I just purchased my first kit and would love to see a part 2 maybe part 3. Just want to see how you get the end results. I bought the kit for myself I have a few mental illnesses and would love to have one of my own dolls to comfort me.
This is genuinely really helpful! I’ve recently been wanting to learn how to make my own reborns and I struggle with actually painting realistic and detailed skin tones! I look forward to more painting tutorials with you ‼️
Thank you Jess for showing us newbies how to complete the basics. Having just purchased a kit id like to have a go and hopefully achieve a decent result! Bless you 💞💞
Good luck! I learned soooo much through trial and error, and sometimes I can do exactly the same things on two different dolls and they turn out completely differently because the vinyl has reacted differently!!
thank you jess. this was interesting ....i use genesis heat set paint , still my stock when i started 2012💜👍🍀🌈 keep up the beautiful art of reborning dolls🙏see you soon ! and nice to have meeting you ....love from South-Africa
I absolutely love your channel! I’ve recently started painting my first mini baby the Salia sculpt ” by Olga Auer. Your videos have helped me so much! Thank you for being so awesome!!
You are a great artist please send us more of your owesome technical I have done reborning a few years ago and just restarted again thanks for your videos
Hey Jess! So glad you are finally doing painting videos. I also have Sue Ellen Patreon and I love the content from start to finish! Coming to you from Louisville Kentucky. So glad to meet you. love your babies. They are amazing, and you are a great artist. Oh and by the way I got my first non bountiful baby kit from Laura Lee Eagles. Her Gracie Mae. Completely soled out at macphesons so i bought it straight from her. but cant wait to see more of your painting videos and seeing your style of painting. keep up the good work. :)
Thank you so much for this video, I want to start painting, but I struggled to find a video that is straightforward, your video is perfect! Quick and easy to understand/follow. Looking forward for more videos 😊
Hiii , i have been watching your video for a while and i love them! , do you have a kit that you would recommand as a "starter" kit? I tried with a 6 to 9 month kit in 2021 and it didnt really turned out great 😅
Hi, I just came across your channel! I have been buying my daughter reborns for a few years now (we’re up to 14!) I have a question and I hope you can help…how do you do the hair that is rooted? I mean styling it…some of her babies have curls and she has two African American babies and their hair turned to frizz…I’ve tried detangling sprays, conditioner, wider combs and none of those have worked. She takes very good care of them and gets upset when their hair isn’t just so.
How long does it take to dry between each layer ? I never thought of using air dry paints. Have you tried using heat set paints ~ & if so, is there a preference in one verses the other on quality, or time ?
By the time I'm finished with the last limb, the paint is dry enough to start on the head again! It usually only takes a couple of minutes for the paint to dry :) I don't use heat set because you have to have a separate space due to the fumes.
@@rebornsofjess , omygosh, thank you for your quick response ! And that is quick drying times ! I'm not sure which way I want to start with ~ but, it's a learning experience !
@@karenlaw-boshears1750 I've heard that heat set are easier to paint with, but for me I don't want to have to bake my kits and have all the extra equipment etc
@@rebornsofjess , right, & I just didn't know if there was a diff. in the longevity of air verses heat set ? I'll try both ways...also incorporating some eye brows drawn on with those pencils. I can't wait to get started ! Thanks 💜
It seems that you might also be a shockingly amazing make-up artist
Funnily enough I used to do that! I'd paint my face into a galaxy or things like that for fun :)
I was a makeup artist before I started reborning!
@Mandapanda. Ah! This makes a lot of sense! 😊
Thanks so much for putting us in to sue Ellen's tutorials she is amazing x
100% she's the best tutorial you can get

How do 'fix' the colours so that they don't come off if the babies are washed?❤
Would I use primer with all acrylic paints? Isn’t that what medium is for?
Do you ship your babies to the us? Do you mind sharing the price of shipping please
I hope you can do a video from start to finish step by step x maybe li k products your amazing

What primer do you use
May I ask how you dilute these paints to do texture layers and mottling layers?
Same way, with water but just don't dilute them quite as much as the washes :)
@@rebornsofjess Ok Thanks. I just ordered the Primary set of waterborne. You got me wanting these paints. Way cheaper than Ultimate Fusion paints.
Do you have a part 2 on this?
I have always wondered how you use Genesis paints, etc., paints that you need to heat ...
I only use air dry sorry
Can these paints be used on a soft silicone?
No, only silicone based paint can be used on silicone. Nothing else will stick.
Will there be a part two to this video?
Yes! I just haven't had time to make it yet 😅
@@rebornsofjesspleaseee🙏🙏❤️
Does the paint wear out overtime? Thank you
When you say wear out, what do you mean?
Over time, if the doll is handled regularly, the paint may wear down
@@rebornsofjess I mean to loose its colour
@@perfectpeanut9321 if you seal the paint afterwards it shouldn’t loose color.
Please part two 😢😢😢😢😢
Loved it u got instagram by chance
