Wow! That's a beautiful Maverick! When I 'wore out' my car, I traded it with a buddy for a pretty beat up, multicolored but reliable 1970 Maverick. That engine was awesome. I think I drove it for about a year before buying my first brand new car. I have fond memories of my little beater.

My mom bought A Ford maverick just like this with V8 302 a really good car ,later on my mom gave it to the younger brother , he install duel exhaust on it Man it sounded good , back then Ford really made good Vehicles but those days are gone , unfortunately.
Now, that’s a Maverick to me, not the reinvented new pickup truck. My mom had a 1970 with the big 6 cylinder engine, which she bought new and had it for 10 years. This must be really quick with the 302/4 barrel carb. I wish there were more smaller coupes like this again, but maybe they’ll return again in EV form sometime later.
my grandparents bought my mom one brand new for her 16th birthday, she tore it apart, when I was born they still had it sitting around, grandpa probably should have kept that little car.
My 1971 Grabber sold for 30,000 at Mecum Years back.

A friend of mine had a blue Grabber with black stripes, 302 and 4Spd. Had Cragar mags on it. It was an impressive little pocket rocket. I personally have always loved these more than Mustangs, but I'm a classic Bowtie guy.

My mother's sister had a 72-73(not sure of the year) Maverick, blue with blue interior. Remember being picked up at preschool in 1976-77 in Ohio with it. Then aunt & uncle moved to Southern California in 1977 with it.

I've seen several Maverick's come out recently, I think it's a great little car, you can build a 302 put in it get a little performance put some nice wheels on it , pretty cars

What kinda of rims are does ?
I had the same exact car color but it looked tan i believe mine had the 302 4bbl.it didnt have moulding going around wheel well.Yes 4bbl not 2bbl I dont know if anyone changed it.But someone stole the parts one day.I came out one morning and hood was up..The grabber was a muscle car..Im wondering if that was a 4bbl car?anywayreal nice car..
No factory 4bbl on American Mavericks.

Me gusta el carro un Ford Maverick Coupé 1972; cómo el qué tenía Pantaleón Calles Q.E.P.D; pero me pongo a imaginar una bella muchacha; soltera, libre y sin compromiso; sin tatuajes, ni piercings en su cuerpo; ella viste una blusa blanca manga larga, minifalda azul, calcetines canilleros blancos, gomas blancas, la cara maquillada, los labios rojos y el cabello arreglado; ella es blanca, ojos azules y cabello amarillo; pero es de cuatro puertas; era de su abuela materna; lo compró nuevo en Estados Unidos de Norteamérica; se lo trajo nuevo; la muchacha tenía novio; pero una ecuatoriana se lo quitó; ella se graduó con sus amigas; la abuela materna; le regaló el carro cómo regalo de graduación; la muchacha y sus amigas viven en la casa dónde vivían los trabajadores de la granja; porqué los trabajadores se fueron de la granja; le dieron la llave de la casa; pero el abuelo materno le dió las llaves de la casa qué era de los trabajadores; la arreglaron toda; los baños, habitaciones, sala, comedor, cocina y porche; arreglaron toda la casa; en los baños quitaron los bloques tipo persiana; le colocaron sus ventanas; compraron cerámicas, las puertas de los baños; hasta lavamanos,sanitarios y duchas; compró la nevera nueva, cocina eléctrica nueva, lavaplatos nuevos; construyeron gabinetes nuevos; le colocaron ventanas enrejadas; puertas nuevas con rejas reforzadas; pisos nuevos; techos de cemento y cabillas; le colocaron el sistema eléctrico nuevo; tuberías de agua; pintura, etc; ya la casa está arreglada y lista para vivir; ya la muchacha tiene arreglada su nueva casa; vive con sus amigas; ahora los abuelos maternos están contentos; porqué tienen nuevas trabajadoras en su granja; qué la nieta y sus amigas; ayudan a sus abuelos maternos; ella ayuda al abuelo con la siembra, cultivo y cría de animales; la casa dónde vive la nieta y sus amigas les colocó Aire acondicionado en cada cuarto; la casa dónde vivían los trabajadores es grande; tiene un garaje, porche grande, una enramada para conversar; ella puso una batea, lavadora,y cuerdas para la ropa en el patio; también colocaron cuerdas para tender la ropa en la enramada; la granja de los abuelos maternos se llama Granja Santa Rosa de Lima; de 30 hectáreas; las amigas de ella barren el patio de la casa; igual con los galpones de pollos; el abuelo le compró a su nieta botas de seguridad; igual le compró botas de seguridad para las trabajadoras; el abuelo compró otras camionetas; modelo Chevrolet; una Suburban 1989; y una Silverado 1990; de doble cabina; para qué lleven la mercancía recién cosechada al mercado; mientras el abuelo materno y su esposa llevan las demás hortalizas en su viejo camión; soy José Rafael Grange Fuenmayor de Maracaibo Estado Zulia Venezuela; saludos y buenas noches.
