    Seriously, I don't know what my PS skills would have looked like without finding your channel. I might only be able to add text or use my paint brush tool in PS...lol.... I learned so much from you! You're the best.

    Thanks for bringing up this great and simple method!
    I first saw this technique in Lee Varis excellent book Skin, I highly recommend it for anyone that want to learn more about retouching skin.
    One thing to be aware of when picking the color is that using a single point sample can easily betray you, especially if there are some color noise in the image. Selecting a larger sample area is often a good idea to get an average.
    I haven't tried this with darker skin colors. In general I find color correcting dark skin without getting a magenta color cast difficult, any tips for that would be fantastic!

    Could this method also be used to remove shadows on a subjects face cast by a cap/hat?

    • @phlearn
      @phlearn  หลายเดือนก่อน

      that would be a little bit more tricky, as Hue/Saturation focuses more on color.
      Here is a tutorial that might help you with your issue:

      Prefer apps to use since I have no pc/laptop

    • @phlearn
      @phlearn  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey there! These are our top 2 tips that worked for us in the past:
      - Use bright, contrasting colors to make your thumbnail pop on the search page. Ensure your text is clear and readable against the background.
      - Keep your thumbnail clean and avoid overwhelming viewers with too much text or elements.
      If you have time, some competitor research could be insightful. See what other channels in your niche are doing well.

    I haven't used Photoshop for a long time. Do these techniques still work with my PS 8 app, which I purchased some years ago--prior to ADOBE going to a "rental" configuration vs the days when a person actually owned the app.

    • @phlearn
      @phlearn  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Jimmy! If the Hue/Saturation Adjustment Layer is present in your version of the app, you should still be able to use this technique.🤗

    Hue/Sat way too complicated. Try Selective Color, subtract Magenta from Red. One slider and done. Same maskking.
