Bel 🇧🇪 👋👋
I want to thank you for sharing this beautiful work; you are a great teacher. Unfortunately the lighting was not too clear where one can see the details but I trust your technique and it was very clear and detailed. I wish you had this in a book...LOL. Hopefully you can continue to provide us with more great tips. I dont have the space to reborn but I can start with the painted kits until I can do the complete project. My goal is to create a baby to look like my only child, keep the memory alive when he was a toddler.
This was outstanding. Ive always been confused about how to paint a doll. Now I think I'll be able to do it. Did you actually have a look at a new born to be able to paint or just looked at other creators? I notice some add some blue to the heel or mid foot, or leave middle of the toes lighter and blush the tips of the toes. EDIT: Digital cameras do not do your art justice and it is difficult to see the difference sometimes
The wooden stands were homemade and I’m not sure if flesh 08 will be available as Genesis heat set company went out of business. I will in the future be switching paints and once I do I will be creating new tutorials with them.
You can bake on the over if you place a cotton towel on cookie sheet and ensure that no parts r touching the metal. At 265 F but I don’t recommend it because ovens don’t necessarily bake even and the baking leaves residue and fumes. That you may not want in your food.
Hi and thank you so much for doing this video. It is a very helpful to learning how to paint the dolls. When you get a chance could you please also do a video on how you bake the dolls in your oven and which one you bought. Thank you so much. April marsh Greenville south Carolina
Hi! This video is amazing. I’m starting Painting Reborns and this video is very helpful. I was wondering do you think it’s ok if I use “Baby flesh” instead of “flesh 08” paint from bountiful baby? 🌸
Did you put a base coat like some reborn artists do before veining or any painting, or are you painting on the bare vinyl? I am new so want to see your process right from the very beginning. I didn’t see you paint anything over the kit before this step so I just wanted to confirm that you are painting on the bare vinyl.
My flesh 08 layer or two I do before veining are my base layers. I don’t use medium as a base layer I think that’s mainly done when air dry paint tiring. I feel the paint won’t seep Into the vinyl as it should if you varnish before starting to paint . I feel the varnish would block the paint from dying into the vinyl. I’ve never needed to varnish first.
Hi do you also have a website that you sell your dolls on? Cause i would love to purchase one of your dolls. April marsh Greenville south Carolina thank you so much 🤩😍
I know this is a long shot that you will respond but here goes: I bought a reborn baby from someone on FB marketplace for $75. It was dark out when i bought her and when i got home i realized the paint job pn her is HORRIBLE and looks nothing like the picture. Can i repaint it?
This is wonderful! Thank you so much for doing this. I am painting with the new Irresistables heat set paints and they are awesome. I am loving them. I am using lavender spike oil as it's healthier than odorless thinner. Have you tried the spike oil or linseed oil?
You are amazing at presenting the information in a way that anyone can follow and create an amazing reborn
Thank you! I am watching all I can before I start to paint.
Thank You, so much for your video, trying to learn everything I can, just so much to remember.
You’re very welcome! Happy to help!
Thank you for this video, I just finished it! I played it while I was working on my reborning
Nice!❤️
Thank you so much! This is the best tutorial I have seen! 💖💖💖
Thank you so much! I’m a new artist and I found this soooooo helpful! ❤
I plan to watch this again while I practice painting on a reborn baby! Thanks for sharing this lovely video and series!!💯💯❤️❤️👍🏽💐
You’re very welcome!❤️

Do you do mottling and veining??
Beautiful!
Thank you!
The video is great! 👍👍👍
Where can I get the wooden stand for the limbs? I'm also having a hard time buying bountiful baby flesh 08, do they restock frequently?

Drying/baking Wood stand/rack for 25.99 dollar - Dollsbysandie. 😊
Can you bake in a regular oven

thank you very much this is great still watching you. is the paint acrylic
I would love to be able to do this

Could you tell me please how many layers?🙏🌷

You can use baby skin I just find it’s much paler than flesh 08
Beautiful work Jennie
do you have any alternatives for the paper glaze? I can't seem to find it in craft stores. P.S this is a great video!
I have only ever used the paper glaze. Should be able to find it at Walmart or any craft shop. Maybe by tacky glue or crafting glue not sure.
Where did you get the plugs you used when you washed them? Is it something you made or bought?
Great video 😊
Thank you!

Do you make silicone babies? I want one
Yes
You can check out my work on Facebook at Inspired By Babies or Bells Jen.
Thank you 😊
Do you neutralize your kits first?
I never need to neutralize first. I’ve never neutralized.
How many layers of each mottling color do you do?
@@00SweetBitter I explain it all in my tutorial there r several layers
THANK YOU🎉
I need to paint a doll already put together with body. how would I paint it or should I?
@@brendaandrews4023 I would remove the parts from the cloth body by snipping the zip ties and empty the parts of anything they r filled with first.
Will it look different if I don’t bake it
If you don’t bake Genesis heat set paint the paint will smear and rub off. You have to heat it in order for the vinyl to absorb it.
I ha e a silicone doll qnd she is peeling how do you take care of that
She was not originally mine
I have not had any experience with silicone doll repair.
Hi do you also have a website that you sell your dolls on? Cause i would love to purchase one of your dolls. April marsh Greenville south Carolina thank you so much 🤩😍
Can you please give me the list of the colors that you used?
I go over the colors in my tutorials 😊
bonjour pourquoi metre le bebe au four esque le plastique va pas fondre correctement

I can’t find the video how to paint hair on a reborn
I am sorry I don’t typically paint hair on my reborns.
I was gona suggest puppy pads.
Thrift stores and Facebook marketplace is great 2 find nuwaves
You seem to paint out of the picture all the time we never get to see you paint on it hardly you need to fix your camera
At times yes it goes off camera while I’m painting. A new tutorial will be out at some point.
The word pounce is used to much
Lol

It’s a painting technique - of course it’s used a lot!
What else is she supposed to say?
I used to reborn but I’d rather buy dolls than paint. 😂

I used to add linseed oil just one or two drops with my odorless thinner when doing creases but I ended up found I no longer need to do that.
