Aftertone its much more likely that guitar riffs represent nines theme, im pretty sure it would be in character for celica to be the vocals

If I had to assign a music genre to this, I would probably call it Operatic, Progressive Electronic Instrumental Metal.
This song really sounds more like a murakumo style song than something that encapsulates the mercuries.
Kain it really does, the synth represents the status of both fighters as nonhuman entities, the guitar being the power the PFDs hold and the chorus is the impending doom that comes from this clash.
Kain yes !! I use 11, 12 and 13 and Play this song or The Highlander, it goes great with them

Elena Song because it's a tragic fight. Mother vs Daughter or Sister vs Sister, Nine is insane, Kokonoe is being eaten by her own guilt and Celica has little time left to make peace with her sister and is already long dead in the present.

I wonder why they didn't place this when Jubei and Nine are vs each other in the Blazblue Central Fiction. Because it makes sense if Nine is fighting a member of her family. Celica, Kokonue and Jubei. I wish they were in Blazeblue Cross tag battle...

It is a direct rip. I'm not sure you can buy the CD seperately, as I got it with the game as part of a "special edition" purchase the site was doing.

You can get the soundtrack by purchasing the games at Steam, though. The first 3 games are well around the price of a CD. And the 4th is not too expensive either. I even bought Guilty Gear Isuka because I wanted the soundtrack.

The Mercury’s story is honestly the most interesting part about blazblue but it’s glossed over for Ragna, Jin, Noel, and Izanamo’s basic ass anime story =\
