there is nothing wrong with using the apple barrel paints i been painting for a year now with those paints and my dolls always come out beautiful its a matter of preference and thats your preference not to use them but apple barrel paints do not decrease the quality of your art
If i remember correctly, I never said they decrease the quality of art. (This video is ancient) Apple Barrel paints do not have the same qualities as Golden Fluid or reborn specific air dry paints. What you choose to use is up to you, although a lot of people who paint with Apple Barrel do not understand the importance of adding mediums and diluting your paints. With air-dry, you certainly can use any paint brand, cheap-expensive-easy to find, it doesn’t matter. What does matter is understanding acrylic paints and getting the proper components to ensure your paints hold up the test of time while also complying to “reborn” standards. If any of the latter comments don’t apply to you then you’re probably fine. My opinion is not gospel, I’m just sharing from seeing. Thank you for watching my video and taking the time to share your personal experience, much appreciated!
