to continue.
I’m not denying the interviews and the intention. I also don’t believe it was aimed for Pac. The issue tho is the timing of the drop and the failure to consider Pac’s mindstate after the release. Unfortunately this added more to Pac’s fire and helped to fuel Hit ‘Em Up, and we all know where it ultimately and unfortunately ended up for both of them.
@@KnoxHill I think most of us, in our love for Pac, make huge excuses to make his side seem equally legitimate. Imo it was reckless from him from the start. Every legend outside of Deathrow was calling Pac crazy for instigating the 'beef' way beyond control on baseless claims. People started getting hurt because of this. And a major part of it was Tupac FEELING that he got shot by certain people.
I think Biggie was dragged forcefully into a situation he didn't want to be in from the start. Made him an outcast in the other coast and ruined his personal life as well. I sympathize with his side more tbh. Pac was used by Suge and the 'thug life' flag bearers who gassed him up to cause problems and he just became crazy.
@@mohash21 I don’t think Bad Boy’s hands are completely clean. You have a team of people reviewing all releases before they go out, clearing all publishing rights, etc.. I think Puff saw it as a slick way to capitalize on the drama - knowing that a track titled “Who Shot Yea” would stir even more interest given Pac’s allegations. What they all failed to gauge was Pac’s side and how this track would be responded to. Seems like a typical label move to capitalize on an event for clicks that unfortunately spin way out of control, and yes Pac is much to blame for that. But I’m not going to give Puff a pass here either
@@mohash21The points you are missing is Tupac was in Jail at the time and getting told that Bad boy was involved how easy would it of been for them to visit and squash the beef or send someone e.g his best friend at the time stretch ( who was also there at the shooting) that they had nothing to do with it but instead Stretch or none of Bad boy visited and stretch started rolling with Bad boy .
Personal I think Biggie or Puff had nothing to do with it but knew who did it e.g Haitian Jack , Jimmy Henchman and had to take there side out of fear
Pac was feminine,I despise the man
I love the way you break down bars in these old songs you need to react to some Big L he was crazy back in the day 'Put It On' is a great start to that journey
I respect and can see you can flow with the beat understanding this helps with understanding the song on a different level.
Respect. I want him to dive more into MD Doom the punches and doubles are seriously impressive from that man and Knox loves his brain getting worked
RIP Both Legend,Please next react Tupac Troublesome 96
I was there.... Nobody ever thought this song was about 2pac... I mean nobody
Pac was sassy asf
You are lying 😂. I grew up in that era, everybody thought it was about 2pac. Where are you from and how old are you?
@@roylle6346No 90's rapper was sassy. They didn't exist until this new generation.
@@jsanders9975 how would people think its about Tupac when he spoke about his OPPS daughter, where is Tupacs daughter?

The Serj Tankian remix of this song also slaps.
just like serj and tech9 , he just knows how to mix with hip hop!!!
Yo knox, eventually i would love to see a Makaveli Tha Don Killuminati Album Review.
Knox, I'm new to your channel sorta. But love your break downs. You getting likes and views over here.

We need more biggie songs Knox 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Biggie smalls is the illest 😊
The GOAT
Need a review of Long Kiss GoodNight there might be some cool references. Love your videos btw.❤
It makes sense though how raw and wild big got in his rhymes, I mean his first feature ever was on a Crustified Dibs aka R.A. the Rugged Man track called C*nt Renaissance
Also, speaking of Rugged Man would looove to hear your breakdown of Legendary Loser, Wondering, E.K.N.Y., slayers club, Gotta be Dope, Dragon Fire...or literally anything from All My Heros are Dead
2 pac - hellrazor or ballad of a dead soldier - love ya bro!
When this dropped that summer in Brooklyn, everyone played it everywhere. It came out as a single and sold out everywhere, so if you had it you was the plug.
Facts! In Philly too! I had it. It was the bside of Big Poppa! Sold out immediately. 💯
You gotta react to Victory. One of the greatest hip hop songs ever made.
I never noticed before that 5 shots let off at the end of the track, and PAC was shot 5 times. Wonder if it’s just a coincidence. 🤔
pac was never shot 5 times.
@@Raiders-wm5kb he was though, November 30th 1994 outside his studio, right before he got locked up. That’s what sparked the whole thing between them two
Big Pun ft Fat Joe Twins! Is an old school classic Knox
Since you're going back to the old stuff, can you react to Not Alike by Eminem? Many of the bars go over people's heads and you're the best at breaking stuff down, especially since you know more than just the music
He already did that song
@@RaptorsFanMarek you mean the livestream he did?
Knox ..check out (Die Slow) by 2pac ..fire 🔥🔥🔥
I'd love to see it you go back and cover Set it off by Big Daddy Kane
Need to here you react to what’s Beef by B.I.G
I don't think it's a coincidence that in who shot ya,there was 5 gun shots
I also thought about the shot.
You should react to the World Star Halloween Cyphers 2.0 3.0 and 4.0
i heavily recommend reacting to Let's Move by The Perceptionists, childhood classic from Need For Speed Most Wanted 2005, maybe not the best bars ever, but the beat (and im not afraid to say this) is one of the best beats of the early 2000s hip-hop
For context, in that era going to jail was the end of a rapper's career - Slick Rick
5 shots... Pac shot 5 times. Maybe it was written before, but someone really wanted Pac to go all in.
Hey knox, I've got a rapper suggestion for you. Cam Steady is really good he technically does nerd core music, but you couldn't tell based on his songs alone. I think you'd like him, plus he does quite a bit of Pokémon stuff, and I know how much you love that.
Biggie n diddy were in the lobby pac went up to the studio n got robbed on the way or did i just get them mixed up!?
Biggie was upstairs, pac got robbed in the lobby
FYI 6 bullets were shot in this song… Pac was shot 5 times…

It’s like it’s Biggie vs Tupac! It’s no biggie I smoke two packs!
I really you want you to break down long kiss goodnight and it continues with the beef between biggie and pac
More biggie pls❤❤❤❤
The common denominator is PUFFY!!! PUFF DADDY, DIDDY WHATEVER YOU WANNA CALL HER!
There was 5 gunshot sounds in that section also which i'm sure Pac caught
Knox can you please react to Por Mi Mexico Remix.
To this day I say Puff used this track to try and take out Pac and make Biggie the fall guy when the hit failed.
You're right. And this wasn't a dis. It was Biggie's Way of telling Pac Bad boy is behind this. It's a cryptic message The line Big literally says, "rewind this Bad Boy's behind this". The use of apostrophe shows one person is behind this
@@prestonhartlief but the way Fluff played it with the timing and everything it looked as though it was an admission to the hit
@@mstwntd00 look at it from this point of view. Everyone thought Big was involved. The man responded in the only way he knew how. You can literally segment it in to two. The first half of the song is an encrypted message to Pac. Letting Pac know that Bad boy is behind this. The second half of the song Big tells Pac if it was him, he would have pulled the trigger himself and Big would have been the last face Pac saw
Or it can mean *OLD ----> school(verb) -----> New School(Noun)* they need to learn though.
can you do Outkast for throwback?
Brooklyn's Finest is also a song by Jay-Z featuring biggie
Please check out in the heights
Big is on record saying Who Shot Ya wasn’t meant for 2Pac.
React to 2pac holla at me
You should react to promotion by Eminem. Wait, did you already react to it? I’m gonna check.
I don't think I've done that one yet
@@KnoxHill it’s on music to be murdered by. It’s the first song on there. I thought it was just an intro skit but I was wrong and it turned out to be an entire song.
Premonition?
@@TK-sn9ug yep. He does not say promotion once in the entire track. So Eminem does make songs with misleading titles.
@@KnoxHillI second this can we please have more Eminem breakdowns 🙏
When r u reacting to juice 1h freestyle?
These songs are eerie in retrospective. Puffy is weird as hell. Hit em up is a bad ass song, this is creepy. Pretty sure those five distinct gun shots would also be a heavy implication. They said five too earlier somewhere.
ther's a hispanic spanish rapper with tupac message was killed at venezuela nad would be the realest rap you ever heard, his name is Canserbero, listen to (de la vida como pelicula - canserbero ) you'll find subtitles but I heard you speaking spanish before hehehe
Notorious was a masterpiece. That was the perfect Biopic
maybe not being u.s. native, i misunderstand some facts... everyone prays b.i.g. and back in early 90s everyone talked about him as superstar.... but he really never "exploded" on the market, isnt it? ok, he had 2+2 albums, some collaboration, but for me the fact is that he kind of lost the battle against many, west & east... maybe the scenario of shooting tupac was "inspired" by some talking around the lyrics already written and the drop of this song was to booster the career of b.i.g.
amazing song to breakdown as always but still waiting on that guilty conscience analysis
Parts of this may have made before Pac got shot. But "Who shot ya" was added later.
During the skit in “Who Shot Ya”, 5 gun shots were fired in the song. Which is how many times Pac was hit. I do believe that BIG wrote this before then (though Puff clearly pushed to have it released), but that part gets me every time.
It was six shots. Listen again.
He needs to react to glorbs white Christmas
I always heard Puff put this out when he did because it would get more ears on it if people thought it was about Pac.
Hi
Yo!
This track way better than the pac joint… if we’re forced to compare. Both bangers but biggie handled this 🔥 despite the intentions it sucks that rappers always gotta be shooting at each other. The rap/pop culture community mindset is fried.
Idc what anyone says, Puff had SOMETHING to do with Biggie's death.
this is not aimed at tupac, this was written before pac got shot, the biggie diss track is called LONG KISS GOODNIGHT
Hello everybody
How about the fact they play the 5 gunshots also. Easily for Pac to take that as a direct reference.
Diddy Decision
Rest Eazy Biggie ❤
@knoxhill could you do a review on ice cube no Vaseline
🇿🇦 Sup Knox? Can you please react to Pusha T Nostalgia feat. Kendrick Lamar 👍🏾💯😏
Tupac - bomb first pls Knox
Well, if you were really trying to get to the bottom all the truth of the song I'll try to get the point across that he wasn't talking about Tupac then you would have pointed out the part on the song when he said electrical tape around your daughter.. Tupac doesn't have a daughter!
I don’t think this is a diss track that’s why people say pac won cause pac made a diss track with intentions and shots at big in hit em up, where as in this I truly feel it was ment to be a song not a diss as it’s not hard hitting and direct like hit em up. I 100% agree this was just dropped at a terrible time and probably pushed to build hype and people made the connections to pac and the so called things that could be taken as disses/ sublims
Biggie had 6 shots on the end of the track. 😕
Pac shot himself one time go do your search
Biggie...LongKiss
Check out black opera by supernatural
If you like Tupac have you heard “That’s just the way it is” by Bruce Hornsby and the Range ?
“Mo Money Mo Problems”
The 1000 deaths is also shot at Pac "A coward dies a 1000 deaths, souljah dies but once"
"Who shot me but you punks didn't finish, now you bout to feel the wrath of menace!"
But you guys in the skit in the end idk if anyone noticed but Pac got shot 5 times and he included 5 shots in the skit even though the gun was in the guys mouth… so I would say that he made it for pac just from that right?
Puffy ruined everything and now karma is heading his way for sure
Little known fact this song was directed at LL Cool J not Tupac.
The intention was there!
Who shot ya was rewritten to diss pac!
It was hypocritical of Big and Badboy to act all surprised when Pac came at him with intensity, after this track.
BRO TAKE A LOOK AT DIVINE’S NEW SONG : 4.10 ! WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU REACT TO IT
