This is probably the best hair painting tutorial I have yet to find and I have watched many. You do a good job at explaining, taking your time, being informative and most importantly angling the camera so one can actually see what the paint brushes are doing and its simple easy steps many could do. @Aussierebornsupplies is that how you would do it on ya reborn doll to do painted hair on it for Beginners or not if so if this is how it is to do for Beginners but if not how do you do painted hair on them for Beginners,also how to put eyes in them / change their color by not cutting open their eye lids = could you do it a easier way by not cutting the eyelid and if so could you plz show in a vid for Beginners
You should use a pencil to draw a map first . Put more liquid solution in the color ,it will help you paint easier . Use a small , soft and long brush for the base . Bake. After that use a small brush with dark color for definition and detail. Use xs brush and lighter color for hair line around . Try this technique and you can see.

love your brush ideal but i took mine a little step farther and cut out some in between which created some space between the strokes keep from puting to thick at a time

Like right after the hair line or after its all done? in beginning to reborn and I will be getting all of the things I need here in a couple weeks and I really want to paint hair as I love painted hair. where did you get your paints and brushes? in ordering some paints off ebay but I don't know if it's any that you have.
can you also do a reborn baby girl's hair too because i'm trying to learn has much has i can because i will soon be starting my very own reborn nursery hopefully by October

so I have a question is the little fine liner brush soft and flexible or stiff?
angie vance it can be either way really. I try to use both. But sometimes a flexable one will give you more flow.

Now you are using heat set paints so do u do the same thing with the air dry paints
