You can add to this that OpenGL doesn't work by default on Windows 10, because the latest drivers were meant for Windows 8.1. There's a work-around for it, but it's tedious to apply.
When I was in high school I gamed on a low-end Walmart laptop with a Celeron n2830 and Intel Bay Trail graphics, which is even worse than the hd 2000. Older games ran fine. I played flight simulator on it (the 2006 version) and ran it fine on medium-high settings at 720p. It was slow and awful but as a kid I somehow made it work. I even played the Java Minecraft on it, and considered 15 FPS to be more than playable. I even ran virtual machines on it. Train simulator 2015 got 10 FPS and I still played it. Now I have a homebuilt gaming PC with an rx 5500xt and a 1600af and all those games run at 1440p high/ultra, but I still remember fondly my days trying to get games to run on a GPU that is so bad even a gt 210 beats it (albeit not by much). I still have that old laptop- it runs Ubuntu very well. TH-cam and Disney + stream in 720p very well. You should look at Bay Trail graphics- its very bad. It can't stream in 1080p without skipping frames.

I bought a laptop back in 2009/2010 for $500 that had Intel HD Graphics 3000. Gaming was a true struggle, but believe it or not, I played through and completed Fallout New Vegas and Skyrim on that laptop, but I had to go lower than the lowest available presets and dig into the config files. Hell, in Minecraft, the game would straight up freeze for 1-2 seconds whenever I opened or closed a door. 😂 It was the first computer I ever bought for myself. The performance in this video really takes me back lmao.
I do not wanna tell this But i have completed far cry 3 on lowest settings + tweaks at max framerate of 10 And Assassin's creed 2 lowest settings + tweaks at max framerate of 23 I feel proud to say that my patience has increased from 25 to 100 after playing these games Btw loved both the games Specs: Intel Pentium b960 Intel hd 2000 6gb of ram 1333mhz 2+4 Laptop
Oh and Dota 2 no longer supports DirectX 9 and OpenGL anymore. It is possible to force it to run on those at the moment but that will also be gone soon according to Valve.
I remember playing gta 5 on a 4130t with hd 4400 at 800x600 low, and it would hover around 20-25 fps. I was 14 and it was my only pc, so I enjoyed the shit out of it. I would also play minecraft 1.10.2 with about 50 mods and it would take a few minutes to load from the hard drive. makes my appreciate my 12100 and 1660ti (I'll be building a 13500 system in a few months).
i think its interesting that iGPUs are not actually that bad as people think. I used to play Fortnite on 1080p on a laptop with an 8th gen i5 and UHD graphics and i got like 15-30 fps
I used to play GTA 5 with the HD 2000, there's no need to drop the resolution from 720p. It doesn't improve the FPS in any way. Just enjoy your 10 fps in HD.
TF2 players aren't necessarily better these days. As you could see, one was obviously a bot (perhaps there was even more than one, in the footage). Valve just not doing anything about the bot problem
I'm still using i5-3470 with gtx 760 & 16GB of ddr3 1600mhz ram😟 I don't have much money to upgrade my pc but still I'm satisfied and I can also play AAA games in 2021

Hi Kryzzp, I love and enjoy all your videos. The gameplay and testing of graphic cards is very amusing to watch. Could you test Cyberpunk 1.3x on the GTX 1050 Ti ?
Hi! Thank you so much :) From what I've tested, cyberpunk is still running the same as my last updated video on the 1050ti, tbh it hasn't changed much since the release version in terms of performance!
You need a special version of Java to run Minecraft with HD2000. Otherwise you get an error stating Pixel format not accelerated. Java 8 Update 51 works fine from my experience with these integrated graphics.
My first gaming PC was a Dell XPS 8300 Same i5 2320. I got at a discount because the stock Radeon card had died. I ran the igpu for games like csgo. Call of duty WAW. And unturned. When I go back and test the same computer today on the igpu I get very similar results as you. Sad that csgo and other newer games have started to run worse. I ended up throwing a Corsair gpu and gtx 560ti in that computer back in 2014 and used that until recently. Now I'm a proud owner of an i5 4th gen and a gtx 750ti haha

I'll try to find it!
Thank you 😁💪
Aah the HD 2000, That used to be my 2009 days, a broke teenager playing on a laptop, ran games like TF2, BF2, and other source engine games like GMOD fine and smooth actually, but im soo glad those days are over, sometimes i do miss the nostalgia of those 2010 era
I have a i5-3470S which has *Intel HD 2500* I have been using since my gpu died
Its a really good experience, in gta 5 at 300p no shadows i can reach 30-40 fps and i am happy with that also in csgo i get 40-55 fps on low settings so you should test this gpu instead
i have 8gb ram
What was ur gpu?

You should try to play in intel UHD 630 or HD 630 (desktop, no TPD limit) the gaming experience isn't bad
No It sucks. (intel 630 UHD GT2) can't even handle youtube at 4k with out the occasional stutter. (i5 9600K)
@@CotyRiddle Bad wi-fi my Intel HD 630 play 4k video, or the drivers
@@St4rtPl4yer dropped frames and buffer underuns are two separate things. It's not wifi when not only does the video stutter but scrolling the web page causes a overall slowdown. It plays 4k content just fine just don't expect to do anything else while playback is in progress. BTW wi-fi and or wired not a issue especially when avg download speed are in excess of 50 mbps.

about the java version of minecraft not running, its because 1.17+ uses a more updated version of opengl, 1.16.5 and below runs well.
we want another video of intel hd🤣
It'll come 🥲
This one really takes me back since I used to rock the i3 2100 with this igpu, couldn't even play minecraft
GT710: HOLD MY BEER
You can add to this that OpenGL doesn't work by default on Windows 10, because the latest drivers were meant for Windows 8.1. There's a work-around for it, but it's tedious to apply.
G210* am I the worst?
HD2000 peeks...
20:49: ""now we know why it's called HD2000 , it's because you can only play games back from 2000""
looool !! *epic conclusion*
At the start of the video i was curious if this was an onboard graphics chip from 2000 , couldn't explain its name otherwise , *but you found an even better explanation* !!! lol !!
--P.S. GT710 owners should be feeling very good about themselves , after this video !!! *powered by GT710 For The Win*
Lol.
I remember playing gta 4 and assassin's creed brotherhood and 1 with this gpu in good fps with shadows :))
Now pls try the recent integrated gpus. There has been a lot of evolution.
I'll see what I can find 🙂

Your Worst gaming experience is..Unfortunately my daily gaming experience : (
I bought a laptop back in 2009/2010 for $500 that had Intel HD Graphics 3000.
It was the first computer I ever bought for myself. The performance in this video really takes me back lmao.
Can't believe you actually picked that pc up 😂 and tried that gpu 🤣
I wish I didn't 😂

Love your videos krizzp.. how about testing latest Intel uhd graphics like 630 or 770, would be helpful and much nicer..😀

Cuz its an 8TH GPU+15-30 bad on fps games

I used to play GTA 5 with the HD 2000, there's no need to drop the resolution from 720p. It doesn't improve the FPS in any way. Just enjoy your 10 fps in HD.
Yeah, it's so weird though, the CPU is clearly not a limitation but the GPU usage is super low
".... and welcome back to another PAINFUL Sunday video"
This one caught me off guard.
TF2 players aren't necessarily better these days. As you could see, one was obviously a bot (perhaps there was even more than one, in the footage). Valve just not doing anything about the bot problem
Meanwhile the Intel hd 2500 getting like more than double the fps in cod black ops 2 SOMEHOW
ah this is very knowledgeable to know. since I'm currently watching this with an intel i7 2600 with no dedicated gpu
Painful video? i say BLESSED.
So far through all the videos I've watched of him, this was his best driving session in GTA V
dude intergrated graphics were some of my worst gaming experiences, literally 20 frames in MINECRAFT with lowest graphic settings

Wow, I had a notebook with a celeron (don't remember which one) paired with the Intel HD Graphics. This review reminded me that I used to play stuff on it (what I could, a least). Even Minecraft lagged a bit, so yeah XD
Good to know that my PC can run so much without GPU in 2021

Hi Kryzzp, I love and enjoy all your videos. The gameplay and testing of graphic cards is very amusing to watch. Could you test Cyberpunk 1.3x on the GTX 1050 Ti ?
Hi!
Thank you so much :)
From what I've tested, cyberpunk is still running the same as my last updated video on the 1050ti, tbh it hasn't changed much since the release version in terms of performance!
I used to play BF3 on a HD 4000. It kinda worked at 1024x768, it was fun :D
You need a special version of Java to run Minecraft with HD2000. Otherwise you get an error stating Pixel format not accelerated. Java 8 Update 51 works fine from my experience with these integrated graphics.
it didn't worked on my intel hd 2000 though, says it needs opengl 4.4+ at least
My first gaming PC was a Dell XPS 8300 Same i5 2320. I got at a discount because the stock Radeon card had died. I ran the igpu for games like csgo. Call of duty WAW. And unturned. When I go back and test the same computer today on the igpu I get very similar results as you. Sad that csgo and other newer games have started to run worse. I ended up throwing a Corsair gpu and gtx 560ti in that computer back in 2014 and used that until recently. Now I'm a proud owner of an i5 4th gen and a gtx 750ti haha
Dude I had one of these for years, I finally got an i7 with an Intel UHD 630 and it's actually enjoyable
