I think you can connect the light that is under the mirror but you need to plug it at door for power

@@AlexTheGrumpyOne I m planning to connect those and also i ordered the mirror dynamic turn signals with the blue lighting when you lock and unlock the car . Do you know if i can make the blue light work only on locking and unlocking? and not working the whole time like Drl. I was planning to take power from the fuse box

You just have to unplug it from that light

As far as I'm aware they should fit yes and they got the little light unit under them as well for your welcome lights. You can always double check with carmodshop first to be honest.
Do you have to swap them back to original for mot like other l.e.d lights 🤔
Hi there. No there is no need 😀 it's only the LED that are located in the headlight unit that can be an issue

Hi mate, I have a 2015 scirocco. I have the original mirror indicators but for some reason they don’t work at all. Was wondering if this could be bulb issues or a fuse issue or maybe they were switched off by a previous owner? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you had a look at the fuses already? I would suggest doing that first. I don't think someone would switch them off as its a fail on MOT

These are black smoked, is there a brighter version or is black smoked just the name ?
Yes there are brighter ones. They are smoked and darker 😀
Does these fit on the R-Line spec? I bought a set a while back and tried fitting them but things didn't line up right. I didn't spend a lot of time so I might give it another crack. The mirrors do look similar to yours.

Hey question, got the same kind of units, but on my left (drivers side) the turn signal stay lid up (stays on) instead of blinking, any help or known fix?
Have you used the switch to chnage it? You can also unplug it and plug it back in and then disconnect the battery for a bit to reset the system

Did the little flashing indicator square to the left of the mirror come off when you were doing this? I heard its a common issue whilst removing the outer mirror covers.
Nope it all worked well and nothing had broken off 😀

Hello bud. Right. The side indicator on my one on that little square doesn't show at all on driver side. I got a very little bit on passenger side. I would say its due to being aftermath and got a bit more plastic on it and obviously smoked.

Nice, are these universal for any scirocco mk3? I see on their website it has part numbers but I really don't want to pull mirror apart to check the part number, also any error codes from these? I have a 2010 60 plate 2.0 tdi
Hi yes as they got little light under them for a newer models as well. In my one I havent got light under the mirror unit so I havent used it.

My mirror elements are glued in? Not removable. 😭😭😭. What can I do to fix this? I’ve just bought the dynamic indicators and was ready to get stuck in but that’s stopped me in my tracks 🥲
That's not very good. So someone actually glued them in? Have you got a picture so I can advise on what you can do.
I don’t think it’s been tampered with I think it’s just been the original mirror? It’s like where you have the little bit you need to unclip, instead mines is into a little metal holder and that’s got a dot of glue to hold it in place. I’ve just ordered new mirrors with the clip part. I’ll send pics soon. Thanks for replying 😁
Just came to the realisation the new mirrors won’t make a difference because the wires don’t have a connector for them 🫣
