I’m from Colorado but not explored this place too too much yet because I’m still young but I’m 24 now and a badass motorcyclist and I really hope most of these are paved because I’m taking my motorcycle up these roads soon
I just found your channel, and I love it! We moved to the Denver area in 1978, and have covered a lot of Colorado by car, and also 4x4. All we have to do is "go for a drive in the mountains", and no matter where we go, it's amazing. One of my favorites is Highway 119 through Black Hawk and Nederland to Estes Park and Ricky Mountain National Park, over Old Fall River Road, out the other side of RMNP through Winter Park, and back to Denver. It's awfully long for a day trip, but it sure is beautiful!
My wife and I traveled this section of road back in June of this year. At the end of driving this road I was literally shaking. I even told my wife not to move has she was wanting to take photos. We ran into a couple in the early morning hours in the town of Silverton. Only one coffee shop was open for us to get out of the cold. While talking to the couple they told me that they arrived during the night and that the husband as well was shaking upon arriving in Silverton. I would recommend under no circumstances to travel this section at night.
The state boasts national parks, meadows and forests; Where you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking or mountain climbing in warm climates. The state is full of diverse wildlife, from bears and moose to raccoons and wolverines
If you think driving these roads is awesome, I'm a Colorado native, and my wife and I have road Independence pass, The Million Dollar Highway, Trail Ridge Road and numerous other passes on our Harleys
Colorado is gorgeous!

So glad!
Have you ever driven the hwy thru Big Thompson Canyon to/from Estes Park? We used to drive it from Denver en route to Rocky Mtn NP. Check it out.
No, but thanks for telling me!
Great video. And I agree that the Mt. Evans Scenic Byway is the best. I refuse to call it Mt. Blue Sky.
Thanks for sharing!
Your top 5 is almost mine too. Except the first one which I have mot done. I will replace it with Pikes Peak.
Love your video- what’s the best way to get to Ouray? From New Mexico??? Thx
I'm not sure which area of New Mexico you're coming from but I would probably go through Durango, Colorado and head north.

"the Goats are Nuts",..Ha !Ha ! they sure are...
Beware Beast
Beautiful state, but it's a landlocked state so far away from the ocean.
It is Mt. Evans not Mt. Blue Sky.. Dang Liberals
Its pretty but Canadian Rockies are 10 times better than this
The Canadian Rockies are gorgeous!
