It is such a shock to see the difference between European campers and American campers, even our antique or vintage old-school 1960's model are so different. I am shocked every time I watch one of these videos. Our old school campers from the 1950's are Spartans, then later Airstreams, and "canned hams," Winnebago's, on up through the 1970's longer campers, 12, 18, 28 or 32 ft, later the 40 ft to 55 ft ones. The new Jayco 2 bedroom pull types, and the new 5th wheels with pop-outs.
Stunning old van there👍👍 Wish I still had our 1st van we got 20 years ago, it was a '72 ABI with lovely, old school fittings inside. We tore every single door (& there were loads of them) off the inside, gave her a thorough deep clean, new carpets and replaced every single brass hinge on the doors and cupboards. Sheer class but sadly the chassis rotted and, after I did a top job of welding it solid again, my missus lost faith in its stability even though it was stronger than when it left the factory 😭😭
Simply stunning ! absolutely love these trailers . I would have one in a heart beat . The inside is so pretty nice that it’s not all white . Can’t wait to see it with the wheel spats on . Thank you some much for sharing it with us . I love your videos :)
Beautiful trailer, classy. I've got photos of that back in 2009 when it had the cooker lol. Great to see an early three bay one, so many were taken back to the works to have the 'single' big bay fitted.
@@reubenleveridge5175 haha I just told her I like it but she said she don't like it 😂😂😂 it's got a Gatsby feel to it, I love the mirrors with he details beautiful lil details
Could do worse than contact Dan Sullivan at Roma caravans in Bedford - knows a bit about vintage trailers. A tidy TK would make a good tow vehicle imho !
@@reubenleveridge5175 I think it’ll be January before I get back on the Westy now I rebuilt the back half of the roof a few weeks back still got the front half to do then will put the new side panels on then I’ll make some arches 🤣 but as soon as I do I’ll send you some pics 👍
