There was people in the comment section that said he should not of talked about these two ten year old girls that was killed by a guy that worked for the school in the area they lived, it was twenty years ago but I disagreed because people and parents need to be reminded that it is not a safe world we live in. It’s not always a stranger, the boogie man, it’s people you may know, may not be someone in your life everyday but you recognize them. This man killed, burned their bodies, didn’t find them for thirteen days he killed them in his home, his girlfriend tried to alibi for him. Some said let it rest, don’t bring it up, it’s up setting, let it rest. No, these beautiful little girls need to be a reminder or their death becomes just that death. The reminder about their death and their trust could save another child ! Please be careful, it’s just not safe. You should of filmed him, just in case. Please don’t go alone.
Sue, you should start carrying. In these times you need to have something on you , weather it's a tazor,gun,pepper spray, a alarm or a really bright torch that will blind them. Even with your husband. I live by myself I keep a loaded full chock shot gun along with a 9mil in my house and I always carry with me a gun, bright light and wasp spray. I live out in the country and have horses. Times have changed just like you said it's not safe anymore. But at least you would have something to protect you to give u enough time to b safe. It amazes me how well those tombstones have held up. In America many of the older tombstones are made of softer stone and can no longer be read. Great video! Thanks Sue!

I could spend all day in a cemetery like that, so peaceful... But I was really worried for your safety because, as you said, it is so remote... I could almost feel the spirits of the departed there watching over you, telling you to be careful where you step, look over your shoulder, be ever-vigilant. I'm glad you got out of there okay. I was so on high alert for Sue, That I didn't notice the stones or anything else. I was trying to watch over her without actually being there. I don't know how that's even possible! I gave her some stay safe rules to go by, that's the only thing I can do.😱🙀🙀🙀

As normal the old graveyards visits and to celebrate the on set of spring and rebirth of nature. But beware of spirits can attached on to you, and don't now they are departed .But your spiritual strength will protect you and your partner. My prayers with you on lifes journey. 🐰🎋

I go to local cemeteries and one in particular felt “off” to me. I got out of the car to look at some children stones and felt an oppressive presence and had to leave. I will not go back. It seems unfair we feel like this, gish as a child we'd ramble everywhere freely, no phones, no watches, just knew when the sun was setting home we went. Different times unfortunately and I fear for my children 😪

Lovely remote place scary those people popping up. I used to play handball up the school walls and also squash, a victim would be pushed down a corridor and everyone would squash them.

Me and my mother were wondering around a cemetery one year and it was early evening and the sky was darkening a little. Something was moving and following us, we heard branches snapping and we were shaking and nearly crying with fear - it ended up being bloody wild chickens or roosters or something. Frightened the living daylights out of us and although we laughed about it - it really freaked me out and I'll never forget it - lol!! What a beautiful place you are in.

I've also nearly injured my ankle while in a lovely cemetery called Bonny Glenn here - I had to go on my own about a mile up a hill as my dear mum couldn't manage the uneven ground and the climb - but while in there I fell down a blimmin hole and could have broken my foot! It's dangerous stuff sometimes between the holes and murderous chickens - but we are addicted to it and can't help outselves.

I'm so impressed with you're graveyard visits!! I've watched other's, but nothing compares to your's!!! You go too several obscure graveyards in you're travels. What impresses me most is the history! On many occasions, u look up the history either headstone names & or graveyards. Your revenant attitude towards the dead & mounds is so respectful. Even fairly well known graveyards, u seem too look for the old or unbeknownst too u dates going back too the late 1600's, 1700's! These headstones have the most magnificent reliefs & statues! You allow the viewer to experience these dated, but incredible pieces of a long lost period in time, when Masterpieces of stonework was the norm. Thankyou so much for allowing me as a viewer, too give me so many ideas for sculptures I create. When visiting Egypt & the UK, I was allowed too make charcoal tracing of many reliefs, especially old heads stones & monoliths!! U go into areas where tombs are broken, allowing viewer's too see the construction, or what's left of them. When finding destroyed cruips & human bones are apparent, you're respect & honouring the remains astounds me! Thanku for this Sue. I'll continue to watch you're channel & I believe it's called "Graveyard Visitations".....both are amazingly similar. Going into some of these on you're own &;the feelings of unease is completely understandable!!! Be safe!! Continue all you're doing....one of the best of these channels I've EVER experienced!!

Slate stones hold up better than marble. Granite is best, but has been a modern alternative.

Those chalkers seemed more interested in the artwork than the past people being remembered.
That's what I think, people often suggest to me e to use chalk but I prefer the flashlight method, nothing left on the stones afterwards

I love seeing the really old graves they are beautiful and all that history of lots of people who lived before us and makes you wonder what there life’s were like there lives would have involved hard work and working at great houses lovely video
I can only imagine how they lived, we had a huge rebellion in 1798 so I'm sure they lived very much in fear

It seems unfair we feel like this, gish as a child we'd ramble everywhere freely, no phones, no watches, just knew when the sun was setting home we went. Different times unfortunately and I fear for my children 😪

Me and my mother were wondering around a cemetery one year and it was early evening and the sky was darkening a little. Something was moving and following us, we heard branches snapping and we were shaking and nearly crying with fear - it ended up being bloody wild chickens or roosters or something. Frightened the living daylights out of us and although we laughed about it - it really freaked me out and I'll never forget it - lol!! What a beautiful place you are in.
Oh no, that's the thing when you are there and hearing noises in a graveyard, you are on high alert
@SerenitySueGraveyards You sure are! I was feeling every second of your being on edge there!! I've also nearly injured my ankle while in a lovely cemetery called Bonny Glenn here - I had to go on my own about a mile up a hill as my dear mum couldn't manage the uneven ground and the climb - but while in there I fell down a blimmin hole and could have broken my foot! It's dangerous stuff sometimes between the holes and murderous chickens - but we are addicted to it and can't help outselves.

Missed the live Sue, loved this old and somewhat scary cemetery , they did such efford on the stones with all the carvings in the 70’ and 80’s
They are amazing so much love and work went into them, I often wonder did they know 100s of years later we are still looking at them and reading what they wrote 😀

I'm so impressed with you're graveyard visits!! I've watched other's, but nothing compares to your's!!! You go too several obscure graveyards in you're travels. What impresses me most is the history! On many occasions, u look up the history either headstone names & or graveyards. Your revenant attitude towards the dead & mounds is so respectful. Even fairly well known graveyards, u seem too look for the old or unbeknownst too u dates going back too the late 1600's, 1700's! These headstones have the most magnificent reliefs & statues! You allow the viewer to experience these dated, but incredible pieces of a long lost period in time, when Masterpieces of stonework was the norm. Thankyou so much for allowing me as a viewer, too give me so many ideas for sculptures I create. When visiting Egypt & the UK, I was allowed too make charcoal tracing of many reliefs, especially old heads stones & monoliths!! U go into areas where tombs are broken, allowing viewer's too see the construction, or what's left of them. When finding destroyed cruips & human bones are apparent, you're respect & honouring the remains astounds me! Thanku for this Sue. I'll continue to watch you're channel & I believe it's called "Graveyard Visitations".....both are amazingly similar. Going into some of these on you're own &;the feelings of unease is completely understandable!!! Be safe!! Continue all you're doing....one of the best of these channels I've EVER experienced!!
