Nice vid like always. I have a wraith and bomber. I recommend vp rear chromoly axle shafts. Part VPS08081. Ive had my first set for 6 years on my wraith and never bent it.

Never really understood the super fast servos in a vehicle like this. Love me some Axial bomber though. That Castle motor is pretty sweet a lot of juice for a bomber would be kinda neat with the 2 speed trans.
I just replaced the front shafts on my scx10 and used those same axle shafts and they are strong
Another great video! What size motors are the Ultra 4K running in their Bombers? I have a 2850kv Mamba x esc combo would work or do you like a higher KV for that type of competition?

The longer link of bomber makes it much easier to hang up, so it does't perform well than scx10 platform?

Also, can you test out some Yeah Racing driveshafts?
I have not had luck with low end driveshafts, not that they are bad but they wear out fast from my experience in the past.
If GPM do some Axle Shafts, can you consider trying them?
Well I've got Vanquish in it now
Dluxfab.com is going to be the toughest axles you can get. They fit super shafty axle housings. I think I've bent or broke every other axle out there for the bomber.
What's your battery recommendation for this set up. I just bought this exact motor and having a hard time finding a battery that will fit in this small battery compartment. What your battery of choice and does this motor absolutely need 5000 or higher?
I run it on 3000mah 3S mostly. Never an issue.

You forgot to list where to get the front axles/universals and THEY are what I wish to put on my 'list'. For my driving/terrain, the OEM servo is doing a good job and I think they're about $20 to replace when it fails. Or I have a favorite(used in my TRX-4) 444oz-inch @ 6.0V Savox for $70 (w/alloy horn) offered on Amazon daily. If you're gonna bash it your gonna break it.

First to Comment! I think you finally beat me up enough... I'm gonna get a crawler. Seems like so much to do to it to get it worth anything. I also don't have a place to really run one for what it is lol... But I'm gonna get one! Lol
get a trx6 put a hobbywing axe in it the thing goes anywhere straight up cliffs and its fun to take to the parks and run it on the hiking trails I even made a little trailer out of a plastic ammo can for that to hold my water and spare battery
The Bomber isn't really a crawler. Its a rock racer. Its wheelbase is kind of long for rock crawling. Just my opinion though
Pick up a trx4 .....you can have plenty of fun without upgrading it.....just work on your “driver mod”. Some crawling experience will illuminate what hardware mods( if any) You need for your driving spots.
Trust me....you will find plenty of places to crawl😎
I also recommend the traxxas trx4 but the sport. You dont have all the bells and whistles but a lot less stuff to break also!
Bone stock, lower the body as much as you can and its a beast. Like all rtrs the servo isn't the best but gets the job done. I replaced mine with a $20 Amazon cheapo and threw on a pair of Duratrax deepwoods tires just because and I am very hard on my rigs, my idea of maintenance is running it through a mudpudle lol. Ive had mine since they came out and havnt broke anything!
I live in sw Louisiana and I hear you about the hohum terain lol but that's the cool part about crawlers/trail trucks everything is a obstacle lol. Get out in the country and find ditches with water erosion and they become 1/10 scale ravines...or rivers depending lol.
I highly recommend the go slow world of tiny trucking! ✌
@@thomasgross8289 honestly the sport is not a bad choice put a all metal 2 speed transmission in with the money saved and change everything over to brushless
For the Price point and upgrades this seems to be a Fragile vehicle.
