    I enjoy this presentation. Great photography. Great voice over. I hate the videos where people try too hard to be funny. Great info, right to the point. Professional production. Thank you.

    I had been to 4 from your list last year in end of last May (Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Red Rocks Amphitheater & Park, Royal Gorge Bridge & Train). The others on your list I am planning on future trip to Colorado, but I would add 7 Falls at Colorado Springs to bucket list as well.

    • @HashtagColoradoLife
      @HashtagColoradoLife  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yay! Glad to hear that you've already visited some of these with plans to see more of them. Colorado is such a great state for bucket list items. Oh yes, Seven Falls is a fantastic addition and destination in Colorado Springs. Thanks for the suggestion!

    I will be emigrating from Europe to the USA at the end of 2024. I've been thinking about it for a long time, especially regarding the process of my integration, as I would have it much "easier" in the coastal regions. I don't want to make it too easy for myself and want to learn the customs and language properly. Colorado comes first at the moment, of course I have to see where I can find work but I have already been able to make some contacts in Colorado, it doesn't look bad. I would be very happy if that works out.

      GO FOR IT! Dive right on in!
      I think CO is a great place for international folks. Denver is a big enough city that you can find food or people that represent just about every corner of the globe. And the state of CO is big enough that you can easily escape into the mountains and forget there is a metropolis of 3mil people nearby.
      If you like being outside and really strive for a good work-life balance, then CO will be a perfect fit.
      Keep in mind tho, one of the biggest hurdles for anyone moving here is the elevation.

      @@HashtagColoradoLife Thank you very much, I was also immediately impressed by Colorado, the mixture of big city and beautiful nature. Thank goodness I'm also used to the elevation, I spent my childhood in the mountains before I later moved to the urban jungle. I miss nature and mountains, which is why Colorado immediately came to the top of my list of favorite places in the USA. Hopefully we'll meet on the roads there later, keep your fingers crossed for me. 🤞🏻😁

    Dinosaur National Monument is well worth the visit, on the border with Utah.
    Telluride and Breckenridge are excellent ski towns to visit, as is Aspen.
    The Air Force Academy Chapel in Colorado Springs is a great place to visit too.
    I'm partial to the charm of Boulder.

    • @HashtagColoradoLife
      @HashtagColoradoLife  29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The AFA Chapel has been under renovations for like 3 years now! Just this great big white cube-tent as of now. But everything you suggested is accurate.

      Dinosaur is good. But early summer is cedar gnat season if you're near the high desert pinyon & juniper trees. Consider long pants, long sleeve shirt, and maybe have a head net.

      HAHAHA ok yes I do think Casa Bonita is pretty worthy of this list. BUT! We haven't been there since before the pandemic and it acquired new management so can't speak to how it is currently. I do hear there are cliff divers and a gorilla that run about.

      Totally worthy of being on this list! The list would be toooooooo looooong if we included everything worth seeing in CO.
      Also, Mt Evans is now named Mount Blue Sky.

    can you please tell me what time is best to visit Colorado

  • @elizabethpapapietro9131

    if we had to choose between visiting the buena vista area or the glenwood springs area, which one would be better for a family of 4 with 2 girls ages 8 and 10?

    • @HashtagColoradoLife
      @HashtagColoradoLife  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Pretty even I think. Both towns are about the same size, have equal opportunity to get out into nature and have roughly the same sort of things to do / eat in each town. Oh and both have hot springs.
      I think it comes down to more what you want to do. Glenwood is a bit more relaxing as it's easy to just park at the hotel and walk everywhere in the city (defo stay at the Glenwood Hot Springs Lodge if you pick this place) and stay up later sitting in the hot springs. While Buena Vista is a bit more make-your-own-fun and getting out everyday.

    I love your videos. I just accepted a job offer and will be moving to Colorado this Summer. Is there any real estate companies you would recommend since you are a local and has a wealth of knowledge?

    • @HashtagColoradoLife
      @HashtagColoradoLife  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you so much!! And grats on moving to Colorado this summer, how exciting! Yes, we are currently working with a real estate company (the same one we used five years ago) to sell our current home and upgrade to a new one. We have two recommendations:
      The Platinum Group or Kenney & Company. We have worked with both of them, as has some of our friends and colleagues. Great real estate agents to work with! Hope this helps.

      Few ideas that keep you pretty close to Denver:
      Try to see a show at Red Rocks amphitheater (or just go hike around there)
      Estes Park & Rocky Mnt Natl Park
      Zoo / Denver Art Museum / Denver Museum of Nature & Science
      Sloans Lake area is nice with some great places to eat and get outside

    Maroon Bells

    • @HashtagColoradoLife
      @HashtagColoradoLife  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Totally worthy of the list (but busy)! But also on a of other lists. Wanted to try to give something a bit different

    • @nztrekker
      @nztrekker 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Picture at the end is nice. But wise not to include the Bells on a family-oriented list. They are dangerous climbs with loose rock and a lot of exposure. I did both back in the 1990s. Fun days, but I had had the necessary training to do them safely.@@HashtagColoradoLife
