Watched a tip from parang Harrington this morning Mike and he was making the exact same points as yourself...the pros know it all...well done great lesson
I always think turn slow with the lower body, then turn fast with the upper body at P3. You can have less tension in the arms, but you need the extra volocity at the top of the backswing to flex the golf shaft in the opposite direction. Don't try and come down, as the shaft will have the perfect "late flex" profile to fall into the slot, create flex at P5 and have forward shaft lean at impact!!!!
Hi Jong, the benefit of a slow and low back swing is that you are less likely to initiate the takeaway with your hands. A fast backswing tends to be handsier which can negatively impact our swing plane and angle of attack. I hope they makes sense. Thanks for watching.
Good drill, keeps the club path more online. Nice work Mike
This is the best , most simplified explanation I ever watched!!! 👍👍

Hey Frank! Thank you for your words and thanks for watching!
The fast backswing causes me to grip the club too tight. Low and slow give me a light and easy grip. Great video Mike!
Thank you! Glad it helped!
Hi mike, I've been struggling with my driver for a long long time. I tried this and i made progress. makes a lot of difference man. Thanks
Great to hear!
I've experimented with low and slow many times but I always go back to a back-swing that is a related to the speed of the downswing.
Ur backswing is at least 80 MPH??
@@jonny-dp2qr I said "related" not identical.
@@glennwatson3313 but it’s not related
@@jonny-dp2qr Maybe a better word ir proportional.

Excellent
Nice video, Mike, but I see considerable early extension, back pockets off the line and hips under. Numerous videos pound this concept.
No one has the same swing
thanks for your inputs/j
You’re welcome!
Low and slow kills me on all.clubs badly except driver and my.3 wood where I HAVE to do low and slow or i come in steep and sky it...
Padraig
It's funny too cause low and slow from first person feels like your bringing it way under plane...but that's not what happens
you did not explain why lower back swing. only quick back swing explained
