This really helps with my fairway woods off the deck. I was struggling to find consistency until one day at the range I slowed up my takeaway and made sure to finish my backswing before the transition, and presto! I consistently flush my fairway woods! A tip you gave in another video was keeping your hands as far away from your body as possible, that along with keeping my elbows together has improved my game twofold. Cheers

Great video that I’ve watched before but as I’m struggling with slicing because I’m swinging way to fast and I tend to tighten my arms and swing out to in vs in to out. Thanks for the video and great clear instructions

I was always told that even if you took the club back 40 mph, you have to get to zero mph at the top. If you snatch it back quickly, the club rebounds to start down. If you're perfectly on plane when you do that, great, but if not, it's too late to change the path once you're on the way to impact. Cam Young certainly takes it back slowly and he's one of the longer hitters on tour.

If you have a tendency to quickly raising your club up during the takeaway then yes, your swing could benefit from this tip. It helps to quiet the wrists early in your takeaway/backswing.
