please remember skin texture is a thing! *most* beauty influencer is using blurring filters for their cameras hence why most of them has perfect & poreless skin! makeup is not skin so they would not look as natural as u think, it sits on ur skin no matter how expensive is your makeup IT IS NOT SKIN. it meant to not look as perfect as how beauty influencer looks like on camera! you didnt do anything wrong, its normal to have texture skin
One thing I feel like a lot of people leave out is the fact that you always need to start with a clean beauty sponge! Every time you do your makeup you should wash it. I always just scrub it on a dove bar soap and anti bacterial soap is even better for it. It’s huuuuuge! Also if you find you’re breaking out try that. Hope this helps somebody!
I know I’m 10 months late to this comment but I found I was breaking out heaps when I used ordinary soap on my makeup sponge. Now I take it in the shower with me, wash it with my cetaphil face wash and pop it straight back into its little container afterwards. I don’t break out nearly as much anymore ☺️☺️

Abreeq Abyaz this used to irritate me as well because my makeup would always have a little bit of that look and influencers don’t really go deep into what they’re doing to make their skin look so clear. I finally went to get a microdermabrasion facial and she told me what products to get for my skin and some tips etc and I already see a difference and it’s been like two weeks.
I’ve stopped using primer! For a while my foundation was separating and I experimented with different primers and foundations but no matter what I used, every foundation would separate on me. So one day I stopped using primer and OMG I will never go back! My makeup doesn’t separate and it still looks flawless and last all day! Just sharing my experience. You need to make sure your primer and concealer are made the same. If your primer is oil based and you use a water base concealer it will separate and vice versa. If your primer is silicone base your concealer should be as well

For those who cant use or dont like primer have a look at our aloe cucumber face cream. It works very good under foundation for hydration and concealing pores.

i have textured skin i do not have a smooth canvas like you do, and from my experience i feel liquid foundation sits on my pores and scars and are even more noticeable, i like powder foundation instead.. maybe im just applying it wrong lol .. your skin is flawless girl!!!
I cannot bake my under eyes! It doesn't matter what skincare I use, how hydrated my skin is, if I bake the fine lines and every Lil crease shows. I have to use a brush! And I've also tried every powder known. Ugh it's frustrating!
ive baked before as well and i still get oily thru out the day..what i notice that helped for me is doing an aloe vera mask it legit has control my oily skin.. make up stay flawless through out the day and make i dub tissue once.

It used to drive me crazy because I couldn’t never figure out why my makeup didn’t have that flawless finish like you influencers. And then I realized yours always looks better because the skin underneath is so much better then mine and all the influencers ever say is “moisturize.” I feel like they can’t just be moisturizing. I need the deets.

Every primer I use breaks out my skin so when I started akipping it my skin got sooooo much better! I tried porefessional, max stroke cream, revlon, makeup forever the list goes on

Using moisturizer and primer are two of the best ways to avoid cake face. I used to just wash my face and add foundation straight away and always had cake face, until I started washing my face, then applying moisturizer and then primer and then foundation and so on....and now, no more cake face! Hope that helped :)
