      Moisture: face and eyes countout,3 options for primer not necessarily,eye shadow primer for smile line or t-zone - set this with a little powder and make up setting spray,continue with you regular matte long lasting foundation using wet sponge,she doesn't bake heavily so only padding with puff,under eyes same and setting spray all over and true out the day she just uses a clean sponge for the oil areas

    Thank you for super nice tips. Today I tried this and it is the first time in my life that my foundation has stayed last long for more than 8 hours already!! Normally under eyes area will collapse and fall out , and other areas will rub off and face starts oily within 2 hours but it doesn’t happen to me anymore!!! Thanks so much!!

    My beautiful Eman, u just contradicted yourself in this video. U said do not apply powder before liquids but u kind of did just that when u applied the eyeshadow primer on your smile lines and nose and then u patted some powder on it and then applied the foundation over all that. Please advise. Thank u!

    • @properashl

      That is just a general rule, but it does not always apply. The creasing trick works, but say if you tried to apply cream bronzer over powder bronzer, it would look horrible and ruin the look. As a general rule for the MOST part, liquid comes before powder. Sometimes you can break the rule, but usually you can't. :)

      she used a small amount where the face tends to be more oily, so she didnt really contradict herself. jackie aina also does this all over her face due to how oily her face is and her foundation turns out just fine. it's a general rule to not use liquids over powders but it doesn't count for everyone

    I understand that paid promotions/sponsorships pay the bills and I respect that, specially when they allow us, the consumers, get such good content for free. However, I'm fed up with this BareMinerals foundation. Mentioning it un every video seems pushy and makes me wonder if it actually is a good product. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate her honesty about all sponsorships and I am not intending to bash her, but to give some constructive criticism. Love you Eman!

    Hi. I love your tutorial videos!. I am 27 years old and have never done makeup other than a bit of light eye lid powder with my finger, a bit of black eyelash paint and lipstick.
    I feel I need to start looking more feminine specially now that I had my Lasik surgery after 20 years of wearing very thick glasses. I have watched so many tutorials but I end up more confused about what brushes or makeup to use. I have no concept of fundations or concealers, I just feel so incredibly lost. It seems like you ladies have a ton of makeup items that I just can't amass right now. Could you please make a video about your favorite Essentials of long lasting wear everyday makeup look? That would be just amazing! I love the simplicity of your make up routines, that is just what I need to feel more like the woman that I am ought to be. This is the first time I request a beauty advice😊, I am eager to hear from you.

    Matte foundations often suck the moisture out of your skin. I find, since I have more mature skin and dry skin that a dewy finish makes me look younger and doesn’t crease.

    • @Neenerella333
      @Neenerella333 7 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Daniela T I'm 48 and I started using the smallest bit of powder after the pore-filling primer(oily T zone, slightly drier cheeks, lots of pores at smile lines and between eyebrows), THEN liquid water based foundation, then under eye concealer not as much as most girls on YT though. Finally a light powder like Eman uses here. I live in a hot climate, so all this preliminary stuff is crucial to not having to reapply everything half way thru the day. I find that less is more. So, as she does with the under eye concealer/primer in the nose creases/smile lines/JUST under eye lashes, I don't add as much liquid foundation in those areas. It makes the creases/wrinkles not so cakey and obvious.

    You said using powder before foundation is a recipe for disaster but you literally added powder and setting spray before your foundation. Help?

    It has been 7th video that I'm watching and none of them seems to work on me. My skin is excessively oily that I don't think that any kinds of makeup product could save it. I don't really know what to dom j think I have to dry it I other ways rather than looking for some products to make longer the durability of make uo

    Too many products on the face might work very well for your skin, but how about a more mature skin? It might be a disaster, specially when you have oily skin.

    Do you use a wet or dry beauty blender for applying your foundation? In this video it looks like you applied the foundation with a dry beauty blender and then got it wet to blend and conceal? Thanks! xx
