Your knowledge and enthusiasm makes this channel enjoyable. Thank for your time in putting these videos together. I don’t know a lot about cars and engines. It’s nice to be able to start to appreciate the technology and engineering going into engines especially the EA288 Diesel from what I gather the best diesel VW have made. It’s a shame the media is forcing them into early extinction as environmentally economically and performance these engines have reached a new milestone of maturity.
I fitted the MST induction kit to my 122hp scirocco, lovely induction noise great build quality and even a blow off noise when I removed the hood lining. Couldn’t be happier highly recommended
@@torquecars Not that I could tell, but I haven’t remapped the car. The dyno sheet on MST’s website shows a peak increase of about 7hp and 10nm around 4800rpm though. But for me it’s more than worth it for the sound
You tend to see an increase at the top end and a bit of a dip at the bottom end, but as you say it's the experience of the drive you get with that induction roar.
@@funkymonkey2091 can’t find the mst intake you’re talking about for the 122hp? It doesn’t particularly matter to me as I have a proram intake, I’m just intrigued
Have the 2017 tdi r line diesel in logw with the car had it remapped by far best thing ive done. Really recommed upgrading the pads too afterwards as its needed badly hahah. 😂
what mods will increase reliability for my 1.4 CAVD twincharged whilst also increasing power/sound? ive read that this engine is not really reliable so that is really my main focus (also it got 204200 km on it)
yup really noticable when you need to match revvs to high rpms, but anyways my 1.4 cavd has a rather unreliable engine so any idea if a lighter flywheel is worth the potential damage?

Very nice! I was just talking about these with a friend last week, he's looking for an upgrade for his. Did it affect power much?

I have a 2015 Scirocco 2.0 TSI DSG Sportline; love her to bits although high mileage has given me a range of issues that I have to fix
I've got a 2016 Scirocco r and it is a beautiful fast car.
I'm driving scirocco 1.4 tsi twincharged variant its fun to drive. I didn't mod much just an axle back exhaust.

Great video 👍 I have a 2009 2 litre tdi it's a great car and still looks cool asf
Thanks! 👍
Thank you 👌👍
Thank you too
Fly wheel should be lighter so you can rev the car faster. After it comes done to driver skills.
