There is no denying that this case for what you are getting @110 bucks is just an outstanding value! So many features and little touches such as all white cables, gromets, etc. just blown away and then to top it off the bent tempered front is icing on the cake, not to mention comes with an AF front to swap out if you need the extra airflow. Great review guys as usual!
Yeah it's a great value it but sadly I've already got a fractal torrent so I'll probably never need a new case again at least i wont for like the next 5 upgrades or something i can't justify buying annew csse when I've got one already. I wish i could biy like 20 cases and just builds pcs in all of them if i had the money I'd just buy loads of pc parts and set up my own pc building store
Agreed ! I wish that Montech would sell their products in my country. For the equivalent of $110 U.S., you can't even get to like 50% of what this case has to offer. Hats down to Montech ! Quality and a ton of options at such a price point are depicted from a fantasy in my country. Will definitely consider Montech, with my next build down the line. If the shipping and import taxes are not to off putting.
And for an extra 40 bucks you get 6 pre-installed ARGB fans on the pro. Then just mount your AIO up top. And if what Jay is saying is true, that the pro one ups everything, definitely worth it imo
I bought this case based on this review. Did my first build in 8 years in it. Easiest build I have ever done too (except for all of the complicated RGB connections that I never did before, but that is not on the case). Thanks for the review! I love the way it looks, the cooling is great, and it was very easy to build. Saved $125 compared to the O11 Dynamic XL that I was originally going to get.
They're also doing more color options than other manufacturers the sky two has 3 color options, the King 95 has four adding red to the roster, they also have two models for the King one with fans preinstalled and one without
This is BY FAR the best "bang for your buck" case I have seen yet. I love this case. Like a previous comment has stated, the mesh front panel attachment is the icing on the cake for me.
I'm impressed with the case and the extra parts (mesh front), without charging more for them. The price is very good for what you get there. All it needs is hinges on the back for the front glass so people don't have to worry about dropping it. (You already mentioned pulling the bottom filter out the front.) And as always, you represented the case fairly and completely Jay.
If I was making a new build I would definitely consider this. I am a sucker for curved corners especially on that glass. Plus white and silver is a good combo. Their overall color options looks good.
I kinda like this case, the price a features are hard to beat, The pro version comes with 2 x 140 side fans 3 x 120mm bottom fans and 1 rear 120mm with RGB.
I got the black Pro and it only cost me £109. On offer from £119. With all of the fans and the hub it was so worth it. Looking at the fan cost and a hub alone made the case pretty much feel free.
This is an excellent case that I would definitely buy if I didn’t already have a Corsair 5000d. I like the modularity and airflow from the bottom of it.
Looks like a hell of a deal. Sure it's superficially an O11 clone like everyone else is making, but it's got some interesting tweaks, and the curved tempered front panel glass and the option to swap out for a mesh front with front fan capability (while keeping side mount capability) is an insane value for the price.
Having just suffered installing high end components in a case that was half the price, and not even worth that, I am strongly considering buying this instead. UK based but its only £99 here, which is well worth it for what you get (compared to other cases I have looked at with less adjustability and room). I had to replace all the fans on the 'cheap' case so this is a brilliant replacement candidate. For £25 extra the case comes with 6 rgb fans installed which is a total bargain. Very very tempted. Thank you so much for this review. I'd love to see you installing into this case. I gave in and ordered the black pro case (I would have gone for a coloured one but my son wanted the black one). This will make installing the high end pc easy. Can't wait.
How did you find the King 95 Pro? I just built my first gaming PC with the black case. Cost me £109 I think. Reduced from £119. I feel like the fans and hub had I got them separately basically made the case feel free. I did find a few defects but I think at least one could be due to SCAN. It feels like this case was returned or something. I fixed some parts. However, the inside logo is scratched and there's a small dint in the top of the front curved piece of glass where the peel off protection was kind of peeled off, which is annoying. I'm hoping it doesn't have any structural impact.
Hey Jay, I have been watching for years and really love all your content. Your initial reviews of cases is very nice, but I would also like if you would build in them. I know that it might not be feasible because of time constraints, but I think there would be lots of value if you build a pc when reviewing a case. By building with it, you can show off what you love when building with it, or point out issues that may not be readily apparent when just having a look at it. Don’t take this as a diss though, I really love what you have been doing years. I just want to provide feedback :)
Agreed. I've built a few dozen PC's over the years but I _still_ will watch PC build videos for hours on end. Everything you do is decent, but PC builds are what a lot of us _really_ want to see, especially when featuring a new case. I'm sure the manufacturer would like to see a little extra effort put into demonstrating their product's capabilities too... They might even be inclined to sponsor more videos 😉
This might be the case for my next build. It seems like it might have decent cable management space. My one complaint with the Sky Two is that I ran out of cable space and had trouble getting the back panel on.
just updated my computer from an h510 flow to an air 903 max to sell when zen 5 releases, and also sold a pc featuring an air 100. Montech has been really changing the game with value, reliability, performance, and build experience. when zen 5 comes out i will be doing a build with the king 95 for sure
Really good looking case with lots of premium touches, like the colour coded cables. With regards to losing the flat rear when using the bottom PSU mount, I've removed the HD bays from my view 51 and covered the cut out with a piece of plexi and mounted a couple of FLT120 pump/res on it. Everything is doable.
I kind of like this better than my OG O11D. They plucked ideas from a bunch of great cases, added those hinged parts which I love, and overall made a pretty killer case.
My personal favorite is the Lian Li 216. We’re so fortunate that cases have gotten soooo much better than what we used to have in the past. Everyone wins, I love all the innovations that are being made
Man Montech really going out there and be competitive! They’re one of the cheapest cases but the quality is really good. And they’re starting to do away with the giant branding too. Keep it up Montech.
I absolutely love this case. The all white build looks amazing, the air flow is fantastic and it was super easy to build in. The best bang for the buck case there is. Unless you already have case fans get the Pro version.
Ok guys , got to call it. For people call this a copy is a joke. Lian li did not invent dual chamber case, it was already out there for years. And for KING 95 , it’s better and cheaper than O11 , so if it’s a copy , I think everyone should choose the better product !
Thank you for actually exploring this case and its features. There's way too many videos out there about this case from clueless builders who miss/didn't notice half of the features.
Ordered the Pro Black version of this case a couple of days ago, along with 5 AX fans to go with it, for the radiators I plan to put in it. Looking forward to building in it.
My kiddo had wanted the Hyte Y60 for Christmas but after seeing this case we both fell in love with it and it’ll be under the Christmas tree this year!
I got the pro version. Put my omen 25l in it. The omens internal USB port is pinned differently than normal. If u want the RGB to work, you need a external USB to internal USB port adapter and plug in the Razer croma to it for board to recognize it. Or repin the plug on the razor. Even if you don't use the included fan hub, pro is still cheaper than buying fans. Was my first case swap and this case made it super easy to work in.
I was expecting the price to be $200+ because of the amount of modularity it has. At $110-125 range, is VERY reasonable for a case like this. I was going to get an O11, but the case was too wide for where I wanted it, so I ended up getting a White Corsair 5000D Airflow. Height was not my issue, it was the width.
The benefit of removing the drive bay and mounting the psu at the top is that the large space left at the bottom has a nice big plate to mount aRGB and fan splitters.
Mine was delivered today. I want to add one side note here, spend the extra $40 bucks and get the pro case. You get 6 fans and a 1 to 10 fan/argb hub for that price. Two of those fans are reverse spin 140 argb for the back panel.
I got a montec air case 4 years ago with the controller and 3 rgb fans mounted to the case for $89 and it surprisingly has great air flow and all my fans still work perfectly fine
I had been thinking for a while that somebody would do the curved glass thing (I kinda remember it had been done before in a different way, perhaps it was not glass but acrylic), just did not expect it to be in this way. Now it's just a matter of time before someone comes up with a Y60 with a single curved glass I guess. Besides that, I am thankful for the buttons and ports not being on the top. I have been thinking about puting my pc on a shelf above my desk, but with most cases having the buttons and ports on top it does not seem very practical. Also, thanks for the 31 days of techmas. Last year I had covid around these dates and this series cheered me up.
Montech used to be one of those brands like DIYPC, I never took them seriously with what they were offering. Happy to say I just bought this case and am planning a hardline build in it.
well colour me impressed. pretty practical, enough airflow, probably wont be too bad a price in my country. I am considering a build in the Pro version since i caught a glimpse of it from a local distributer in there coming soon section
Very nice case, very user friendly I guess you could say, looks very pleasing to build in. I'm interested to see the thermals, if Steve feels so inclined to do so, especially given the options on layout configuration.
I might get this just to do a build in it, but Rigid tubed, and switch out the front to see the different set ups, or Jay could do that for us???? Maybe???
Think this is a great way to up the class on budget freindly builds. I like the appliance look w the round corners. Might upgrade my daughter cases to these since they will never really outgrow their budget systems 🤔. One loves red and one loves white. The blue should have been more of a Tiffany color I think.
It is always great to have options, so this case looks amazing with all the options it gives you for fans and such. Didn't expect that case to be right around $100, it looks (especially with that thick glass) like something that would be a fair bit higher on the price range so that is amazing. Definitely agree it is hard to get someone excited about a case, I remember computers back in the day were all in these steel frame plastic panel boxes and they basically all looked the same. There was nothing wrong with that because what really mattered was performance.
I remember I owned my Fractal Torrent case for a year, one day I was cleaning the front filters and realized that there was a tab to pull the bottom filter. I never realized it released the bottom filter out the front. It was the best random discovery, I had just assumed it released out the back like my old Cooler master Storm Stryker case did.
Haven't watched the whole video so no comment on how good or bad it was, but as I'm not all that happy with my current case (for complicated reasons, when I want to use all case fan mounts, I either have 4 exhaust and 2 intake or, as I've set up now, 2 intake and 1 exhaust fan on top. Which is weird and looks off-ish because my case fans have slightly less-bright leds on the back compared to the front), I am currently looking for a new case and I find myself drawn towards the O11 layout. Not sure if I'll actually end up with the OG Lian Li, as there are some very cool competitors who brought interesting new ideas. Might end up with the NZXT one you showed a couple of days ago, or even this one. Thanks for always showing us cool new stuff and testing it, it really helps :)
One detail about the O11 dynamic that i think is kind of interesting- Lian Li had been making that basic design for some time before they teamed up with der bauer, in $400 aluminum cases. The Der Bauer improvements, though, do add a lot to the case, not to mention making it somewhat smaller and more manageable, and much cheaper than the versions Lian Li made before that point. I have had my O11 dynamic for some years already, and i love it. I really am not tempted to 'upgrade', except, perhaps, if i need a bigger case i would buy the XL version.
the modular innovation with this is super dope. I'm not sold on the curved tempered glass. Even though it's more expensive to produce, it just has a cheap look to my eyes. But, minor complaint for a great design.
Thanks to your review I ordered this case (King 95 Pro). Just got it delivered yesterday and it is awesome. keeps my i5 13600K with a Corsair H150i and rtx 3080 nice and cool. Way better than my previous case NZXT Phantom 530.
I like white cases in general, purely because I think it improves visibility in the case. My existing PC is a black case and every thing in it is pretty much black too. Any time I’ve needed to open it up and work inside, I’ve had to find torches to illuminate the insides. I’ve been researching ahead on an imminent build, and I think I’m going to look at several white cases.
Interesting to see what you can get for a case of that price, when the value shows through in the execution as much as what's actually in the box. Another one of those nice products!
So many airflow options with the front mesh panel and the swing double hinge adjustment for the front fans. Thats pretty impressive for a budget case. This case definitely gonna sell well.
I honestly love this case and the price is amazing. It will be another year or so before I can upgrade my system but I want to get my current gear into a new case. Bearings are shot and super noisy on my 200mm H500P fans and if I'm going to spend like $50 replacing them I much rather get a new and better case. Also, I'm pretty sure that support bracket for the PSU can be removed and mounted to the drive cage when you swap locations.
I got the pro version of this that comes with 6 fans inc reverse blade ones, also comes with the ARGB hub that can hold up to 10 fans, it cost £129.95 which is ridiculously cheap for what you get!
Nice video broadie, you definitely always have some great vids. I appreciate your prospective on this case and I've based a lot of my own personal suggestions based off of your information. Thanks for all the great content.
Mounting the PSU in the top bay would let you get some really short custom cables for the 24 pin and 8pin CPU connectors on the motherboard. The SATA power cables if you needed them could go at the bottom, which would line the data cable up close to where the SATA ports are on most motherboards.
The one thing that I am surprised Jay didn't mention is the thumbscrews for the PCIE slots. That in itself is another "expense" that Montech absorbed, giving us simple removal and tightening, with the ability to torque it down with a screwdriver if necessary. And in stainless steel to boot! There really are a plethora of value added features included in this case that set it aside from the other manufacturers, including the fact that you can also get it in Red or Blue for only $10 more than the White case.
I gotta say. The amount of innovation that goes into this case is insane! Aesthetically pleasing on the outside and full of features on the inside without breaking your wallet. This is an easy recommendation
should do a review and build in coolermaster's shoe case. also $120 max for all these features, well worth the value. the features it has would normally amount to $180+
Wow I was seriously considering my next water cooled build being based on a Lian Li O11 Air Mini Glass 7 slot. But dang this case is SEXY. Love the curves, the hinges, the white connectors and its insane modular/connectivity. HA! you can mod magnetic closures. Thanks Jay!!!
On the inside of the rear swing out panel is where I would mount controllers, it has holes for HDD's but I would use the cage above the PSU for my mass storage drives. My current rig the RGB controller is just stuffed into the space where the extra cable length goes. Well on the bottom with the cables holding it down lol. Leave the RGB and fan cables loose between that panel and the grommets so it can swing open for maintenance, does not require cable management beyond tucking a cable behind it when closed so maintenance is easier with no snipping zip ties to do the work and zip tie it all up after, and 100% not visible(both cables and controllers)? Sounds like a win win to me. *edit, The loose fan/RGB cables behind the panel are not unmanaged messy cables, they are functional. Slack for opening the panel.
After your last montech case review I said that case would be my next case. I never ordered it. Now this review comes out and I flat out love it. So I head over to the website and OH MY GOD A RED ONE!!!! Thank you for helping me spend my money 😂
Are there any cases that are designed around the idea of chambering your liquid cooling away from sight? Maybe a chamber build with lots of ventilation that accommodates radiators and fans for liquid cooling, soft or hard tube? I would love to a system that has the benefits of liquid cooling with a stealth or cleaner aesthetic. I like the idea of chambering away all my cables and cooling and just show off the core components.
the more i see these fancy looking cases the more i like just slapping everting in a 4u case and rack mounting them. the clean look of just a monitor ,mouse and keyboard is just nice to have.
Hey Jay, I'd like to see you do a build that uses the thickest rads and fans you can find, ("quiet" fans though, not the super-chonktastic Delta fingereaters) and fill every mounting location in a case with them. UV lit would be awesome too, if you can find it.
I just built my first pc using a corsair 5000T after seeing hundreds of different designs, and even though I love mine, this is a very interesting case, that I'm 99% sure I will use this case for my next build
@@junodude456 I got the montech 95 pro, mainly because it came with a bunch of fans and a fan hub (with 2 or 3 extra unused headers) and came with a lot of well organized case parts and an optional mesh front if you wanted to have better temps
I'm liking it a lot, building in it was very easy and nice aside from the sheer weight of the case. And also I just removed the hard drive cage and it added a ton of extra space on top of the already spacious back side.
Wish they sent Jay the PRO model with fans and controller installed. It has 3 Reverse fans mounted on the floor to draw air through the bottom of the case and blow it into fans on a horizontal CPU. It also has 2 140MM Reverse fans that mount on swinging side mount and a Normal 120 exhaust fan out back. +++, all fans identical w/ARGB pointing in, no motor bars showing. SUPER CLEAN appearance. All you need are 3 Normal fans for AIO and you have perfect symmetry.
For the NON pro version without rgb hub. If my motherboard only has 3 5V ARGB headers (3A max), will i be able to connect 10 argb fans (9 case fans and 1 cpu cooler fans) AND the front panel light strip? Thermalright argb fans btw.
I spent 20 minutes at MicroCenter examining this case before ordering it. I'll pick it up tomorrow. Hopefully, my TaiChi won't look ridiculous being an eatx.
I'm blown away on this one as the price compared to all the very premium features is crazy that they make money on it. It's good to see Montech rising to the top tier of Case makers and changing things up a little 👍

These Neat Looking Computer Cases Still Remind Me Of Fish Tanks I Have Seen Ay Pet Smart, Pet Co And Pets Supply Plus . . . lol . . .
Would love to see you do a custom loop in this, I think it would turn out really well with all the customization of it
Being a person who has a limited budget, this case is definitely on my list of cases to consider (black version though).
How can it be a copy when it beats O11 in features and price? Plus it looks amazing for sure.
Maybe???
Regardless of how one might feel about them copying a design, the value of what one is getting is amazing. Bravo!
I feel like Montech are a great choice for those on a tighter budget. I used a sky two for my new build and I'm really happy with it
I bought the Pro. With Rgb and Pwm controller include and 6 Fans, im really happy, what a case...And what a price. Very nicely done case.
this is it, this is the fish tank ive been waiting for. I love the rounded and soft vertical edges with the sharp horizontal edges.
For those that are curious the side panel that flips open can be removed via two screws so you can mount a radiator on the side.
Ordered my wife the blue one she will love it.
I wish I would have known about this case 2 weeks ago, I love this case! I love the rounded edge!
Love the flexibility of the front panel especially when it come included! Don't have to worry about buying them separately.
absolutely love my black version of this, great to build in and beautiful to look at
Thanks to your review I ordered this case (King 95 Pro). Just got it delivered yesterday and it is awesome. keeps my i5 13600K with a Corsair H150i and rtx 3080 nice and cool.
Way better than my previous case NZXT Phantom 530.
What are the thermals at idle and gaming?
Iv been loving the Fractal Torrent, massive air flow
Would be nice to actually mount things & see the fit. Just pop a mobo with cpu cooler and 4090 and other gpus. And also a radiator on that hinge thing
Lian Li also ripped off cases when they first started and yet when other companies do the same to Lian Li suddenly they're bad and we call them out
I bought the Pro version of the case. My first dual chamber case and the fact its so easier to build in was good.
I think that yeah they went with a popular overall look, but it looks like they paid attention to the details as far as for a case in this price.
I'm building in the King 95 pro next week. Looking forward to seeing what it's like
I got the pro version of this that comes with 6 fans inc reverse blade ones, also comes with the ARGB hub that can hold up to 10 fans, it cost £129.95 which is ridiculously cheap for what you get!
I ordered mine two days ago on Amazon, It's supposed to be delivered today. I can't wait! (I got the pro) to do a case swap for my omen 30L
This is DEFINATELY gonna be the case for my next build
So there is space for HDD? I was wondering about that...
After your last montech case review I said that case would be my next case. I never ordered it. Now this review comes out and I flat out love it. So I head over to the website and OH MY GOD A RED ONE!!!! Thank you for helping me spend my money 😂
I mean, who actually buys lian-li now when you should pay another 40 bucks for an extra mesh front lmao
Wow, impressive attention to detail with the white cabling, Montech!
the more i see these fancy looking cases the more i like just slapping everting in a 4u case and rack mounting them. the clean look of just a monitor ,mouse and keyboard is just nice to have.
It's all fun and games and then years from now you're glass panels can't fit or align properly and you'll realize why four post is better than three!😄
Hey Jay, I'd like to see you do a build that uses the thickest rads and fans you can find, ("quiet" fans though, not the super-chonktastic Delta fingereaters) and fill every mounting location in a case with them. UV lit would be awesome too, if you can find it.
Well I just found the case for my build. Thank you Jay!!
I just built my first pc using a corsair 5000T after seeing hundreds of different designs, and even though I love mine, this is a very interesting case, that I'm 99% sure I will use this case for my next build
I like the case and the amount of features
might be in my next build
current rig is 8 years old
Now i gotta decide between this or an h6 flow
I'm in the same boat, which one did you end up going with?
@@junodude456 I got the montech 95 pro, mainly because it came with a bunch of fans and a fan hub (with 2 or 3 extra unused headers) and came with a lot of well organized case parts and an optional mesh front if you wanted to have better temps
I'm liking it a lot, building in it was very easy and nice aside from the sheer weight of the case. And also I just removed the hard drive cage and it added a ton of extra space on top of the already spacious back side.
@sacredeyes3508 Right on, good to know! Thanks for the info!
I have a montech x3 that has served me very well. Great cases for the money.
Ball snap attachment for the 120mm fan rail on the top would be neat i think, so you could take it off if need be.
