I just can't get onboard with the look of this. All the shapes on the top and front panels do not sit right with me. also, the front glass would look better without the bend. I also suspect that the side fantray might give you problems fitting fans that is not montech (at least 140mm. And 2x120mm will just look stupid in that tray). That said, i'm more of a O11 kind of guy.
I'm really glad Montech is playing the value game. Not just budget. But actually value for price, mind you. Their cases are cheap but without being "cheap". Not to mention they don't skimp on air vents as well. My go to case brand recommendation if case is not that important for PC buyer.
Such a relaxing case, the curves are great, not too big not too small, those fans and the front light are so beautiful while keeping it at a fair price.
I looove this case, I'm so getting it. It's so lovely and refreshing whenever I see other ladies that are involved with computers and tech. Love your content ♥
Built my latest PC using the King Pro and have to say that it was an easy and beautiful experience. My previous 3 builds were all using the Lian LI 011D(x2) and Lian Li Lancool, and I have to say that I like the Montech King 95 Pro a lot more, and not only for the build results but the ease of building the PC. The value for this case is insane especially considering that I spent more on just buying extra Lian LI fans then the Montech case itself. Already the quality of the Lian Li fans have shown that they are not great with 2 failed fans after 1 year. Great review, I love the level of detail that you provide. It's nice to see companies breaking the mold whereby pushing the industry for better value options without a drop in quality.
Montech has been coming out with banger cases for many budgets and many models in the cheaper and midrange pricing rage yet competing with features found in high end or very high end cases! The past 2.5 years has seen Montech really grow in the pc case market and I’ve love a few of their designs! As an ITX builder, I’d love to see an ITX version of this case 🥰😇💪👍
I just purchased this Montech King 95 Pro in Gentleman Black. I'm absolutely Smitten by the looks, Ease, And the spaciousness.. Thanks for excellent professional review! Cheers!

Hi Nada. I've always used black cases for my PC builds. Thanks to your review, I'm considering building my next PC in the white case. Your review has made sure that this case will be in high demand. As of today, neither my Newegg nor AMAZON accounts list this case. I might have better luck later. Please have a nice day and a joyful Christmas.
Hi, again, Nada. I just find it so hard to believe how FAST you reply to my comments. This makes your channel the best of the best. Maybe, with some luck, I'll find this case under my Christmas tree. I hope you find a special gift under your tree.@@TechTesters
Just spray your own case?! Best enamel paints, airbrushes et. I used to make my own custom cases before they were even thought about! Handles off of radical molten metal furniture, porthole with Perspex and rubber car windscreen beading. Design your own and save yourself a ton.
The all-white build is really pretty. I was thinking about a GPU holder since the start of the video, good that you adressed it! Would really like to see what it looks like with one, I think that's one of the downsides of the "aquarium"-like cases...
Thanks! They could have added something very simple to the diagonal part where the grommets are tbh, but at least you should have some budget left over to find another solution when compared to some of the competitors :D
Esse era o vídeo que eu estava precisando, muito detalhado e bem explicado. Obrighado por esse conteúdo maravilhoso! Não achei nenhum vídeo tão bom assim aqui no TH-cam Brasil.
So, this case is amazing. So much so, that I'm moving my newly built PC (just finished it last Thursday, as in 6 days ago) to this case. I did an all white build in an MSI Gungnir 300r Airflow and this just looks soooooooo much better. I was able to get the Pro version in white and 3 additional fans so the AIO matches for just a couple dollars more than I paid for the MSI Case. The cable management and the rgb/fan hub are well-thought-out additions. I still may use splitter cables for a couple sets of fans just to have more control over different zones in the case, depending on how well the airflow is, but it's great to have options and flexibility.
@@TechTesters "traditional" is the absolute perfect way to phrase it. I'm all about functionality, but I'm also a tad vain and aesthetics are important.
@@RonnieRukusTVexactly! I build a new all white pc, 1 year ago, in the nzxt h7 flow, and i like it a lot, but i actually want to transfer my build over into the pro version, and add 3 more montech fans to the 360 aio, so it astetically will match🙂 I really like the astetics of the King 95 as well as the features and attention to detail.
Great review one of the best reviews showcasing this case. When you stroked the case @02:05 I felt like I was watching the Price is Right with Bruce Forsyth, it was such a well known feature for show🤣
Well done. Your attention to detail in that you switched to matching Montech fans on the AIO is commensurate with Montech's attention to detail by using white front panel cables and white wiring on the ARGB connections on the white model.
The best thermal config for this case is to swing the side fans around to the front, get traditional intake fans (the side fans are reverse blade out of the box), and go front to back. Your GPU thermals improve and your CPU thermals stay the same. You could also load in the two reverse blade fans back into the side and it would have a lot more RGB and fans, thermals won't change, but you might be able to run the fans at slightly lower speeds.
Compaired to any other fishtanks out there i think the is thé best case for your buck now days. The only unfortunat minus point is the no vertical stand like the hyte has. They shut have made a pro-2 version and then used the money for the 6 fans in the pro-1 for a vertical stand in the pro-2 version because then it would really be competitive to any other case. Offcourse if you are handy enaugh you buy a vertical stand your self and just make it the way you want, but it would have been a nice addon to the case family. The overal quality of this case is just amazing, there's no minus points in the quality of this case and if you like fishtanks that look good on your desktop to show off to others, this is the case to go with! I build it with the interstellar v-2 fans wich made this case even look more stand out compaired to the fans you get with the pro version. If you ask me, it's an absolute banger compaired to what you pay for it.
I got the Montech Sky Two for my first ever PC build and I love it. However since checking out other builds since completing mine I've really been interested in the dual chamber cases for the PSU in the rear. This Montech looks amazing for thr price!!
Love your reviews, always relevant info presented so well. I've always liked white cases, but that blue colour looks nice. The fit & finish is a bummer, not a deal breaker for me, as it appears to be only visual. Overall a really nice case & well priced. Thanks Nada!
Thank you for posting this excellent case review. I watched it twice. You present extremely well during the entire review. The videography work is outstanding in quality. I notice how thoughtfully the film set is furnished, too. You cover every detail of the case, and I can see that overall, you think the product is pretty good (while still pointing out examples of poor product fit and finish.) I appreciate very much the temperature measurements you present, too. You make an excellent point that the case does not offer support for a heavy GPU. I wonder how a system builder can secure the case and contents of the finished system from theft? Speaking for myself, I do like the look of curved glass. I notice how your videography shows how the interior of the fully lit case might look when viewed through the curves. Perhaps there are people who will take the "glass case look" one step further and provide a case built of stained glass? (I'm sure The Netherlands has women artists who exceed the work of Clara Driscoll. Think of how her "Daffodil" would look if presented in the form of a computer case.) I compliment you for your excellent presentation, the helpful measurements, and the outstanding videography.
Thanks! As for theft, I guess Kensington locks will be fine to stop a jealous passerby at a LAN party, but I doubt you'll ever stop anyone who is really determined?
8:15 I just purchased the Black King 95 Pro from NewEgg yesterday, and they're including a (Montech branded) GPU support for free (I believe it's normally priced at $12.99 US), so I guess I found myself special deal. (AFAIK they're only doing it for a limited time, and only with the Pro models.) I also purchased a pair of Montech's *AX* (standard) 140mm ARGB Fans _just in case_ I decide to use the included mesh front panel with the side fan bracket pivoted into the front position. Another reviewer pointed out that the two included reverse-flow 140's could (with the fan mount pivoted forward) then be re-mounted right where they were previously, using the mounting holes in the frame behind the pivoting fan mount's default location.
Beautiful build. Question, I noticed you swapped out the NZXT fans that came with it's AIO kit with Montech fans. When you changed out to the Montech fans, did you use a regular flow or Reversed fan? Thanks in advance.
The Pro runs my RTX 4090 5 degrees cooler than in my Cooler Master H500p Mesh and that's some achievement. I'm using the mesh front and two extra Montech 140mm fans, so I guess I'm silly getting those temps down🤣 Nice video👍🏼
Thanks for the review! The case looks really good, although removing the dust filter from the rear might be an issue if the PC is on the desk. It's a cheaper option than the others models that you mentioned, but I wonder if a Liquid Freezer II 360 would fit at the top. I've been looking for that info but to no avail.
I have the King 95 non pro case and love it. ! thing to know ahead of time. The 2-140mm or 120mm you can mount on the back of the case will NOT support Lian Li Uni fans. Those fans are a little wider than most other 140mm fans. I had to go with the 120mms because of it. Otherwise LOVE IT. Show me a better case at this price point with all these features.
Quik questions regarding the wiring. I just recently purchased both the NZXT AIO 360mm and the Montech King 95 pro, along with 3 Montech 120mm rgb fans based off your link. Do you wun the 3 fans (replaced in the AIO) wiring into the Montech controller block provided by the case and not use the controller provided by NZXT. I know that NZXT AIO and cam software only works with NZXT products so I am pullzed how to put this all together like you have in the example
Its been a while but Im pretty sure I completely ignored NZXTs hub and just connected everything directly to the case/motherboard. Anything to keep it simpler with software usually.
How do the Montech fans compare to other brands in terms of volume? Does Montech offer, for purchase, a front panel fan bracket for fans to go along with the mesh panel?
I think the case is a great value for the pro version with the included 6 fans for $160, but I think the NZXT H6 Flow with 3 included fans for $110 is a better value. Obviously, the H6 Flow comes with 3 fans instead of 6, but it's $50 cheaper.
Guess it depends where you live, here the price difference between the Nzxt h6 flow vs Montech king 95 pro is quite small. Also I think it is worth it,I like it a lot that it comes with 6 argb fans + fan hub+ other features, curved glass and edges all around, more room clearance for GPU, ect.
Love this case! My only thing is im new to pc and im not too educated in this cases hub and I’m just a little lost in how does it connect to the motherboard and all power on smoothly? i heard about people switching certain things to the motherboard instead, whatever that is for?
I have one last question. For the aio this may be a dumb question but did you have to buy reverse fans or regular fans when mounting the fans to the aio? Thanks
@@electronica009 build is done, took a bit longer than expected since I have had an operation and don't feel 100%. Case is easy to work in and looks even better in person, got 3 extra fans coming so ill have to add them 2moz. Thing is huge compared to my old MATX 280x lol, only really upgraded as I am a higher end user and the higher end cards do not fit at all in that case ( I think only the FE cards do and ASUS pro art cards BUT they butt up against the panel ). 100% recommend this case for the price.
Wondering if this would be worth it over a Hyte y40. Also, the price isn’t much less than the y60 here in Canada for the pro version so it makes the choice a bit more difficult when factoring price
Where does the power supply go? It concerns me because I wasted my money on a cheap Zalman T7 with a bottom PSU mount. The 12v CPU power cable doesn't reach the 8-pin socket on the upper left of the MB. Now I need to either buy an extension cable so it will reach, or buy a case with a top-mounting PSU layout. The Montech King looks like the PSU mounts near the top of the case, which would suit my MB needs (ASUS Prime X570-P).
Montech please make a XL version. 3 cms intake on the bottom (feet). Support for 140mm rear, 3-140mm and 420mm radiator top and bottom, E-ATX motherboard support, push pull support for a 280mm AIO on the side. Also make it 4 cms taller to accommodate easily 30mm fans and a ticker radiator fan configuration
@@TechTesters I recently moved to the phanteks 420mm on a 140 mm-fan exclusive build. I did it in the Bequiet shadow base 800 fx. But my GPU temps are higher than my previous o11 XL because of the lack of bottom fans. Even that, I prefer the 140mm fans. They are just more pleasant to have running than the noisier 120mm fans. I wish we had better options, but we don't. The new o11 Evo XL bracket/gpu mounting system is stupid, you can't use any vertical GPU mounting system, and the back fan support is only 120mm, Also there is too much space on the top and bottom, that is why I believe it is better to make only a two140mm on the side and you make the case shorter. The Phanteks nv9 is not out yet, but it is really expensive, I don't like the bottom fans to be in an angle, I hate the giant forehead and I believe that the back cable system is ridiculously unnecessary.
I’m just wondering, what’s that white cable that you used for the aero graphics card? Mine comes with an ugly black one and I don’t want to risk blowing it up 😂
Is it possible to take the case apart enough to use the outside pieces of the blue cases, and the inside of the white? I want the blue case, but with white on the inside, not black. Either that, or I will have to paint which never looks as good as you would want it to.
Do these fan's daisy chain at all because I'd be looking to use both the side and front for intake fans as well as the bottom and exhaust out the top and back , I've almost decided on getting this over the Dynamic XL case
Good looking case. I am looking into white cases to change from my black lian li (razer edition). I think i might go for Fractal North since i have an asus tuf 4090, which is grey to match the inside of white north.
Hi looking at getting this case and doing the same AIO set up. Did you plug the fan power into the kraken wiring and the RGB into the case? If not how did you do it?
I really love the way you do review on these cases, there is so much details that you talked about in this video that others didn't. Love it! And this case is the one I am looking for and the price is just Right! All white RGB is the Epic one to build!
I want to buy this soon I think if dont spend my money on other things xD btw what is solution about GPU sag I have Asus TuF 7900xtx OC have sag that TUF giving you one with the all gpu ? I cant spand extra money on gpu sag to
Because with these temps there was no real reason to get even lower ones. And you’d end up with the RGB pointing back instead of front. I talk about it in the video :)
i am planing to get this case with a ryzen5 7600x and rtx 4060 should i got three aditional fans on the top and also buy the case with 6 fans pre installed?
What’s the size of the fans you used for the aio on the white model? Is it the same size as thr exhaust fan in the back of the case that you get with the 95 pro king version?
@@TechTesters thank you I love this video! I bought the same case in the pro version and can’t wait to move my parts from my older Case to the new case! Thank you 😊😊
The bent glass kills it for me. It creates a distortion to the view that pretty much makes the glass useless. If it wasn't for that, it would be a nice case. It's also going to be extremely hard to clean that dust filter as it comes out the back.

i think you haven't heard od 1st Player MI8 . Now that is a valuable dual Chamber Case
God, this case looks very well.
Agreed!
I'm working on the H6 in the next few days too, will be an interesting comparison for sure!
Thanks
Just regular fans :)
@@TechTesters thank you!
Just got mine in and will be building in it. Lets gooo
Hf!
post an update bro
Just behind where the motherboard is. It shouldn't have issues reaching the top of the motherboard unless the cable is extremely short.
Nice case, thanks for the review.
My pleasure!
King 95 Pro XL. Sounds great tbh
I love it when you call me "Big Poppa."
I’m just wondering, what’s that white cable that you used for the aero graphics card? Mine comes with an ugly black one and I don’t want to risk blowing it up 😂
What do you think about the GAMEKM Genki Bomb Pc Case ? It is € 85 but looks futuristic with good airflow in a small form-factor !
Never heard of it, but it looks interesting!
dankjewel!
Is it possible to take the case apart enough to use the outside pieces of the blue cases, and the inside of the white? I want the blue case, but with white on the inside, not black. Either that, or I will have to paint which never looks as good as you would want it to.
How can I sync the fans if I use a nzxt kraken cooler?
Love the assassins creed earrings.
Case of the year
Value-fishtank-case of the year for sure.
Love the review ❤ Can the montech logo inside taken out? It's tacky
Thanks! And Im not sure. I’ll be rebuiding this one for my youngest later this year, i can check then!
any plans on reviewing the Inwin Dubili? Especially the champagne gold
Not seen it yet, no plans currently but who knows!
5:03 Do you mean 360mm FANS at the bottom of the case, correct? Thank you
Do these fan's daisy chain at all because I'd be looking to use both the side and front for intake fans as well as the bottom and exhaust out the top and back , I've almost decided on getting this over the Dynamic XL case
Nah. Simple connections on these fans. One of the reasons they are so cheap.
Good looking case. I am looking into white cases to change from my black lian li (razer edition). I think i might go for Fractal North since i have an asus tuf 4090, which is grey to match the inside of white north.
Also a very nice case!
Did you removed the inside film of the front panel ?
Nice review but I can't get over how tiny this lady is lol. At first I thought it was a big case then I realized those are 140mm fans next to her
Was gonna build in the h9 flow and get li an li fans with are £300 but I like these fans in this case
The H9 is really nice too, but it's definitely a lot more expensive.
Hi looking at getting this case and doing the same AIO set up. Did you plug the fan power into the kraken wiring and the RGB into the case? If not how did you do it?
All the rgb and the fan cables go into the fan/rgb hub of the case :)
How did you take the top of the rgb header off? I’m trying to connect my fans to the top but it’s full
I’m taking about the 3 pin 5 volt rgb port
The three spots on mine are full
Can you vertically mount larger GPUs in this? Will it have enough space for the bottom fans?
This one vs Antec C5? besides price (kinda the same) which one is better? like fan noise and so on, if anyone knows plz reply :)
I cant spand extra money on gpu sag to
why you dont test with the fan folded down behind the mesh front ? they go behind it and should allow a much better airflow to the gpu!
All the parts should be in the description. And yes they’re the same :)
@@TechTesters thank you I love this video! I bought the same case in the pro version and can’t wait to move my parts from my older Case to the new case! Thank you 😊😊
thankss
Not a fan of the fish tank look, I call it a theater pop corn popper look. I like this case though. I would use the mesh front.
The bent glass kills it for me. It creates a distortion to the view that pretty much makes the glass useless. If it wasn't for that, it would be a nice case. It's also going to be extremely hard to clean that dust filter as it comes out the back.
Good we have so many option😁 i love those round edges, compared to the other standard options o11 ect.
Between the king 95 and the o11 vision wich one is better , in terms on airflow? Its for a 5800x and a 6700xt
Both more than capable of cooling that combination. Pick the one you like subjectively tbh :)
The good thing is that it comes in blue steel
Could u make a test with the SABRENT Rocket 4 Plus-G 2TB Advanced Gaming ? supposed to be a better version of the previous Sabrent, Sabrent Plus! cuz it has this "Optimized for API DirectStorage" i can't rly find any good reviews or comparison
I'll see if I can get one :)
I got the black one but started getting the white but it will get dirty quik and fade later
Good looking bargain!
