I gave birth naturally and even though the very end was tough, I would do it again. My water broke in the middle of the night and was told to wait several hours before going in unless contractions got bad. After going to the hospital and walking the halls for 5+ hours my labor was induced. Everyone scared me about it before with horror stories but it was totally fine! My pain wasn't off the charts like everyone said it was going to be. You'll know when you are there if it's right for you. A very supportive partner (which I know your husband is) is key! The best advise that I received which I wish I could tell every woman preparing for labor: instead of worrying or being anxious about being in labor, cherish the beginning of labor as your last moments with your baby inside of you. When I was walking the halls for hours and hours, I was holding/rubbing my belly thinking how that was going to be the last time we were that close. I prayed and thank God for allowing me to have the experience. As it turns out, God has only allowed us to have 1 child (I have secondary infertility) and I'm now extra grateful that instead of fretting the process, I was able to slow down and take it all in. I'm praying for you and your husband and can't wait to hear that your baby boy has arrived. Lots of love!
You're welcome although I feel a little bad I made you cry! I never comment on any videos bc people can be a little crazy here but I have been following your journey for a while now and wanted to share my experience in hopes it would encourage you and maybe others who read it. 😘
Lindsay Aiken that is beautiful I had a similar experience my water exploded at night when a snow storm was coming and I had to just breathe and I wasn't given hours before induction they induced pretty soon but I had a natural birth and it was something I would do again in a heartbeat i look at my now 10 week old and just thank God that he was safe and sound although we had some scary moments and it wasn't all to plan it was imperfectly perfect! This is a beautiful comment. I have not had the pleasure or honor to be a mommy yet but this is a beautiful comment and so touching. even though I am not a mommy or not being a mommy yet you completely changed my thoughts and perspective. so beautiful you are an amazing person ♡
Currently watching this @4:30am from my hospital bed, just gave birth a few hrs ago to a healthy baby boy💙👶🏻 Best of luck! Being a Momma is a beautiful thing❤❤
I'm 27 weeks this week and I only have about 2 months left before I give birth to my baby girl in May. I'm excited! Congrats to Nitraa and Colton you guys will see your baby boy soon!
MegaStargirl22 Congratulations! I'm due in June (currently 25 weeks) with a baby girl and it's such an exciting time. Praying for a smooth delivery and healthy baby for you :-)
Nitra I've so much enjoyed watching your pregnancy videos & vlogs, especially since I was also pregnant. I was so excited when I saw your announcement video, i couldnt have thought of another couple that deserved a baby more than you and Colton! You guys are such kind, happy, & loving people. Your faith in God honestly strengthens my faith in Him & your happiness/positivity inspires me to try to be the same way. You two will be awesome parents! I'm a mommy of two little girls, a one year old and a one month old. Like you, i watched labor stories during my first pregnancy too & found them helpful, so I know where you're coming from & I will share both of my labor stories with you! With my first daughter my water broke around 10pm and I had contractions after that but they weren't painful. I went to the hospital and at 6am I was only dilated at 1cm so they induced me to speed things up. The pain wasn't bad at first but they had to increase the medicine every couple of hours because my body was being stubborn and dilating slowly and the more they increased the medicine, the worse the pain got. Once I got to 5cm I got the epidural because I couldn't take the pain anymore and I didn't feel any pain at all after that. They even turned off the epidural medicine before I began pushing and I still didn't feel pain. The epidural numbed me so much that I couldn't even feel if I was pushing so that's why they turned off my medicine. I ended up pushing for 3 hours and labor was 28 1/2 hours total. My legs were numb & tingly for about a month because of the epidural, but that's because the anesthesiologists had problems with my spine (2 different anesthesiologists had to try). With my second daughter, my water did not break and I got contractions at 1am. They started off pretty intense, definitely more painful than the ones I experienced after my water broke with my 1st pregnancy. but the contractions would lower in intensity for about a good hour & then pick back up again. (I found that walking around and sitting up helps the pain! Laying down just makes the pain so much worse. So just try out different sitting and laying positions or walking to help with your pain if you experience any.) Once I got to the hospital I was 5 cm and by the time they took me to the delivery room I was 6cm. I got the epidural because I couldn't handle the pain anymore, my water busted shortly after and 30 mins later I was 10cm. This time with the epidural, i could feel pressure but not necessarily pain. I was really cold and my body was shaky after getting the epidural but the nurse said it was normal. I pushed for about 5-10 mins and then she came out at 4:34 pm. Labor was much shorter, easier, & pleasant the 2nd time for me. My youngest daughter was 1lb and 1oz smaller than her older sister so I think that made pushing easier and faster as well. I think your mindset has a lot to do with it too. I was so miserable the 1st time that I kept thinking "can this be over already" but with my 2nd child I just focused on my excitement to meet her & i was determined to make this labor experience much better than my first and it worked! I also kept telling myself "if almost every woman can do this, then so can you!" lol. Just try to keep a positive mindset & remember you'll have your baby boy after enduring labor, he's your prize so to speak. Having the support of your family & husband helps tremendously too. Both times my husband constantly held and kissed my hand, let me squeeze his hand during contractions, rubbed my head, & constantly whispered encouraging & loving words in my ear & made me laugh when he saw I was getting frustrated. Colton adores you, you two are a great team so you'll be just fine! I think you'll handle it like a champ! I will keep you & baby uriah in my prayers for a safe & speedy delivery, and of course for you both to be healthy! 💕 I'm sorry my comment was so long, i just wanted to give you as much detail as I could in hopes that it helps in some way!
I was induced when I was pregnant with my son. They induced me at 40 weeks exactly. I developed preeclampsia in my 9th month so that's why they decided to. I ended up having a c-section as well. I wanted to have a natural vaginal birth but things don't always go as planned. I'm just glad my baby boy was born healthy. Good luck to you and I hope you have a healthy delivery! :)
I was induced a little past my 40th week. I went for my regular check up, since about my 32nd week I was dialted to 3 centimeters, and they discovered my fluids were low. I had to get on a monitor to make sure baby was ok and he was in no stress but they still decided to check me into the hospital. I personally was okay with being induced, it hadn't really crossed my mind before that time but I was a lot more at ease because I was being prepared for the next steps. I tell everyone each woman is unique and differently made so our birth stories will be so too. Don't get too caught up into others labor and delivery obstacles just remember that God made you for this and he has prepared you. God bless you and your family, can't wait to meet your bundle of joy!
I was induced at 42 weeks and it all went so smooth and easy. Checked in at 8:00am, got my room, they started the Iv and at 2:00pm my daughter was born. It was so organized and great ! You have a great attitude and that's so important ! 😀
Hey Nitra, I was induced with my son at 39 weeks. Everything went great. I started my IV at 7:30am and I have birth around 6:15 p.m. They were able to control how fast I was dilating. My advice is to follow your "motherly" instincts and don't let people scare you. Everyone is different when it comes to childbirth. Congrats again! You guys are gonna do great!
I was induced at 38 weeks, as my water had broke with no labor pains or dilation. I was given pitocin at 7:00 a.m. and I delivered that evening at 7:30 p.m. I did request an epidural which allowed me to rest until 7 that evening.
only 15 pounds gained....I'm so jealous!!!! you will lose that weight automatically after he is born within a few weeks. I can't even tell you are pregnant....Your delivery will be swift and safe. May God continuously bless u and hubby with your new baby...
I was induced at 37 weeks due to preeclampsia, labor was definitely long and contractions were painful but when you have your husband there and rubbing your back it helps a lot!! Every pain is worth it to meet your baby in the end! Good luck with everything! 🍀
Hi Nitraa, I was induced with my second son at 35 weeks, due to hypertension. It was an interesting experience but my body handled the labor well. I was induced around 11 a.m and my son was born 7:34 p.m. You hang in there and you will be fine. Breathing slowly through the contractions and tons of hand holding and back rubs, and xoxox will help so much.
My son is now one. My water broke at 38 weeks but it didn't break in it's entirety so I had to have the rest of the bag broken. The dilution started to slow down and at that point I was given pitocin to help speed things along and back moving again. I received the epidural which I LOVED by the way! Labor was exhausting and I was extremely hungry but God made our bodies for this - and you'll realize how really strong you are. I really enjoyed being pregnant...I had an easy one and cannot wait to do it again! I missed my bump! You look so cute!!!
Hi Nitraa welcome back... I was induced at 38 1/2 weeks.... I wasn't having contractions, but I had a lot of mucus and light bleeding. When I got to the hospital and they checked me I was only 1 centimeter they kept me because they said it was my first pregnancy. Once they induce me the contractions starred they were pretty hard and yes they was off the chart but with a good partner (like from the videos I know Colton is) you will do fine. I had my baby natural and I was in lanot 5 hours.... Everybody's is different but I look at I was brining in a little life and I was ready to see her.... you will do great and blessed at the same time. I can't wait to see your bundle of joy.... much love to you and hubby....
Hi Nitra. I've been pregnant 3 times and been induced 3 times. The best advice I can give would be just to listen to your body. I did get the epidural but I waited until I felt I couldn't take it anymore. With my first one I was induced at 41 weeks. My second and third I was 39 weeks. all three are girls and born healthy. Having a baby is one of the greatest gift from God. God bless you and your family.
How in the world could anyone thumbs down this??? Seriously get out of here with that negativity we have a baby coming this is a blessed joyful experience we get to witness!!
The countdown begins..... I'm so excited 💙💙💙 my daughter( 2nd child) was very simple with little weight gain,no sickness or no pains. My son(1st child) I gained 90lbs,morning sickness throughout pregnancy,Braxton hicks, body aches. P.s your tongue is blue 😂😂😂
I pray that you have a natural, healthy labor experience. Stay strong in faith and you and the baby will be fine! I was told so many things by so many people and none of it happened. My water broke at home, I had a natural delivery and it was nothing but prayer that kept me focused. No matter what happens at the hospital stay calm. Best thing I ever did even when a nurse got nasty with me. Congrats to y'all!!!
Got inducted and was in labor for 22hours and 26 mins. I am currently 29 weeks with a little girl and I plan on going into labor naturally because it happens quicker. Be patient and let your body decide when it is ready. I pray that everything goes well for you, baby, and daddy 😊😊
I was induced with my second child, it went sooooo smoothly. I was playing cards and chatting up until I popped him out. I was nervous because of hearing others experiences with it but I prayed about it and had little to no pain.
okay so I'm only 7 weeks and I feel hideous. I'm gaining weight bc I was already diabetic..how do you make yourself still feel beautiful...also I'm extremely emotional..even typing this makes me wanna cry.. smh
Candice Cooper I'm 26 weeks and I've experienced everything u said minus diabetes...don't be so hard on urself and cry when u need to. pamper urself often and listen to ure body. Good luck, mama!!!
You are the CUTEST THANG!! OMG!!! Your excitement is making MY excitement for you and me go through the roof!! I'm officially 20 weeks today and for a 41 yr. old first timer, my pregnancy as well has been pretty easy!! Thanks to people like you and @socialitesande, I've learned so so much and I'm so grateful!!! I can't wait for little Uriah and my little Thomas J. to make their appearances!!! Prayers and Blessings to you and Colton!! MUAH!! 😍👶😍👶 #BoyMommies!! #2017Babies!!
As long as you stay active, you'll be fine! Walking is key!!! First child 3 hrs of labor and 4 pushes she was here!! I walked a mile a day til I gave birth.
I am 41 weeks. I love being a mom but pregnancy is one part I wish I could skip because of multiple complications I've had during my pregnancies. Birth plan is all set and revised due to induction and I am delaying cord clamping. I am sooooo Excited to see my baby girl! I wish you and your husband blessings with your new bundle of joy...
Its so funny to see you married and preggo. I remember when you was in Orlando *sigh*. Im so happy for yall. I have been induced with both my boys. My oldest was 2 weeks over due but I still wanted to have him natural. It took 24 hours to work but I pushed him out after 3 pushes, no problem. Now my baby boy was not that easy. I was induced 4 days early because I had pre-partum. The induction meds didn't work and plus his shoulders are too broad for me to push him out natural so I had to have a C-section. I personally prefer trying for the natural approach. I never had the water break experience and my contractions we're never really strong (and thats without out pain meds both times.). I'm currently 8 weeks now and I'm trying my hardest to do what I need to do to have the full natural , water breaking experience. Just go with the flow of things, you'll be great!
I'll take the first trimester over the 3rd any day!! I had no morning sickness or anything in the beginning. The 3rd was horrible for me. My baby sat in my right rib cage area which caused me so much pain and I had really bad heartburn and acid reflux. I couldn't breathe laying down so I had to sit up to sleep. But I wouldn't change it for anything! You get the best gift at the end of it all ❤️
I can't believe how fast time has gone! Seems like yesterday we just found out! I literally can not wait for Uriah to get here!!! You look absolutely gorgeous btw..... blessings!!
I just want to start by saying that I'm a very strong believer in medicine, i would never have my baby not in a hospital. With my 1st I got induced and oh man the recovery was so long, I had back pain from the epidural and during the labor I felt so groggy from the medicine they pumped into me. With my 2nd n 3rd labor, I went completely natural, no epidural, just let it happen. And it was night n day! I was able to get up and shower, I was awake n aware of everything and most importantly my recovery was super speedy and no back pain. I know this is a very personal choice and I respect every woman's choice. Just wanted to share my experiences, wishing you all the best in your upcoming labor & delivery.
My third trimester was the worst! I wasn't that sick in the first trimester, so it wasn't to bad for me. I was induced at 37 weeks EXACTLY due to hypertension, and the process was FOREVER. I didn't progress as fast, I was in labor for 22 hours, but it was well worth it. I delivered a beautiful baby girl on May 8th of last year! I hope these weeks fly by for you so you can meet you little boy!
Being sick during labor is the Worst, I had a bad cold during my 2nd son birth, I was planning to do the VBAC, but was so sick settled for a c-section. I love your vlogs, we are trying for baby #3....you keep me motivated!
Congratulations! I pray that you have a blessed and healthy delivery. The 3rd tri was definitely better than the 1st for me. As you get further along, you will feel more pressure in the pelvic area. Not only is the baby moving down, but your bones are also shifting to prepare for labor. Nothing to worry about. Your body is programmed to do exactly what it needs. Stay blessed!!
I know these videos are fairly old . But your one of my FAVORITE vloggers. I can watch all day , especially the baby update , I'm 26weeks . Having a boy as well ..this is my first as well . You make it look so easy ❤️❤️ Thank you.
I was induced. Labour was three hours and I had my beautiful baby boy! The third trimester wasn't as physically exhausting as the first but the anxiety of whether that was a mucus plug, the disappointment of false contractions etc emotionally roller coaster. Enjoy your last days
Just a little info on BH contractions. About 90% of them are painless, all you will feel is your belly tightening. There are some that do hurt and a good way to determine if it's BH's or real contractions is to get into a tub of warm water. BH's will stop after a few minutes but real contractions will intensify. I know this from personal experience! Prayers for a safe delivery! It's truly amazing what our bodies can do!
I was induced with both of my kids.. and everything was going good I went my full term. But as soon as they gave me pitocin... my babies went into distress and I had to get an emergency c-section each time. So if you have to be induced just watch out for that!! I'm praying everything will be natural and stress free for you!
My daughter was scheduled to be induced yesterday:however after she was admitted and prepped with the Cervidal her water broke on its own. Labor started but about 2 Hours in the contracts begin to spread out, so they gave her a small dose of Patosin she could tell the difference between the contractions they were stronger. They decided to lower the amount she was getting in her IV. Long story short she delivered at 1:45 this morning a 8lb 10oz baby boy.
I was induced at 38 weeks. I went in for normal check up and my son's heartbeat was very slow so my OB sent me to the hospital. Once I got to the hospital, the baby's heartbeat was beating away, however, after an ultrasound, it was determined that I would need to be induced because my amniotic fluid was low! I was alone, my husband out of town on business and my family in a completely different state, and I started crying and shaking. The nurse calmed me down and apparently I had a large contraction that I didn't even feel! Needless to say, I made it to around 6 centimeters dilated and was literally screaming at the nurse to give me an epidural, however, it only worked on one half of my body and they refused to try to remedy the situation. I am currently 9 weeks pregnant with my second child, so I am praying that this little one comes on his own terms and that I am able to make it through without the epidural since I felt everything on one side before. I don't want to scare you, but it was asked that someone share their experience. I don't regret a single thing and love my son just as much as the day I knew he was growing inside me. I wish you, Colton, and baby Uriah the absolute best and our family can't wait to see him!
I delivered both of my girls around 36 weeks and my water never broke on its own but I was about 6 1/2 cm both times I got rushed to the hospital! It's not bad at all to me! Just remember to breathe through every contraction and everything will be fine! It's a BEAUTIFUL thing I cried both times when I delivered lol
every trimester was awesome for me! My daughter treated me very well especially with it being my 1st pregnancy. I didn't have a birth plan but I looked into delayed cord cutting and skin on skin contact. I did both!
It's the worst feeling ever to get induced!!! I was 37 weeks with baby number 4 and I had dilated to 4 centimeters and my doctor just thought that I was going to deliver Serenity on the side of the road. But nope we got to hospital and everything Stoped! So after 3 hours they decided to induce my labor. It took my labor pains from zero to a billion. I was in so much pain that I asked for the epidural and literally 15 mins later Serenity was born. Now with that being said everybody is different and every labor is different because the previous two births I had natural. But just follow your body's instincts and let nature take its corse. But if you happen to need drugs take them!!!!!! But if you can hold out do so.... love you guys. And can't wait to meet the new bundle of joy. Stay blessed
I was induced at 39 weeks 5 days. It took 24 hours to go into active labor (with the help of cervidil and pitocin) then it took 12 hours for me to reach 10cm. I don't regret it all. My doctor was patient and very reassuring. Wish you and Colton all the best with baby Uriah ❤❤
I was induced at 36 weeks due to previous late term miscarriage but labor started to progress and after 12 hours of labor no epidural and dilating to a 6 she wouldn't drop anymore so I had to have c-section but I was blessed with a healthy and beautiful baby girl the day before my husband birthday and God bless you and your family
Congrats Nitraa, pressure in the pelvic area is fine, you have ligaments around that area that are stretching to accommodate the growing baby. Birth plans are good. Just a word of advice, when you go into labor stay in the comfort of your own home for as long as you can bear it. A first baby takes hours and hours for you to deliver. If you go to the hospital too early they will send you back home or if you are admitted you will be hooked up to monitors and such. Please discuss your birth plan with your doctor because believe it or not depending on your provider they may not always be "birth plan friendly". By the way I am not a random person, I am a labor and delivery nurse. Just don't overthink it, go with the flow and understand that every labor is different and don't expect your experience to be like other people or videos. And please insist on immediate skin to skin if you are planning on breastfeeding. Good luck.
Hello Nitraa!!! Your So Inspiring!! So Prepared! I just found out I'M PREGNANT!!! I'm about 7weeks, and Excited! Love You and I'm praying for Safe Delivery for you and the baby!!
I was induced at 40wks 5days, the whole process took 2 hours, my contractions were never more than a minute 39 secs apart. it was so fast that I cou9get and epidural, it was painful but fast so that was good. Good luck and I wish you a safe, and speedy delivery.
If you plan on having a natural birth, the one piece of advice I could give you: Just put your mindset at the level that the next contraction will be more painful than the current and then you will get through the real bad ones. Also, don't lose control, cause once you do, it is hard to get the control back. Laboring is very painful, but i found mind over matter helped me so much.
I was induced! It was the easiest and smoothest delivery I had (I have 2 girls) you know exactly what's going to happen and it calmed my nerves a whole lot!! They induce at 39 weeks as long as you don't have any problems that will force them to do it earlier!! Good luck!
I'm so excited for you! Girl the bigger the baby the better they sleep! Congrats 🎊I had a c-section. Aaron was 10 lbs 20 oz, biggest baby in the nursery! Just enjoy this time!
My 3rd trimester was definitely better than the 1st!!!! I was sick as a dog the ENTIRE 1st trimester!!!! I vomited everyday, certain smells made me sick (coffee, bacon, loud perfumes) and I could not eat anything creamy lol or up it came!!! I was back popping by my 3rd. They induced my labor so I didn't experience the whole water breaking fiasco. I only labored for 2-hours and she was here!!!! The nurses and doctors were shocked!!!! They say first time Mothers normally labor for quite a while. So I pray yours will be smooth sailing as well!!
I hope I look as good as you when ever I choose to have a baby!! You are glowing and look gorgeous 😩🙌🏾😻 can't wait to see that little handsome fella 🙌🏾
You are still looking so gorgeous! You did incredibly well with not gaining too much weight. That will be a huge blessing once you deliver. I just have a feeling that your body will snap back beautifully! I have been through naturally going into labor and also have been induced. I preferred the waking up to use the bathroom and as soon as I stood up my water broke! haha It was so exciting and it was a week past my due date so clearly I was prepared! Then with my other 3 I was admitted to the hospital at approx 41 weeks to be induced. The contractions get super intense a LOT faster with an induction, whereas naturally going into labor it was a little more of an easing into it! With all 4 of my babies I was able to go all natural and no drugs at all!! I was determined to do that and I stuck to it! As soon as yo check in a nurse will ask if you plan to get an epidural or if you want to go natural. I said natural 100% and she never asked again!! It was painful but fast and worth every single moment!!!! There was a time that I DID ask if I could have something to take the edge off and she said that was a great sign. So they checked me and sure enough te baby was ready to come out! So I used all that pain to push and get the baby out asap! Literally the moment that babies body is out you feel nothing but JOY!! I am BEYOND excited for you and Colton. You will do great bc you two are a team!God Bless and this pregnancy has flown by!! haha You may not see it that way but I sure do! lol
I'm so excited for you! I've been so behind with TH-cam videos since I just had my baby, I miss watching them and cannot believe you're almost there time flies! just wanted to wish you a safe pregnancy ❤
Oh girl, God bless ur little one! I was induced in my 1st pregnancy when I was 38 wks, the waiting game was the hard part...it took around 8 hrs, but only 3 w/ the bad contractions...Stay blessed!!
Breastfeeding will make the baby weight FLY off! The amount of calories you burn when nursing is like 2-3hrs of cardio! I was even smaller 6wks after delivery then before I was even pregnant. Many women don't know this which is why so many retain the baby weight. God designed us to be fearfully and wonderfully made! I was induced at 36wks 4days due to preeclampsia. It was nice to be prepared for labor bc my overall experience was rough my entire pregnancy. It was nice to be in place, epidural already set in and ready to go. Being induced didn't make my experience any less valuable; although I do think letting it happen naturally is the better choice if you have that option. Great update! So excited for you and Colten 🤗
Nitra I have two boys a 16 year old and 6 year old. Both of my labors were different. when I had my first son I was young and dumb, I was induced after my water broke and honestly this delayed my labor a lot and it was horrible and painful. I believe I was scheduled to be induced a week after my due date. when I had my second son at 30 I was a lot more knowledgeable and I read a lot to prepare myself. I went to the hospital with my contractions 5 minutes apart I learned to breath calmly and control my pain. I actually used an app on my phone worked great to time my contractions. I tried to go natural but I did end up taking epidural, my son was sunny side up making labor a little difficult and caused a lot of pressure, but after being able to turn him face down everything then worked out and Sebastian was born. I breast fed for three years, made my own baby food and overall had a much better labor experience with my second son.
Do not opt for induction unless it's absolutely needed; if natural labor pains are a 8 induction with pitocin pains are a 25, allow your baby to come naturally it will be easier on you and him.
Hi Nitra I was induced18 yrs ago with my first child my daughter. I had a regular appt with my Dr and an ultrasound scheduled. During the ultrasound they saw that amniotic fluid was leaking out. I thought that I just had to pee. Well the Dr told me to go to the hospital he was going to have to induce my labor. I think I was about 38wks. They put in my cervix a strip type paper called Cervidil it was to think out the cervix. The next morning they started the Petocin the induction meds . My contractions came quickly after and they were one after another getting intense as time went on, thanks be to God that after a few hours he broke my water and I began to dilate. About an hour later my daughter was here. I did eventually get an epidural. Don't be alarmed by my story because everyone is different. My next two pregnancies were totally different. So everything will be ok . God has you'll. God bless you.
Awww, I am excited for you guys. You can do this. Your body is definitely getting prepared. Find you some music and songs that sooth you and keep those with you. I took a warm shower that helped with the contractions. I hummed when it they got bad. It's like a really bad menstrual cycle cramp. With God and your hubby you have this under control! Be blessed darling!
When I was induced I was tired of being pregnant. It wasn't a bad experience at all. I was induced at like 38 wks I think (it has been 15 years). Now that I look back on it I would have like to just go into labor but I'm done. So I hope you just go into labor and everything goes smoothly for you and baby Uriah oh and Colton too 😘
I was induced on my last 2 pregnancy and it was definitely a blessing for me!! The first delivery was natural and I was in soooo much pain but with the last two being inductions I received an epidural before the pain got to intense. I was literally lying in bed taking selfies with my third child lol!! And I was only in labor 4 hrs. But do what you feel is right for you! I pray you have a safe delivery however it happens!!
Hey Nitraa, my husband and I were just watching your "closet" video when I got the notification of this one. He asked if Colton was on this one, lol I said no hunni this is girl chat. So excited, I feel like you're family, you look great, see you on the next one 😊
I'm due April 3rd! And my third trimester is by far the most difficult. The first 2 were super easy for me, I didn't have any nausea or anything. But this one, I'm always tired and hungry! I have about 4 weeks left, Good Luck Nitra!!! 😚😚
I was induced at 34 weeks cause something was wrong with his kidney not trying to scare you but he's grown to be 17 now and doing very well with one kidney i was excited and a little scared but i know God had me and my Baby He got you and your family Covered and everything will be All Right... With God's Hands is on you ..... Believe, Hope Love Joy!!!!
I was induced with my first and i wished I had waited. Both of my kids were past the due date (5 days with first, 3 with second)-and I wish I had waited the full two weeks before being induced. I don't think my first liked that whole process and I had to get an emergency c-section. Also, I've seen recent articles about inductions increasing postpartum depression. My advice to you is to just allow the baby to come when he's ready unless there is good reason to be induced. You can safely go 42wks before needing an induction. Also, you may want to talk to your doctor about delayed cord cutting and allow the umbilical cord to stop pulsating while baby is still attached, that way the baby gets all of the nutrients he needs from the cord blood.
Yaaassss hair is laid hunnie!! So glad & grateful to hear all is well with you & baby Uriah!!!! Still praying for a smooth birth & a wonderful experience overall! Thanks for the update!!
I'm currently 15 weeks with my second (a girl this time). I would definitely say the second trimester is the easiest. I have enjoying watching all of your pregnancy videos and getting ideas from you. I can't wait to see the final nursery tour and what's in your hospital bag video.
I didn't mind either trimester with my kids - I have twins and it was just an awesome experience. I was induced and it was good for me because I am a planner and I was able to plan everything accordingly. You look absolutely beautiful, that Glow though!!! Definitely praying for you all and praying all will be just fine!
I was induced at 40 weeks exactly and my baby didn't come until a day and a half later lol. He was a stubborn one and still is 3 years later haha. I'm so excited for y'all:)
I prefer 3rd trimester over the first cause I was always sick an couldn't keep anything down. But now I'm 35 weeks I'm just so excited an waiting on him to arrive.
I had to get induced because I was almost 41weeks and I didn't have any warnings that the baby is coming. My water wouldn't break. That's why I had to get induced... but the baby still wouldn't come down for hours. The nurses poked and trying to get the baby to come down... still no luck so I had to get a Csection. I cried because I didn't want to get a C section...but in the end everything went well. Bless you on your new Baby Nittra. Thanks for your update too!💙💙💙
I gave birth naturally and even though the very end was tough, I would do it again.
Oh my goodness... Now I'm crying. I love your advice. Thank you for your sweet words.
You're welcome although I feel a little bad I made you cry! I never comment on any videos bc people can be a little crazy here but I have been following your journey for a while now and wanted to share my experience in hopes it would encourage you and maybe others who read it. 😘
Lindsay Aiken 8
Lindsay Aiken that is beautiful I had a similar experience my water exploded at night when a snow storm was coming and I had to just breathe and I wasn't given hours before induction they induced pretty soon but I had a natural birth and it was something I would do again in a heartbeat i look at my now 10 week old and just thank God that he was safe and sound although we had some scary moments and it wasn't all to plan it was imperfectly perfect!

Im 17 weeks and just did my gender Reveal yesterday. it's a Boy! Thank you for posting these updates. can't wait to see your beautiful baby!!!
Tanya Togafau congrats!
Tanya Togafau congratulations love!!
Carol Peterson omg! Same here! I thought that was so weird, I really wanted to feel contractions with out pitocin, maybe next time.
only 15 pounds gained....I'm so jealous!!!! you will lose that weight automatically after he is born within a few weeks.
20 weeks 3 days with my second child after 11 years..... this is almost new to me.
I know the feeling, I'm almost 27 weeks and my oldest is 10
Lesette A wow
Lesette A im 26 weeks my oldest is 17 middle is 9 🙄
I'm 27 weeks and my first is 12 years old I swear I forgot everything cause it's been so long
Lesette A congratulations!!
FROM THE GADWAS CHANNEL
I'm gaining weight bc I was already diabetic..how do you make yourself still feel beautiful...also I'm extremely emotional..even typing this makes me wanna cry.. smh
It will all be fine in the end💕
It will definitely get better. The first trimester definitely has everything out of wack. I'll be praying for you and baby!
thanks I appreciate the good vibes
Candice Cooper I'm 26 weeks and I've experienced everything u said minus diabetes...don't be so hard on urself and cry when u need to. pamper urself often and listen to ure body. Good luck, mama!!!
Candice Cooper im 6 weeks and I feel horrible 😥😥 ugh.
Praying for a wonderful delivery experience. I do not have children yet, but I am so excited for those of you who are becoming new Moms. ☺️
Dani Jé are you hoping for a girl this time?
I'll take the first trimester over the 3rd any day!! I had no morning sickness or anything in the beginning. The 3rd was horrible for me. My baby sat in my right rib cage area which caused me so much pain and I had really bad heartburn and acid reflux. I couldn't breathe laying down so I had to sit up to sleep. But I wouldn't change it for anything! You get the best gift at the end of it all ❤️
I can't believe how fast time has gone! Seems like yesterday we just found out! I literally can not wait for Uriah to get here!!! You look absolutely gorgeous btw..... blessings!!
Love you more!!!!!
My first trimester was horrible 😩 I am into the 3rd trimester now and you are so right about waiting😒 I am ready 🤗
LifeAsMarieTV congratulations!!

I love your vlogs, we are trying for baby #3....you keep me motivated!
why did I get so emotional watching this? Wow. So excited for you Nitra. I know we are all praying for you.
Congratulations, Can't wait to see Uriah❤❤❤
I'm a simple girl.... I get a notification, I stop what I'm doing, and I watch :) Best youtuber hands down....
I know this is off topic but you look amazing...... which hair is this it looks so gorg!!!
Awww thank you so much...the hair is some older hair from Valencia Rose.

I know these videos are fairly old . But your one of my FAVORITE vloggers. I can watch all day , especially the baby update , I'm 26weeks . Having a boy as well ..this is my first as well . You make it look so easy ❤️❤️
Thank you.
So excited for you guys! I am currently in my 3rd trimester and caught a pretty bad cold. Very congested.
You and I are due the same exact date!!!! :) Wishing you a safe and healthy Labour and delivery! 4 more weeks to go!!!
every trimester was awesome for me!
I'm 23 weeks with a baby boy!! 💙 I'm so excited! And glad to have your videos to watch so I'll know what's coming up! Will you do a nursery tour?
I was induced at 36 weeks due to previous late term miscarriage but labor started to progress and after 12 hours of labor no epidural and dilating to a 6 she wouldn't drop anymore so I had to have c-section but I was blessed with a healthy and beautiful baby girl the day before my husband birthday and God bless you and your family
I'm so excited for you! I just entered my 3rd trimester and I totally understand the anticipation. I can't wait!!!!!
You're glowing !! So excited for you guys!!
I was induced at 40wks 5days, the whole process took 2 hours, my contractions were never more than a minute 39 secs apart. it was so fast that I cou9get and epidural, it was painful but fast so that was good. Good luck and I wish you a safe, and speedy delivery.
Your son loves you already!!! He is being so kind to your waistline!!! You look amazing!! Stay blessed
I m really happy for u guys. Praying your bundle of blessings arrives safely. I m 33 weeks 3 days pregnant with my second son and really excited...
I scared myself senseless with watching labor and delivery stories! I cried and cried lol
Yay, super excited! I became a grandmother on the 21st. Blessings
Can't wait. My bf thinks I'm crazy because I talk about you like your my real big sister in my head !!! Idc idc
😘😘😘😘😘 love you!
NitraaB TV I love you soooo much. I can't wait to see little Uriah and wish you the best of luck in your labor and delivery!!!!!❤️❤️
lishpow my boo tells me the same thing, and says it's like I'm having a baby and anxious for it to come, my daughters birthday is on the 2nd of March.
Awww!!!! CONGRATULATIONS Nitra and Colton!!!! Nitra motherhood looks good on you! the nursery is beautiful. :)
You're just glowing each time I see you... I'm happy you got over the flu 😊
So I hope you just go into labor and everything goes smoothly for you and baby Uriah oh and Colton too 😘
wow going through the comments a lot of mom to be on here congrats guys!!
You look so beautiful! So exciting that baby boy will be here soon. So happy for you guys!
Thank you so much love.
Love your positivity during your pregnancy!!
I was induced at 34 weeks cause something was wrong with his kidney not trying to scare you but he's grown to be 17 now and doing very well with one kidney
i was excited and a little scared but i know God had me and my Baby
He got you and your family Covered and everything will be
All Right...
I honestly love your spirit. You guys will be amazing parents. I'm excited for you 💙💙
I can't wait to meet baby Uriah!!! Hope you'll have a safe delivery hon. I've always enjoyed watching your vlogs. All the best boo😘😘
I'm so excited for you! I am 31w... right behind you! I dealing with nausea like CRAZY..... but my entire pregnancy has been like this.
Girl, you're so far along. You look great!!!!
I'm currently 15 weeks with my second (a girl this time). I would definitely say the second trimester is the easiest. I have enjoying watching all of your pregnancy videos and getting ideas from you. I can't wait to see the final nursery tour and what's in your hospital bag video.
You're so close, I'm so excited for you! I never experienced a contraction until the night I went into labor.
@NitraabTV Don't forget to make plans for piglet just in case your labor goes long. I.e. Pee pads, dog sitter etc. Blessings!
